The other companies had automated responses and said they would give quotes at next business day. He personally came over the same day and started work within 2 days. We needed all the painting done with in a week before move in. The quality of work was top notch. Eduardo was so careful with taping and prepping. The work was completed with ZERO issues. Rafael was always available and responded immediately. After the work was done, he kept checking to see how things were and if we needed anything that wasn't satisfactory. Their work ethic and quality were impressive and I will use them any time I need work. Will have them do our deck. Highly recommend them! Thank you, Rafael and Eduardo, appreciate the care hard work.

All other things being equal (which actually was not the case with the bids) I liked supporting a local small business. Rafael was responsive via email and text. He made some adjustments to the initial bid after I changed my mind on some smaller items. We had all of the exterior trim on the house painted and almost all of the interior rooms. The crew was on time every morning and finished ahead of schedule. They took care taping and covering to prep the painting areas. The crew did miss one section of the living room wall above the windows, and I didn't catch it during the final walkthrough. I texted Rafael expecting him to say the work was finished as of the walkthrough. But no! He sent someone to finish it the very next morning. I was thrilled. Palmira was a great company to work with. Support local and give them your business.

The other company working on my land stacked these pieces carefully in the street for hauling. The crew doesn't use tools for measuring, cutting or alignment. Cuts look like they were made with a butter knife. Heights were unmeasured and uneven. Basic fence construction tenets (adding a cross bar to prevent bowing) were not followed. The two gates drag on the ground. Odd placements of random pieces of wood gave a haphazard look to the work. While the individual people are pleasant, the work is not professionally done. Of most concern, the owners are either unaware or unconcerned about this. Ultimately, it is their responsibility to oversee the work, coach and develop their employees. The owners were on site for the work, so again, very disturbing that they would accept the quality as being passable. After multiple requests to right the situation, I was told the fence is done and any further work would be at my cost. My experience mirrors other reviews posted about Schwabees. I ended up paying another company to fix the work. I am very pleased with the corrections the other company was able to make and can now put this (expensive) chapter behind me. Schwabee's was unimpressive on all counts.

We called Decks By Caio and Wagner came out immediately to give us a reasonable quote. We really wanted to have a full redwood deck since that was what we were used to having and loved the feeling and look of wood. To our delight, Wagner made that happen for us. We had certain specifications we wanted for the deck, and again that was no problem for Wagner and his team. Throughout the entire process, there was direct and clear communication between the foreman Frank, Diiego our builder, and the whole Decks By Caio team. They arrived when they said they would arrive, and when they left each night, Diiego cleaned the work area so it was not a hazard for us or our dogs. When building the deck, Diiego made sure that the patterns on the wood flowed to produce a beautiful visual to the eye. From start to finish, working with Decks By Caio was a joy. I would highly recommend them if you're looking to replace or build a new patio.

We can't recommend them highly enough…read more We own a 50 year old home in the country, with an existing large (40'x13') deck in back above a walk-out basement and patio (the deck is elevated about 8 feet). The joists were starting to rot, so we knew it was time to replace it. After interviewing several builders, we settled on Decks by Caio. He walked us through the various options and some changes we'd like to make. We decided the new deck would be slightly larger (44'x14') to accommodate stairs at one end plus a long ADA-style ramp at the other running along the side of the house. We chose TimberTech PVC decking, which is attractive, durable, and highly fire resistant (a big deal out here) in a simple two-tone "picture frame" style, which looks gorgeous. Underneath, the decking is supported by steel joists atop some really beefy yellow cedar engineered beams. The difference in quality between the old deck and the new is night and day. If that was all I was judging on, this would still be a rave review. But, as I alluded to, there were some surprises along the way. The first was that the primary decking color we'd chosen was discontinued at just about the time we chose it. But Wagner was able to locate and obtain enough to complete our project, buying it ahead of time even though our project wasn't scheduled to be built for a couple of months. Another was that it was irrigation season here, which raises the groundwater level and caused the holes dug for the caissons to fill up with water. We had to wait a few weeks for the water level to subside before we could pour, and Wagner's team took additional precautions by adding a water barrier to help protect them The biggest surprise had nothing to do with the deck at all. Turns out that decades ago a previous owner had built an unpermitted addition to the house. We didn't know it, but the county spotted it when Wagner went to get the deck permit, and insisted on it being remedied. Wagner was able to get permission to start the deck while we went through the "as built" permit process for the old addition. He was a huge help, and even got his structural engineer to do the engineering assessment they required. There were enough issues with the addition that while the deck itself was finished in a matter of weeks, passing all the inspections too almost a year. Again, this had nothing to do with Decks by Caio - in fact, we had multiple inspectors compliment us on the deck while still finding "one more thing" that needed to be fixed in the old addition. It was a bit maddening, but Wagner and his team handled it all with patience, professionalism, and humor. The good news is that this means we've had nearly a year of enjoying the new deck before writing this review. It's still terrific, and once our budget allows, we are looking forward to working with Decks by Caio again to add a pergola and extend the patio as well.

He took the time to understand our vision, offered creative solutions along the way, and consistently delivered on every commitment. Our project included a new ipe deck, a rebuilt upper patio, installation of a large sliding glass door, modifications to our existing barbecue area to accommodate the new elevation, and renovations to our fireplace. Adrian approached every phase of the project with exceptional craftsmanship, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail. He communicated with us throughout the process, kept us informed every step of the way, never cut corners, and took great pride in the quality of his work. The finished result exceeded our expectations and transformed our outdoor space into a beautiful extension of our home that we look forward to enjoying for many years to come. We especially appreciated how seamlessly Adrian coordinated with our interior flooring contractor to ensure the installation of the new sliding door and hardwood flooring came together perfectly. (A quick shout-out to Randy, Michelle and the amazing team at Custom Flooring Specialists for working together so seamlessly.) We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Adrian and Trinity Outdoor Design. It's rare to find a contractor with this level of talent, integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. Thank you, Adrian, and the entire Trinity Outdoor Design team for your hard work and dedication. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and wholeheartedly recommend Trinity Outdoor Design to anyone looking for exceptional craftsmanship, outstanding communication, and a contractor who truly cares about delivering an exceptional finished product.

Trinity's bid wasn't the cheapest, but their reputation and communication made me much more confident in the investment, and I'm glad I chose them over the cheaper options. I highly value communication in a job like this, and Adrian exceeded all my expectations. He talked me through all the options, and shared regular updates about the start date and what to expect. Antonio did a great job knocking out the work, and the end result looks perfect! I would certainly recommend Trinity to anyone, and I'll be contacting them again when I'm ready to redo my deck and patio!

He was pleasant and friendly and convinced me that his teammates did excellent work, but...marketing people sometimes spin fancy words. That's why they're good at what they do. But...Dan's teammates were NOT what he promised. I won't go into excruciating detail about all the ups and downs of the L-O-N-G process, but suffice it to say: we contracted with them in July for an October start (which was bad enough, but we knew about COVID-related delays so we were ok with that.) BUT...November came and went with no word from anyone. When I called to follow up, the Foreman acted like a whiney baby, making excuses about *how hard his job was!* - and...there were so many typos in his text, I could barely read it! Totally unprofessional on both counts. This went on a few more times: I followed up, and they made excuses for the delay. Finally, just before Christmas, they dropped off the materials at our house. We thought, "Finally!" But it was another three weeks before the crew showed up. And...when they finally did, *they had no idea* of the scope of the project! They didn't have specs, they didn't have the jackhammer they needed to remove the old concrete, and the didn't have the industrial dumpster needed to haul away the debris!! The crew left that morning, without saying a word. Just disappeared. When I called the Foreman again, another lame excuse. More delays. Early in the process, I asked Dan for his recommendations for a concrete contractor for after the deck was done. (We needed new sidewalks around the new deck.) He referred me to a guy named Eddie. Eddie made a meet-up appointment with me for an evening in September. I left work early to get there by 4:30 to accommodate his schedule, and he called me 10 minutes before I got home to ask if he could come the next night instead. I agreed. The next night? He never called, and he never showed up. Never heard from him again. By the time they finally finished the deck *at the end of January,* it was too cold and snowy for the new concrete contractor we hired to pour the new sidewalk we need, so, ever since, we haven't been able to use our front door. In and out through the garage only. When I suggested a discount on the project from TNT due to their company's several errors, poor communication, and three month delay in completing the job, they said no. Can't do that. Really...can't??? So I immediately knew my only recourse was writing a cautionary review. Note: the deck itself looks nice. But the ridiculous clown show of ineptitude we had to deal with makes me confident that ANY other decking company would have been a better choice.
