There's a mix of regular and high end stores here, so you're sure to find a store that has what you're looking for. The food court has a number of fast food options, but you'll need to walk around nearby for better-than-fast-food. The one thing that annoyed me was no directory! None of the boards that should've been directories displayed any kind of map. And no, I do not have any interest in scanning a QR code to pull up something on my phone: in a public place like that, I have no idea if it's legit or not, or if it's a fake one that will hijack my phone or wallet. It was very crowded with high school kids hanging out and playing games in the area. I was able to go around and check out the different stores. On the bottom floor there are several food options. I was able to pick up some food at Harleys Sandwiches. You have your usual fast food options available. Afterwards you can head out and catch the metro nearby. It is easy to get to from DC or Virginia. I enjoyed coming here to get out of the heat and relax for a while.

They have restaurants along the outside and even some hidden ones inside some of the entrances of the indoor corridor. I would suggest probably researching first based off options and where to eat. There's plenty of dessert, bakeries, and even some small markets. There's an Asian grocery store that's almost like an H-Mart which has a wide variety of Asian groceries, snacks, and food. We went to one restaurant that was pretty good and the wife got Ban Bo Hue and I had the grilled pork. It was decent and there were a lot of people waiting in line. Only thing is you could only pay cash. They have an ATM around the corner but have a service charge of like $8 from what I can remember. I would recommend this place if you love Vietnamese food. I would love to go back to explore some of the other places we didn't get to see.

He never returned to help me, but I did see him avoid avoiding me numerous times when he walked back-and-forth to whatever it was, he was supposedly doing. He was definitely avoiding me though. I tried pressing the button on the cabinet and it did not work. I went to a nearby cabinet and pressed that button numerous times and it did seem to be working, but nobody showed up. Somebody walked by that did not seem to be an employee. They were buzzing around the area and I assumed they were a shopper because they made no effort to interact with me even though I was looking for help and I had been standing by that cabinet for at least 10 minutes. I finally saw another employee walking by and I asked them for help and I believe they were a manager because they went over to that person I did not think it was an employee and asked if they could help me. As soon as that manager left the area that employee scolded me for not asking her for help and using the button on the case. Her name was Toya H, according to her name tag and she had a very unfriendly attitude. I was being scolded by an employee for asking a manager for help. I tried to explain to her that I repeatedly pressed that button on the case, and it seemed to be broken, and I even went so far as to press the button on a nearby case and nobody showed up. She basically ignored what I told her. After getting that hat situation taken care of my girlfriend and I eventually made it to the registers with our items we wanted to purchase. There was a fairly long line for that time of day. There were only a few people on register, but there was an employee sitting there at a register using her phone for quite a while and not attempting to help anyone. Not really sure why they were at a register with their light off and playing on their phone, but that's what was happening. The nearby manager didn't seem to care. We got that employee once we got through the line and now she was actually helping people. All she would talk about while helping us was the fact that her 15 minute break was coming up and she couldn't wait to get away. Very unprofessional. We like to hit up these TJ Maxx stores whenever we travel to see what they have in the area that we wouldn't find at home and this is honestly the most unprofessional group of employees have run across any of these stores.

I STILL have my men's satchel briefcase from college. Back then the leathers were super supple buffalo hides. I also still have a checkbook holder and a few other zippered pouches and such that I no longer use. Today's Coach isn't nearly as nice, especially the men's line. Around 2000, the company shifted its offerings from simply designed, neutral-toned leather purses to bags made of mixed materials ― that is, leather paired with canvas or nylon ― available in an array of colors and logo prints. Simply put, in order to keep up with "trends" they started selling crap. Called the Tyson's store last year to ask about having the straps replaced on my briefcase and was told that they didn't even repair bags (outside of warranty) anymore. Turns out that wasn't exactly correct since I just found a shipping and repair label on their website. Hmmm.... I guess the person I spoke to on the phone was probably too young to know what she was talking about. Ended up using a local cobbler to replace the straps (which don't look as nice) so I may just send my bag in to Coach now after all. Anyway.... Their quality fell off and I had long since moved on so I really didn't care. Flash forward to the year 2022 and I was considering something nice for my daughter's 16th birthday. Something nice but not "too" nice if you catch my drift. Something a 16-year-old girl would appreciate and I wouldn't be pissed if she lost or damaged beyond recognition. Someone sent me a gift idea of a Coach keychain pouch - from Bloomingdale's, for $65. Remembering that there was a Coach store down at Tanger Outlets, I decided to check them out first. Fearing online fakery and running out of time as her birthday approaches, I knew I wouldn't have time to get anything shipped. Another deciding factor in going to Tanger. Disclaimer: Since it opened a few years back, I never really have gone down there to look at anything. Plus, I'm suspicious of "outlet centers" conspicuously placed in heavily populated areas. Glad I went to check this one out however. Although the selection is somewhat limited versus main line department stores like Bloomingdale's, I was able to obtain a keychain ID pouch for less than half the Bloomie's price. This place even offers a 10% military discount. Deal was so good even got one for my older daughter. Two ($78) keychain pouches for $59? Yes please, and thank you. Side note: the floor plan of this outlet center needs some work. By the time you see the big American flag and the building (in the very back of the mall) with COACH on it, you've already passed the actual store. I was about to give up when I walked into the Nike store - saw the ridiculous line - walked out, and looked ahead on my right and there the store was.... finally. I'd been walking around for close to 30 minutes...didn't see a security guard... didn't see a directory...or directional signage.... and was about to go home. I was having a conversation with the associate inside and she said, "yeah people get confused all the time." Speaking of associates, the ones here greeted me quickly and repeatedly, so service is super friendly and efficient. Maybe I'll check out a few other stores at Tanger Outlets now. If you are looking for the Coach store however you'd better bring a compass and coordinates, lol. I was so turned around after my "stroll" around Tanger Outlets that I couldn't even find my vehicle - which took me another 20 minutes to locate as I retraced my path - which was all kind of a blur at this point since ALL the stores now looked familiar. Had Blue Bell ice cream in the trunk that I'd just picked up from Walmart 30 minutes earlier. Luckily it was chilly outside this afternoon or I probably would have met a milkshake or two. I have called their customer service number multiple times and filed multiple claims. However, Bloomingdale's will not issue a refund or a replacement because they say that since the package arrived, there's nothing they can do. The other thing they can't do is provide proof that all three pairs of shoes ended up being shipped. Their system is horrible because you can't actually talk to the people who review the claims. If I could give them zero stars, I would. p. s. If you want an actual person to review your claim with Bloomingdale's and not a bot, you have to call their number. If you submit it online, it will just be auto reviewed by a bot.

I was interested in the Diptyque candles because I wanted to purchase one for my sister, but after smelling them, I didn't think they were as impressive as the Diptyque perfumes I already own. I was actually glad I didn't do a blind buy. The associate then directed me to the Byredo fragrance counter. I wanted a Byredo candle, but I wasn't looking to spend $95 on one. While browsing online, I noticed there was a smaller size available, but the associate never mentioned that option. The candle selection in the store was also very limited and seemed to be low in stock. When I told him I'd just order online, his attitude became noticeably dismissive once he realized I wasn't purchasing the $95 candle. He did offer to place an online order for store pickup, but by that point I no longer felt comfortable purchasing through him. Between his attitude and my earlier interaction with the second associate, I simply didn't feel valued as a customer. I then went up to the third floor, where the experience unfortunately didn't improve. Although several sales associates walked past me, no one greeted me or offered assistance. I finally stopped one associate and asked if the candles on display were the only ones available. She replied that she was on her break and could find someone else to help. I asked if she could simply answer my question, and she responded, "I don't know." At that point, I was extremely frustrated. Thankfully, my experience completely turned around when I reached the customer service register. The two gentlemen working there were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. I'll admit I probably came across as frustrated, but that was only because of the multiple negative interactions I'd already experienced. They noticed I was on a scooter wearing a walking boot and treated me with genuine care and respect. One of the associates was Micah S., and he and his coworker provided the level of customer service I had hoped to receive throughout the store. They listened, understood my concerns, and made me feel appreciated as a customer. They truly deserve recognition--and if anyone has earned a bonus or a raise, it's those two gentlemen.
