We had Bunn & Sons do a major addition to our house... a main-floor mother-in-law suite including a…read morehandicapped accessible bathroom and walk-in closet as well as a reconfiguration of our garage to keep the 3-car capability. It was a very good experience. The Bunn & Sons crew is very cleanly. They clean up every day. We were given progress pictures every day. The online project schedule (5 months) was kept current, and while some things moved around a bit, as should be expected, the end date actually moved in. Creating a plan, a detailed plan for such a large project takes a great deal of work. It did not come free, but in our view, the old adage of "You get what you pay for" holds true. We wanted confidence in the estimate that was provided, and that is exactly what we got. This was a huge project for us, and we could not have Bunn & Sons coming back telling us that framing, plumbing, flooring, roofing, demolition, foundation concrete, electrical, etc would cost more than they estimated. The project was completed on budget, a week early and with excellent quality, and it looks like it was always part of the house rather than an addition that sticks out like a sore thumb. Beyond the final pieces being beautiful and completed in a timely basis, Brian was super easy to work with. Brian went the extra mile to source an excellent burner and cool lava rocks for the firepit too (visiting a supplier in Denver, picking it up, going back to pick up lava rocks, etc.) Brian was also knowledgable on what types of brackets were required for the heavy duty countertop to hang floating off the deck, and made some design recommendations (thicker front edge) that really made the difference in the finished look. I also saw several of Brian's concrete sinks in his studio - stunning - pictures while great can't do them justice. I highly recommend Greyscape Studio for any of your concrete needs.

He seemed attentive and the next steps were to have him go to the house to measure and preview things. I never heard from him again. His office did call to let me know that they were going to go to the house and after they had been there to measure I never heard back from them in any shape or form. Totally ghosted me and I had several large projects on my list that I thought would be right up their alley. No worries. I found another company and things went smoothly and I have several projects scheduled and materials already secured and purchased. Silver lining that they never called back, but totally unprofessional. I found it really odd that the owner of the company would not email, or text me after a 30 minute project review but have the company rep communicate with me instead. That is a first for me and I have done dozens of jobs on multiple rentals and primary residences over the years.
