Then they expect you to wait a week for an appointment to open up while your kids doctor is waiting on results. Want to speak to someone in person? No one is behind the front desk. The woman who drew blood was very nice and endearing to say the least. It's usually a tough time to draw blood due to bp and veins so she was very gentle and apologetic (nothing her fault). The bad: Receptionist was unfriendly for someone who is the face of the office it was surprising. Tone was unpleasant not only to patients but also her coworkers. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what it was but it was very off putting. Checked in 30mins prior to our appointment and was called in 40mins later. I hope it was just an off day but my review is based on this experience.

VA has an Urgent Care alternative. I called Urgent Care Pros, and got in right away. I was processed through treatment with efficiency and care. UC Pros had my X-rays examined by their O.D. bone specialist right away. I sent their O.D. findings to the VA and got an appointment right away. My care by Janny and Michelle was excellent. The entire office staff is attentive and efficient. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I can tell and feel the blood guy annoyance and frustration. I understand my little one was yelling but for the same reason, i need someone to draw at home due to my little one health issues. I could feel his passive aggressiveness in the way he respond to me. He is not patient and is not friendly. If something like this triggers him, i can't even imagine when he draws. I wouldn't recommend to people or family who have children with health conditions or special needs. Or even toddlers in general who don't have special needs. From the beginning, the appointment felt rushed. He asked very few questions about my symptoms or medical history and didn't seem interested in understanding why I was there. Instead of having a conversation, he appeared eager to move on to the next patient. The most concerning part of the visit was when I brought up a medication that another physician had already discussed prescribing for me. He repeatedly stated that it was "only for men" and that it's not part of his practice to prescribe it to women. He did not explain why, or even discuss the evidence, or offer any alternative treatment options. After I asked for clarity since he seemed to have his mind made up before even a real discussion and told me to drink water? I left feeling dismissed rather than cared for. At one point, he even had to Google the condition or medication we were discussing, which did not inspire confidence. Rather than helping me find a covered treatment through Kaiser, his only suggestion was to look into a cosmetic treatment that would be an out-of-pocket expense. What bothered me most was that I never felt heard. He didn't ask follow-up questions, didn't explore my concerns, and didn't take the time to understand my health history. Now I have to schedule another appointment with a different physician and start the entire process over again. Every patient deserves to feel listened to and included in decisions about their care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I left feeling discouraged and unsupported. This has not been my experience with other physicians at this location but I think it's important as a woman to know that maybe this dr. Has biases that can affect the accuracy and effectiveness of our treatment. He is a new dr at this location and I think it's important to have honest feedback when it comes to people's health. I was long overdue since it had been over 2 years since my last exam. My appointment is with ELIZABETH KANG CHUNG OD, O.D. She was very sweet, kind and knowledgeable. I would never send a family member here…read more One of my residents was admitted for 11 days, and from the beginning I repeatedly informed multiple nurses that she had symptoms consistent with a UTI. Despite bringing my concerns to the attention of at least six different nurses, no one appeared to properly document the issue or initiate treatment. To make matters worse, her essential medication for tremors was discontinued during her stay. Neither the family nor our care team was notified of this change. As a result, her condition worsened significantly. Because of her tremors, she requires assistance with meals. On multiple occasions, meals were left for her without adequate support, leaving her unable to eat independently. Our caregivers had to come to the hospital in shifts just to ensure she was fed. After escalating my concerns, I spoke directly with Risk Management and the House Supervisor. While they stated they would investigate the situation, no one ever took accountability for the breakdowns in care or communicated any meaningful findings from their review. As someone responsible for coordinating care for vulnerable seniors, I found the lack of communication, documentation, and follow-through extremely concerning. Patients and families deserve better. I sincerely hope the hospital reviews its processes to ensure future patients do not experience similar gaps in care.
