Easy to get here from the Metro's Pentagon City stop .. when you get off the Metro and exit the turnstiles, just follow the signs at the "T" for Fashion Centre. There's a mix of regular and high end stores here, so you're sure to find a store that has what you're looking for. The food court has a number of fast food options, but you'll need to walk around nearby for better-than-fast-food. The one thing that annoyed me was no directory! None of the boards that should've been directories displayed any kind of map. And no, I do not have any interest in scanning a QR code to pull up something on my phone: in a public place like that, I have no idea if it's legit or not, or if it's a fake one that will hijack my phone or wallet. PUT THE MAPS BACK.

It was very crowded with high school kids hanging out and playing games in the area. I was able to go around and check out the different stores. On the bottom floor there are several food options. I was able to pick up some food at Harleys Sandwiches. You have your usual fast food options available. Afterwards you can head out and catch the metro nearby. It is easy to get to from DC or Virginia. I enjoyed coming here to get out of the heat and relax for a while.

If you decide to go over the weekend then be prepared for trying to find parking. It is madness. Not enough parking spots. You'll have to play parking wars and some of the spots were taken by some of the tents for outdoor seating but once you get past that it can be a little wild. Lots of people and so many food options. They have restaurants along the outside and even some hidden ones inside some of the entrances of the indoor corridor. I would suggest probably researching first based off options and where to eat. There's plenty of dessert, bakeries, and even some small markets. There's an Asian grocery store that's almost like an H-Mart which has a wide variety of Asian groceries, snacks, and food. We went to one restaurant that was pretty good and the wife got Ban Bo Hue and I had the grilled pork. It was decent and there were a lot of people waiting in line. Only thing is you could only pay cash. They have an ATM around the corner but have a service charge of like $8 from what I can remember. I would recommend this place if you love Vietnamese food. I would love to go back to explore some of the other places we didn't get to see.

After our Metro ride back to Eastern Market, I realized I didn't have my wallet. Once my initial panic subsided, I began to retrace my steps, riding the Metro back to Pentagon City. I looked, and looked, but no luck. I went back to my son's place feeling defeated. Fast forward a few months, the day before my birthday, I got a package from Nordstrom Rack at Pentagon City. I figured it was a gift from my son, remembering something I liked back in March. Well...imagine my utter surprise and astonishment to find the package contained my long lost WALLET!!!! The Polo sweater was clearly worn, dirty, and had two holes in the front. It wasn't even folded -- it looked like it was carelessly thrown into the box. The dress also arrived with a large hole near the back zipper. This level of quality control is unacceptable. To make matters worse, their return system isn't working, and the online chat support is unavailable. Customers should not have to struggle to return defective items. What seemed like a bargain turned out to be a complete waste of money . Even if the store is closing, that is not an excuse to send out damaged merchandise and leave customers without proper support. Deep discounts should not mean garbage.

I STILL have my men's satchel briefcase from college. Back then the leathers were super supple buffalo hides. I also still have a checkbook holder and a few other zippered pouches and such that I no longer use. Today's Coach isn't nearly as nice, especially the men's line. Around 2000, the company shifted its offerings from simply designed, neutral-toned leather purses to bags made of mixed materials ― that is, leather paired with canvas or nylon ― available in an array of colors and logo prints. Simply put, in order to keep up with "trends" they started selling crap. Called the Tyson's store last year to ask about having the straps replaced on my briefcase and was told that they didn't even repair bags (outside of warranty) anymore. Turns out that wasn't exactly correct since I just found a shipping and repair label on their website. Hmmm.... I guess the person I spoke to on the phone was probably too young to know what she was talking about. Ended up using a local cobbler to replace the straps (which don't look as nice) so I may just send my bag in to Coach now after all. Anyway.... Their quality fell off and I had long since moved on so I really didn't care. Flash forward to the year 2022 and I was considering something nice for my daughter's 16th birthday. Something nice but not "too" nice if you catch my drift. Something a 16-year-old girl would appreciate and I wouldn't be pissed if she lost or damaged beyond recognition. Someone sent me a gift idea of a Coach keychain pouch - from Bloomingdale's, for $65. Remembering that there was a Coach store down at Tanger Outlets, I decided to check them out first. Fearing online fakery and running out of time as her birthday approaches, I knew I wouldn't have time to get anything shipped. Another deciding factor in going to Tanger. Disclaimer: Since it opened a few years back, I never really have gone down there to look at anything. Plus, I'm suspicious of "outlet centers" conspicuously placed in heavily populated areas. Glad I went to check this one out however. Although the selection is somewhat limited versus main line department stores like Bloomingdale's, I was able to obtain a keychain ID pouch for less than half the Bloomie's price. This place even offers a 10% military discount. Deal was so good even got one for my older daughter. Two ($78) keychain pouches for $59? Yes please, and thank you. Side note: the floor plan of this outlet center needs some work. By the time you see the big American flag and the building (in the very back of the mall) with COACH on it, you've already passed the actual store. I was about to give up when I walked into the Nike store - saw the ridiculous line - walked out, and looked ahead on my right and there the store was.... finally. I'd been walking around for close to 30 minutes...didn't see a security guard... didn't see a directory...or directional signage.... and was about to go home. I was having a conversation with the associate inside and she said, "yeah people get confused all the time." Speaking of associates, the ones here greeted me quickly and repeatedly, so service is super friendly and efficient. Maybe I'll check out a few other stores at Tanger Outlets now. If you are looking for the Coach store however you'd better bring a compass and coordinates, lol. I was so turned around after my "stroll" around Tanger Outlets that I couldn't even find my vehicle - which took me another 20 minutes to locate as I retraced my path - which was all kind of a blur at this point since ALL the stores now looked familiar. Had Blue Bell ice cream in the trunk that I'd just picked up from Walmart 30 minutes earlier. Luckily it was chilly outside this afternoon or I probably would have met a milkshake or two. Kiana, the cashier was so engaged in conversation with her friend that she failed to properly wrap and bag my purchase. When I requested tissue paper so my item could be wrapped appropriately, she made no effort to assist me. Her behavior was disappointing and fell far short of the level of service I would expect from Coach. However, Tia deserves 5 stars for her outstanding professionalism and customer service! She was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided excellent feedback on the products I was interested in purchasing. Tia even stepped in to help wrap my purchase while Kiana the cashier continued talking with her friend. The only reason I proceeded with my purchase instead of requesting a refund was because of Tia. She turned an otherwise disappointing shopping experience around through her exceptional customer service. I sincerely hope Tia receives the recognition she deserves for a job well done. She is an excellent example of the level of service customers should receive at Coach. (I hope I have spelled her name correctly.)

I expected much more from Crate & Barrel. I bought Ankara Chairs on December 22, and after just…read morethree years, one chair developed a crack in the wood--despite being hardly used. These were living room chairs and probably sat on fewer than ten times total. This is clearly a manufacturing defect, not wear and tear. When I contacted customer service, they dismissed the issue simply because it was over two years old and offered no solution at all. For furniture at this price, a three-year lifespan is unacceptable. Between the poor durability and the lack of support, I wouldn't recommend Crate & Barrel furniture.

She was the weirdest and scariest lady I have ever met. Absolutely so disgustingly rude. I was at the checkout and I tried and make a conversation with her and she completely did not respond. When she was taking the black button thing off my dress she completely started banging it on the table and the beads were coming off of my dress. At the end she threw the bag at my face and i said thank you and she completely ignored me. Never in my years that I have lived here have I seen someone act so rude. She maybe has MENTAL problems or something because she was half crazy. I hope they fire her immediately. Never shopping at that store ever again.

Sarar... you're absolutely below average, but your sales associates make your store absolute crap…read more With so many options for quality, (relatively) higher-value clothiers in and around the DC area, I can only imagine why someone would want to come here, be ripped-off, AND disrespected. ---///Fit &Style In the world of clothing, fit is King. And Sarar's shirts fit like King Goffrey Baratheon (heyooo GOT Fans!). But seriously -- normally I'm straggling between a trim/regular cut and even their "slimmest cut" still had about an extra foot at the waist line. Definitely expect to tack on $20 to any shirt you buy unless you plan to use their shirts as a tent cover. Suits were slightly better. Aggressively "european." High taper-- high armholes. Not too shabby fit-wise. Styling would be best described as conservative modern. They had a variety of patterns and fabrics on shirts, but their suits stayed pretty tame in the darker colors (think black, charcoal, and navy galore). ---///Quality --Suit I think for the price the suits here are double or triple what you would pay at any other department store. A plastic poly-blend (20% polyester, 80% wool) suit costs about $500 here. For the same price, you can get 3/4 canvas Hickey Freeman 20 feet away at Nordie Rack. For a Super 120's (100% premium wool) suit is about $1200-$1800... you can literally start talking 2 made to measure suits or even entry level bespoke. Shirts had pretty decent quality... Thick MOP imitation buttons, good stitching... but pretty outlandish prices. $120 for a basic 2ply cotton shirt. Moreover, they do that annoying range sizing... i.e. 15/15.5 x 32/33 -- which means it never really fits anyone quite right. ---///Service The sales associate (Randy 10/17 Friday evening) displayed an extremely limited knowledge of men's clothing. The sales associate was also unprofessional, rude, uncomfortable, and just an overall unpleasant experience. Honestly, I can accept the fact that Sarar is below average in terms of value-- there was one other guy in the 1500 sq foot store thinking about buying something-- so clearly some less-discerning customers will buy from Sarar. But I can't get over poor service-- no matter what. All bets about the store aside, the employees have a duty to represent their company, and Sarar's did an absolutely abysmal job. The sales associate I spoke with absolutely did not know men's clothing or suits. Asked if he could point me out to a few wool suits, and he immediately grabbed the two shiniest polyester suits on the rack (a light-shiny blue, and a dark black). When I responded that those are clearly polyester, he assured me they were not. I pulled out a tag-- low and behold 20% polyester and 80% wool. I really don't think he even knew the materials were on a tag. He doubled back and said the "shine makes it luxury." I honestly shuddered thinking about all the individuals that this gentleman has given bad clothing advice to. I asked if he had some wool suits he could point me to, he gruffly replied "Nnahh man... our wool suits start at $1500. I don't think you want to ball like that" When I asked to try on a shirt, instead of allowing me to try on a shirt, the sales associate went to the back, got a shirt that had been opened already (in a completely different style, color, cuff type, and SIZE) and told me to "try on this one instead" ... "I don't want to have to unwrap a new one". The list goes on and on in unprofessional retail. I think the worst offense is this: I walked in at 7:00 pm on a Friday, but Randy was already in a hurry to close up shop. He had already locked the front door when I was walking in. (Even though their store closes at 8:00pm) Hope their management doesn't know that you close the store doors and lock the place down 30-40 minutes earlier each shift. =X Oops, This is clearly a sign of a dishonest retail employee. Not giving a new shirt = not having to rewrap clothing = less work for employee = poor customer experience. Closing shop early = turning away potential customers in exchange for more time off = stealing from the company. This is inexcusable. I hope management is aware. ---///Overal Overall the suits are about 100-200% marked-up from a comparable store -- which is fine. Everyone has their market segment they're trying to hit. All shots and the store aside-- those are just my opinions. But what really sets the below-average quality of Sarar apart are their poor sales associates. Clothes look incredible, service is freakishly friendly and up there with the best in the world. I trust them with my credit card and make orders on both the Men's and Women's (Ann Mashburn) for my wife whenever we need something and the service is seamless. I find the level of service at the DC store to be perfectly akin to their flagship store in Atlanta which now has an incredible coffee bar as well. I will be posting this same review to Ann Mashburn's site as well because they have done an amazing job serving the female side of my family. Beautiful clothes and AMAZING service. The main reason I was compelled to write a review now is because of an act of kindness which has transpired in the past week. My wife experienced a health issue in the past that has changed her physique in ways where not all the same clothes she used to wear will fit her and it's not easy for her to find outfits that suit her EXTREMELY well. She happened to try on a "sample" outfit not too long ago with which she absolutely fell in love. Knowing that it was a sample outfit and the fabric was no longer available, she left the store quite upset that she found something that really worked....but buying it wasn't an option. I spoke with the GM of the store, Keon, and one of my favorite salesmen, Conor, who initially didn't think it would be possible as they wouldn't have the sample from which others could try on for that size. When I visited the store last week, I curiously inquired again about whether there was any chance they may make an exception so that I could surprise my wife with an amazing gift. I know that the DC guys went beyond anything I would have ever expected as I received a call later that day where Conor informed me that they would be amenable to delivering the dress to my wife. It's difficult to find this level of a shop and group of folks who recognized how much this meant to me and my wife and went against there normal and very strict policies to make someone who has been through tough health issues incredibly happy. I don't think I can express how grateful I am to be able to shop at this store (because it's not cheap); however, the value of the clothes paired with the service is a bargain!

Saturday 6/25/22 I purchased a pair of denim online and paid for 2 day air... on Monday 6/27/22 I receive communication from their customer service team that it would ship out that day, then Tuesday morning 6/28/22 I see an email that I had been refunded due to the fact that they no longer have the size I purchased, and they accidentally sold the pair that was supposed to be mine. No other explanation given or accommodation did they make. I would've given one star but I do like the products they make...but wow the store staff and the back end staff are REALLY bad.... beware

I should have known what I was getting in to when I was asked twice to write a review before even getting my card charged for the rental, it was a precursor to how everything else went as if you have to beg for reviews your likely getting some poor ones. My main gripe with them is we went in for a fitting, the first guy measuring couldn't have cared less. When coming in to try on the rental pants were noticeably short, was told no problem was given a time to come back, I should have tried on again as the pins were still in them and the length was awful, my money is on the tailor never got around to it. Once actually in the event you realize it doesn't matter if it was thrifted or custom tailored if you're with good people you'll have fun. Moral of the story is be cautious if going to men's Wearhouse in the spring as the number of rentals vast and the amount of people working is not enough to give you your money's worth. If you go with men's Wearhouse you may end up paying full price to go over and AI retouch all my photos so my socks are not prominently featured in our photos On a positive note I think the one helpful person was named, Clearence, very nice and hospitable, everyone seems to be worn out (I wrote this before logging on to yelp, reading a review from 2013 stating that "they had three tailors on sight to make adjustments" was simply not my experience

They have been acquired by Nordstrom so they can tap onto a bigger reservoir; that doesn't mean that they have a big inventory in store. I have a pretty small and lean body so there were not many pieces for me to try on. However, they do try to mix and match and help them spice up your style. I'd recommend this place if you need a little hand with fashion.

I contacted DHL, then UPS, but was told to contact the merchant directly. I reached out to the store and the attendant apologized and we went over the address again. I asked him to confirm the address back to me multiple times. The package then shipped to the wrong address again. He has made two errors in the address and only corrected one, despite going over the address with me again the package failed to deliver. Customer service took over, and they said they would send an expedited package. They lost it and have not sent it yet. Used to like this brand but horrible shopping experience will never go back.

Well... the ozone from the furnace room disintegrated the soles on the brand new shoes and the soles came apart in chunks. Panic. So we look for shoe stores and Comfort One shoes up on Yelp. We had low expectations as military adaptable shoes are old Oxford types. But among the dozens of models of trendy, comfortable, and casual shoes, there were actually three models of oxfords. The attendant was superb. Patient and friendly. As expected, new European shoes are not cheap. But the value was tremendous. High quality, comfy and well fitting. We left quite happy. Excellent and friendly service and great value.
