I believed the work to be good but some simple caulking came un-done after on five or six months. They originally wanted photos which was curious since I do not want someone doing work in my house when there is none to be done. When I called to have them re-do it they also balked on doing any caulking. Moving on to a more qualified source. Again, Bob was a great guy but perhaps they use inferior products or just don't have the skills around that kind of job.

My first email had clearly stated that I needed some window cranks replaced, and that I had others that were tight but probably just needed some lubrication. I sent photographs, manufacturer information. I was told the person would stop at Home Depot to get the parts and would arrive at 9 AM. They said they'd just get extras and could return the rest or all of them if it was wrong. At about 9:15 she shows up, said that she was going to go to Home Depot after she figured out what was needed. I walked through the entire house with her, she took not a single note, but I was counting in my head. We needed 5 replacements. She said 4 (not even counting correctly, and also if she had known what she was doing would have realized she needed to know whether they were right or left mount), but she really thought the entire window needed to be replaced! She left for Home Depot and I'm there thinking - now I'm getting charged for a round trip to Home Depot because she didn't look at the pictures I sent? The next call I got was from the office saying this job was over their head (honestly it's not... I found a 4-minute YouTube video within 60 seconds of her leaving that explained how to do but this person was so clearly not an experienced handy person), and they gave me the name of a local window company. So I will get the work done, we're all calling it a wash, but I wasted a morning plus have waited a month. Ridiculous. I normally only say nice things, but I think the defensive voicemail they left saying that I hadn't explained what was needed made me want to tell someone about this experience. I went back to the first email I wrote, and it said, verbatim - "The windows in our house open outward with cranks, many of which are broken or non-functional. Can you fix something like this? There are quite a few of them. Let me know, please." We then had much back and forth with me sending the photos and descriptions I wrote about above. I did say later that I suspected some of them just needed lubrication, but since I had begun the inquiry with the clear statement they needed replacement, I did not repeat myself. Make sure to clarify the specific experience of the person they send. And make sure they understand what the job entails. Their "team" is not everyone shown on the website.

I had a full remodel done and Brian led the renovation. When something comes up, he actually thinks what would be best for me and will contact me to make sure things are good. For example, I went with scrap granite for the countertops (small condo) but the two small pieces on one side of the kitchen did not look like it matched the sink-side countertop (even though it was from the same slab, you know - it's granite). He worked with Front Range Stone to get those two replaced. He makes sure I am making right decisions like the direction of the tiles and hardwood floors. Like he just really cares! And so do the others - the crew who installed the bamboo hardwood floors did a fantastic job and Carlos installed all the tiles and bathroom vanity. Even when I panic because the dishwasher is leaking after install he came out to check it out (turns out it's just old and the rubber isn't rubbery anymore so time to replace). He just cares. And that is fantastic when working with contractors.

He sends 500 word emails without a single punctuation mark and terrible word structure to the point where it becomes hard to look at him in the face when you see him. The quality of the work is subpar. It takes you actually looking at the quality and pointing out issues for them to argue with you why it is any issue only to eventually fix it anyways. Some items that were known issues for months never got fixed. Overall, if I could rate this no stars I would. I have a lot more work I am planning for the summer, Lookout will not get a chance to quote it

We did a complete remodel and addition to our home that included adding a laundry room, mudroom, butlers pantry and creating a sunroom from our back patio. Shawn also tiled our existing bathroom and ran electrical all throughout our basement. He also added a gas line to our BBQ and electrical to our dog house and did some duct work in our basement for our new laundry room. When he completed our sunroom, he matched the stonework and siding to our existing home. What I appreciate most about Shawn is that he keeps us posted as the project moves forward and he wants us to sign off before moving on so that we are all on the same page. He truly cares about our satisfaction and if we are unhappy with something, he works with us to try and correct the issue. He's very easy to talk to and is a genuinely nice guy. Shawn is also very affordable. He's honest about his pricing and doesn't have any hidden costs. If we want to add something more than we discuss it before moving forward. We always knew where we stood with costs and he doesn't gouge pricing and stays true to his quotes. Shawn also stands behind his work. We had a split unit installed in our sunroom for AC & heating and the unit that my husband and I ordered was not the best quality. Turns out the parts are of poor quality and the unit started leaking water. We called Shawn since he installed it and came back to correct the problem at no cost. We've really struggled to find honest contractors through the years. We are truly grateful to feel like we found someone in Shawn that we can trust and is capable of doing a grand scope of projects for a reasonable price. We plan to use Guerreros Contracting for all our future projects and we highly recommend Shawn and his company.

Last week my daughter smelled gas and shut it off. When I got home I used my leak detector and got an alarm on the fireplace. I do a lot of home repairs but I don't mess with anything gas so I went to the Lennox web site and contacted the two local dealers for service. NYNEX declined stating that they didn't work on fireplaces so I made an appointment with Summit Heating from Parker. The experience with Summit was very bad and essentially they left without fixing anything. I declined to pay as well. Several other businesses in Denver and Colorado Springs were contacted and all said they couldn't show up until January. Given that we absolutely NEED the fireplace I kept shopping and found Guerreros on Yelp. Their technician, I believe it was Jordan, arrived on time this afternoon and got right to work. He removed the old blower, installed the new blower and troubleshot the gas leak. He was stunned that Summit had missed a pinhole leak in the appliance gas supply line. It was so bad you could hear the outgassing and see the leak. See photos. He installed a new line and then cleaned the burner, amended the venting, tuned it and cleaned the glass. All and all he took about an hour to resolve all our issues. My home is warm again and we are very pleased to have found them and give them our highest recommendation.

Instead of parking responsibly near their job site, they repeatedly block neighbors' driveways--sometimes up to five trucks at once. They leave junk scattered all over the neighborhood and have blocked elderly and disabled neighbors from reasonable access to their homes. When asked politely to move their vehicles, they respond with mockery rather than respect. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before hiring this company.

They wanted to book an in-person quote ASAP. I needed an electrical outlet for a clothes dryer updated to modern specs. They came out and gave me the below quote. I had researched online before that this job was normally in the $100s range, not $1000s. I was suspicious and regularly get several quotes for jobs like this. I told them that I will have a couple more people out for a quote on the job. They said okay, we will give you a 15% discount if you don't talk to anyone else and do the job right now. This was still $1,268. Keep in mind this was the business manager, not the electrician who was quoting. I could tell the electrician felt uncomfortable and never offered input on the quote. I ended up saying no, that is not my personal policy to just go off of one quote and had them leave. I had a couple other quotes come in from other companies and they were all around $300-$500. I showed them this quote and what ROCC proposed and they all laughed and said ROCC was trying to rip me off. I would not recommend this company.
