Really fun place to walk around and explore! Eden Center has a huge variety of Asian food, drinks, bubble tea spots, fruit, plant shops, and lots of unique stores--you really get a little bit of everything. I got a fresh-squeezed orange juice from one of the shops and it was amazing--super fresh, all natural, and full of pulp. I also noticed a really nice plant shop that looked like it doubles as a florist. There's plenty of seating outside, which makes it great to grab food and relax on a nice day. Selection is great, and the experience overall is very lively and interesting. Prices are a little on the higher side, but still fair for the variety and quality you get. Eden Center in Falls Church, VA is the largest Vietnamese shopping complex in the US! I knew I had to visit after learning that there's a fully vegan Vietnamese restaurant here, Dieu Huong. Also got the best bánh mì I've ever had at Banh Mi Oi (the five-spice tofu one). So many other great stops including boba from TeaDM and egg tarts from The Beat. The fried tofu from Thanh Son and baked goods from Phuoc Loc, I found kind of underwhelming. Service was fine. Value was great at all the places. Pretty accessible by metro/bus. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Eden Center is such a gem to this area! They are so lively at all times of the day for obvious reasons. Although I have been here many times, I originally started off coming for bubble tea. I eventually ventured out and tried the restaurants and bakeries. They have a variety of Asian bakeries, restaurants, even a large Asian grocery store and a K-beauty shop. Some of the restaurants include (but not limited to): Huong Viet, Hoang Viet, Bánh Mì Oi, Happy Lamb Hot Pot, etc. Some of the places are a combination of bakery and store. The drink spots include TeaDM, One Tea House, etc. I usually frequent Huong Viet for their crunchy noodles and shakey beef, Phuoc Loc Bakery for their fried goodies and any of the drink spots. Picked up some desserts to bring to a house visit at Kim Phung. I grabbed a boba drink at Tea DM. We did get here a little later than planned, so missed out on a banh mi spot we wanted to visit. It was about to close, so we decided to head somewhere else away from the plaza / shopping center. I would have loved to explore this Vietnamese strip mall more, but we left the Baltimore area a little later than planned. And we hit traffic. Eden Center is a cute plaza/area to get a taste of Vietnamese culture. My family enjoyed coming here to try some of the bakeries, desserts, and restaurants in this area. I grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and my family would go out to Eden to have lunch and/or dinner. Now that my parents are older and my mom doesn't cook as often, my parents go every weekend to buy food for the week so she doesn't have to cook. I accompanied them this weekend for lunch at Banh Cuon Thanh Long. When we were done with lunch, my mom walked around and purchased food for my parents for the week for dinner. The only thing new that stood out to me from years ago when I came, was that they have a few tents in the parking lot that now have outdoor patio seating, which is new from a few years ago when I was there. That's convenient for those bakeries that don't have seating area. The Center is definitely fun and convenient to eat and shop all in one stop. The only downside is the commute from Maryland to Virginia, which sucks and that parking can get really crowded on the weekends. I used to go to Eden Center every month when I lived in DC. Now I'm in NYC, and there just isn't anything close! My husband and I still go every time we're in the area. Here's our routine: - Start with lunch at Huong Viet: My go-to's are beef pho or bun, my husband likes the bun bo hue. - Next up, grab banh mi's a few doors down at Huong Binh. I like the grilled pork, my husband goes for the combination. We used to take these home and have them for dinner later. - Now onwards to Phuoc Loc for the best Vietnamese iced coffee I've ever had and some banh cam (sesame balls filled with mung bean). - Next is Thanh Son Tofu for xoi (sticky rice). Favorites are coconut (bright green) and corn. - Time for grocery shopping! Good Fortune has amazing produce, seafood, and meat. A great and authentic mostly Vietnamese shopping center. However, I personally think they could do better at making it even more authentic. For example, the supermarket has a lot of Vietnamese products, but it also has a lot of products that are not Asian at all. I do love this place, though, and the banh mi sandwiches that are served in many of the restaurants. What a neat place this is. Right on the boundary of Falls Church, Arlington and Fairfax Counties. This is a Vietnamese Mecca of sorts. Best Pho in the DC region. There are overwhelming amount of choices. So far all the restaurants here, have been delicious and to be recommended. Love the Vietnamese signs and entrances. There are phenomenal cultural events here often. Also it's a safe area to dine and shop. The grocery store here is a sight to behold. Parking is the only challenge. This is a busy area, especially on the weekends. Yet visit it as every trip has been fun. read more

The roast duck in the Eden Center is not good. They help me cut it, but I received just all bones. It didn't have meat on it. It doesn't have legs, wings include. I think they keep the legs. Also the cost is very high. It is cost for $48. Hence, the meat is not new, like making from yesterday. read more

1/22/23 Today we are celebrating Asian New Year. The Chinese aren't the only ones to celebrate the Lunar New Year. This year's celebration was bigger than it normally. Now because of The Coronavirus 19 Outbreak, the celebration of fireworks and many other get together celebrations were put on hold. After two years of non celebrating The Lunar New Year, at The Eden Center is going to happen this time around. Commence au festival! Et de très grande manière. (Started at the festival! And in a very big way) Big does not describe how crowded it truly was. The Eden Center, The parking lot across the street and The BJ's Wholesale parking lot got taken over for this Lunar New Year event. I got to see a number of people who were in interracial relationships. Something I love seeing. On top of this, I if you did not have the patience while waiting for a parking spot, you were bound to get into a car accident or a fight with someone else. I did see a car accident in the Parking Lot of Eden Center and this is not the way to kick off your Lunar New Year. I found a section in the parking lot to park and wait for a chance to get a parking spot. It took time, but my wife and I got a spot. From this point on, we walked over to were the music and dancing were taking place. From what I saw, it looked like some celebrities were there, but I was not familiar with who they were. The place was very packed, but I did get to see women wearing dress boots. I also saw several people doing the Dancing Dragons. It is better known as The Dragon Dance. This was followed up by a series of loud pops. The several long rolls of firecrackers went off again and again to a cheering crowd. I could help be think of the person or persons who are going to have cleaning up the mess. The clean up should take a couple hours. When we went indoors, we heard the sounds of The Dancing Dragons moving around the indoor shops. Store owners were getting their pictures taken with The Dancing Dragons. Tip money was given to the dragon who swallowed it cheerfully. No human beings lost any limbs to these dance happy dragons. Yes sir, people had a blast with this Lumar New Year. It is the first one I have been to and I enjoyed meeting a friend who works at Organic Nail Bar. I have written a review on this place and they take care of you. Where to start? I stumbled onto this place one night visiting DC and was overwhelmed by what I saw here. Seeing more than a hundred Vietnamese shops, offices, and restaurants "under one roof" was mind-boggling to me. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been to many Vietnamese shops and restaurants in the South Bay, but at least an order of magnitude more businesses are here at the Eden Center. A post on Google says that every Vietnamese visiting the area comes to Eden Center, and I'd recommend anyone paying this place a visit. Even if there is nothing else, one can find a lot of authentic, awesome Vietnamese food here. Seeing the name Eden made me sad, for people who had to leave their homes permanently because of wars and conflicts. read more

This is the place for amazing Vietnamese choices. Keep them on your rotation for Vietnamese food (especially pho!). They also have good Asian and other food shopping. I've even got some plants from here. All great experiences Parking on the weekends is tough as they are super busy. Fun karaoke singer. ATMs. Lots of temporary outdoor covid seating, which probably explains the tight weekend parking. Definitely give them a try. Also, very much worse a cross town drive. read more

Eden center is the viet hub on the east coast. There are grocery store, restaurants, bakery,tax services, and more in this shopping center. There is a big parking lot but some drivers are really bad and on special occasions like lunar new year then this placed is packed. At times there is always someone smoking outside and inside some stores and it stinks. Public bathroom in here are gross. I've been agonizing about what business for which to write my 1000th review on Yelp -- a serious milestone I've been working towards for the past 7.5 years, since I began working as your Yelp Northern VA Community Manager! Ultimately, after much inner-debate, I decided I had to bring it back to one of the parts of Northern VA that makes it so great: Eden Center. Eden Center is a Northern Virginia institution. A bustling hub of Vietnamese and other Asian businesses, it's the place to go if you're looking for real, authentic bánh mi, bánh xèo, rice paper rolls, boba, if you need an Asian grocery store, or if you're craving hot pot & Korean BBQ. There are also boutiques, salons, and more -- there's really a spot for everything here! This place can get pretty nutty in terms of being crowded and the parking lot being a bit of a mess on the weekends, but at this point I just chalk it up to being part of the experience. Eden Center as a whole has made a lot of good adjustments in light of the pandemic -- lots of additional outdoor seating (that's covered!) has been added to the parking lot, and a majority of these spots offer contactless ordering / easy pickup / delivery, etc. Eden Center can be a little bit overwhelming in terms of options if you're not a frequent visitor, so my best recommendation is to peruse Yelp for some guidance. My most-frequented spots are TeaDM, KungFu Tea, and ViVi for bubble tea (and the latter for some really great Taiwanese popcorn chicken, too!), Rice Paper for a real hearty meal, FirePan for a great KBBQ experience, banh mi from the Nhu Lan Sandwich Shop, or an assortment of delicious ready-made takeout options from Thanh Son Tofu. You pretty much can't go wrong though when it comes to the food here -- just be brave, pick a place, and bon appetit! read more
