When we were getting our second fish, there was one beta in a small cup that was dead and moldy...I had to give the cup with the dead fish to the staff. Seems like they don't check on the fish like they should. I feel so bad for the fish there. I really hope the owner sees this and makes some changes. This makes me so sad. They have people working there that are clearly not educated enough to care for fish. Personally, I don't think this place should be selling any live animals as they don't take good care of them.

Quick & Easy Nail Trim for My Pups!…read more We brought our dogs to the grooming area at Petco because they were long overdue for a nail trim. We showed up a little before they opened, so there was already a small line waiting to get in. Once they opened the doors, some people went shopping while others (like us) headed straight for grooming. We didn't have an appointment, so I fully expected a bit of a wait. The team was moving at a good pace -- they checked in the appointment pups first, then got to us. I really appreciate having Petco nearby because: My dogs already have profiles in their system. The groomers are always friendly and patient. They're usually super quick -- my past visits, the dogs are done before I'm even finished checking out! One thing I love: you can add a tip right at the register. I never seem to have cash, so this is a big plus for me! This visit was on a Sunday, so it was definitely busy. Belle went first while I paid, and she was still getting pampered when I finished. Then it was Leia's turn. We'd had a puppy playdate right before, so I was hoping they'd be too tired to care about the paw-dicure. Belle was chill, but Leia was a little restless -- the groomer took her time, and it turned out great! When we got there our dog was happy wagging its tail and showed no sign of fear. Our dog was a rescue dog so we didn't know how she would react to grooming. I acknowledge he still needs training but he isn't even a year old yet and was discriminated because he is a pitbull. Also when the vets thought we couldn't hear them they talked to one another saying "this is why some dogs need to be euthanized". never bringing my dogs here again and suggest people with pitbulls do the same.
