Ray, the owner, was fantastic to work with--always professional, attentive, and committed to making sure everything was perfect. I wish our house was built as well as this deck! Not only is it beautiful with precision edges and corners, the deck looks like it was built with the house. Not 35 years after the original deck was built. They reinforced and replaced the rotted deck where needed and waterproofed and seal wrapped the entire sub structure of the deck. We replaced the entire deck surface with Trex and couldn't be happier. The workmanship of All Pro Decking was second to none. They wrapped every edge, made it look unbelievable, and perfectly matched every single nook and cranny on a completely custom house and deck. From shaping the material around every stone pillar to raising the entire structure to make the Trex completely line up with the redwood being replaced, the deck fits the house and all it's complex areas better than the original deck. It is perfect. Many of my friends and family have commented on how great of a job they did. My deck is 4500 s.f. with a staircase walkway down to my dock landing and actual dock in the water. I mention this because they can clearly do any job, any size. The construction and design with the two tones is top notch. Looks very clean and classy. Regardless, many people build decks, I am sure of it that most if not all of them don't build them as nicely as All Pro does. I did a great amount of research since it was such a massive and expensive job with tons of detail and specialized work. They really proved my choice right. I couldn't be happier with their work. They were also very competitive. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Denver Decks just completed the work on our new deck. From the very start to the finish the…read moreproject has been great. The new deck replaced an old wooden deck that had seen it's better days. The understructure of the old deck was beginning to fail and the understructure supports the roof that covers most of the deck. Before hiring Denver Decks to do the job we used AI to recommend good deck companies in the Denver area. We contacted four companies, three responded and Denver Decks was one of those three. Our deck is 17' x 20' and the estimates to do the job were similar. We were promptly contacted and set up a meeting with Paul Koehn from Denver Decks. We met with Paul and quickly realized that he was much more that just a salesman for the company. He had built many decks before moving into sales so his knowledge of what is needed for a new deck was extensive, readily available, and we actually enjoyed discussing our project with him. Paul also indicated that Denver Decks always complies with the codes and permit process that exists for such projects in Denver. One of the companies that we contacted said that they do not pull permits for work in Denver and if something goes wrong during the process it would be our fault! Paul had lots of photos of other projects that Denver Decks had completed. The photo collection was extensive, well organized, and included pictures of stairs, railings, deck surfaces and lights that have been used in other projects. It really made it easier for us to decide what we wanted for our deck. After deciding on what we wanted for our deck the deconstruction of the old deck began and we got to meet/talk with Jay (project manager), Mike (site manager) and Jim, the craftsman for our deck. The communication throughout the project was great! The roof, that covered most of the 17'x20' deck, was supported by three 4"x4" posts that were set upon the deck surface that was supported by two 2"x8" boards on edge. I was very nervous that the aging understructure might fail and drop the roof onto the deck. Denver Decks installed 3 caissons to support the new 6"x6" posts that would now support the roof and 3 added caissons to support the outer edge of the deck. Each cement caisson was 19" in diameter and 36" deep. My worries about the roof falling ceased to exist! After the old deck was removed Jim began to build the new deck. I do not have words that can adequately express how impressed we were with the craftsmanship, construction knowledge and care that Jim displayed in building our deck. The skill that he displayed in all aspects of the construction were amazing and the best that I've ever witnessed in all of the projects that I've ever hired or been around. He built our deck the way that I would've built it if I had his knowledge, skill, equipment and his many years of construction experience! Thank you Jim! Such decks are not cheap and the price for Denver Decks to do the job was similar to that of the company that said they would not pull permits! Building a deck is one of those many situations in life where you truly do, "get what you paid for" and we didn't pay a cent until the job was finished to our satisfaction. Apologies for such a long review but a short review just would not do in this case. Denver Decks did a great job for us and we wholeheartedly recommend them for your deck. They can add us to their lengthy list of references who will be glad to discuss Denver Decks with you for your project! Thank you Denver Decks for a job well done!

After three days I emailed and did get an email response right away, which was that "We are booked out for estimates for a couple weeks." After another month I still haven't heard from them.

We knew it was an early 80's build, over 300 sq ft, and looked sturdy enough, but certainly wasn't the greatest construction. Over the years we patched it up ourselves, but it became obvious this winter that it needed some expert work. We reached out to a few deck companies to see what could be done to fix it within our budget. Ironwood was the most prompt response we received. After informing them that I am immunocompromised, they offered to give us an estimate via email to reduce contact. While we had hoped the deck could be fixed, Wagner made us aware that, while they would be happy to patch the deck for a few years of additional service, it was not built to the appropriate safety standards and that replacement was a better option. They also agreed to rush along our project as they were worried about the stability of the deck, seeing issues we had no idea even existed that made it demonstrably more dangerous for our family than we'd thought. The process moved very quickly after we signed the contract. They brought samples and left them at our door, measured the deck without contact, and were always prompt and thorough in responding to emails. They showed up every morning at 7, and completed the deck within 2 weeks. They were not only exceptionally respectful and kind to the adults, but they-Frank, in particular-made an effort to speak to my kids every time they saw them. While we could have gone with a fix, we are incredibly happy with having had a new deck put in, instead. Although we did receive less-expensive estimates, Ironwood's build quality is above and beyond what we could have ever hoped for. I'm pretty sure we could host a party for elephants on there and it would hold up just fine. I can not recommend Ironwood enough.

Cesar showed me that the drain pan was rusting out, and there was no water damage under the shower floor. he returned the next day and completed the work, and actually put things back together better than the original builders. the bill was more than reasonable and we are quite pleased with the courtesy that was shown to us, the manner in which they left the bathroom when they finished, both for the day and the task itself, it was IMMACULATE, no clean-up left for us to do. although i hate to do it, i would recommend Cesar and his crew to any homeowner like me, who lacks the necessary skills to do much more than changing a light-bulb. all in all, we will be calling them again, when we need more work done around the house.
