The refried beans reallllly tasted like lard. Like liquid. I tried to avoid them. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. Worst bathroom I have been in IN MY LIFE. The women's toilet had NO SEAT. What the hell. And there was zero toilet paper and garbage everywhere. Plus the door gets stuck easily so you can get locked in. Truly a nightmare. Go for soft serve margaritas, chips, and salsa. Use the bathroom before you go. The soft serve margs will honestly keep me coming back despite the rest.

We were visiting from California and decided to give Coa Mexican Eatery a try, and WOW they did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. In fact, it looked so appetizing that I completely forgot to take pictures before we started eating! Every dish exceeded our expectations. To top it all off, one of our servers named Laura surprised our daughter with a complimentary dessert, which completely made her day. Such a thoughtful gesture that truly shows how much they care about their guests. Seeing her smile was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal! Zitlaly our main server was absolutely sweet and informative! She answered all the questions we had and checked up on us consistently! Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. COA catered my wedding just a few weeks ago. They went above and beyond any expectation I had. Throughout the night I heard guests talking about how amazing the appetizers tasted and that carried throughout dinner. I've been asked by countless folks "who did your catering--it was the best wedding food I've ever had". I am so incredibly thankful for all the hard work the serving staff put into making the event so special. Vividiana did a fantastic job coordinating everything and didn't miss any details. I can't thank her and the crew enough.. truly was the best. Before we decided to book COA we went into their La Conner restaurant. They didn't disappoint there either! Mexican food? That would be a stretch. Noise so loud you could not carry on a conversation with others at the table. Menu said Taco, 2 with rice and beans $13 plus. Ok let's try that. The TACO arrived on the plate laying flat measured less than 3" in diameter with maybe a tablespoon of pulled pork in the center of it. There were 2. Both had not seen any heat nor had the rice or slightly cooked and cold white beans which would have been more appropriately served in some Greek restaurant. My plate was sent back to be warmed 3 times. Mexican food? Someone needs to take a trip south and see what Mexican food looks like. Maybe even taste some. You know what they say, problems seem less worrisome with good food. LaConnor is a fun town. Coa Mexican Eatery was a top recommendation both on Google and Yelp. I ordered- Chile relleno- top notch plate. Hands down the best relleno I have ever had. I so wanted to order another plate. Tasted so great. Quesadilla - it's a 3 cheese quesadilla. So filling and tasted good. Flan cake - I'm not a fan of desserts. My wife loved it though. Blue Margarita & cucumber margarita - they were strong and loved it. Highly recommend this place. My wife and I were told how good the food was at Coa so we tried it while we were in town. From the outside it's nothing fancy but the inside is clean and interesting décor. I had the Burrito Loco with shredded beef and my wife had the Burrito Chiquito with chicken. Both were excellent! The portions were generous and the flavors delicious.
