Set an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time, received an email the day prior confirming my appointment only for me to get a message as I am outside the facility the morning of that my appointment has been canceled and the facility is closed for the day. I had a very disappointing experience with my recent visit. Although I arrived 10 minutes early, I waited an additional 30 minutes past my appointment time before being called. The first phlebotomist (Vietnamese lady) attempted to draw my blood four separate times, twice in my right arm and twice in my left. During two of those attempts, she adjusted the needle while it was still inside my arm, which was extremely painful. After four failed attempts, I requested a different phlebotomist. The second phlebotomist noticed the significant bruising on my left arm and asked how many times I had been stuck. When she asked the first phlebotomist, the first phlebotomist incorrectly stated she had only made two attempts, when she had actually made four. I chose not to correct her at the time because I didn't want to create a scene. This experience was unacceptable. I expect better training, professionalism, and honesty from the staff. read more

This place is always busy. I came by at almost 9 AM on a Friday because the last time I came here at 7:30 it was a no go. Line out the door and who wants to wait while they're fasting. They had a kiosk and I was able to check in the lady in the front refused to help me and insisted that I checked in on the kiosk. Fine. I will do what you ask. I imagine you're pretty busy and don't want to be bothered with people who are capable. I got a guaranteed line at 11:15 and when I arrive there was seen within 5 to 10 minutes. Had my blood work and was off. It is frustrating that these labs are so crazy busy that we have to come back another time. read more

Came this morning, first time to this location. Usually I go to the one in Los Alamitos. But I have noticed this one's closer to me so I decided to book here this time. Wow, big mistake. It was so busy. The place is small and we were standing according to the front office, They were shorthanded. It just took 30 minutes longer after my appointment to be seen. I still think that one of those Alamitos is way faster and slightly bigger. Not sure if I will come to this location again, but other than that service was good. read more

Hey Labcorp, I've been using the Cypress Labcorp for many years. I have tried with appointments booked online twice to get my 97 year old mothers labs done. Both times we showed up and it was closed. Why? I again have an appointment for early April, will it still be closed? Online says temporarily closed today but it still allows booking appointments. Very odd. read more

My favorite place, clean and quick, but randomly closes often even when you have an appointment which can be difficult when you have chemo treatments and your schedule is thrown off (mostly Fridays)- they do send a notice that they are closed and your appt. has been cancelled, but it is inconvenient to now have to find and wait at another Labcorp. read more

i am a 19 year old girl going to get blood for the first time by myself and all i have to say is how kind everyone was towards me. the receptionist who i didn't get her name but she was so kind and helpful. i got a new insurance but the process was really easy. then the lady who took my blood was named Roxanne was generally so kind and so supportive. she talked to me and honestly made me feel so comfortable. she is so passionate and you can tell she loves her job! if you have to go anywhere for sure go here, it's clean, small, and has nice staff! read more

The first time I went there months ago, it was disappointing, as the bathroom was dirty and messy. I've never seen that in a lab office before. I was wondering what happened that day. I just went back again the other day to bring my older mom, and the bathroom was very clean! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Some LabCorp locations accept walk ins, but this one requires an appointment. However, I think since it was not crowded that morning, they accepted my mom to come in. This was extremely critical, as it's been hard to get my mom out of the house without some effort and care. I highly recommend this lab. read more

We had a great experience at the LabCorp in Cypress. I brought my daughter in for a blood test at 7:30 am, hoping to get it done before school. We were not aware that we had to make an appointment, but, Leslie, the front desk nurse, was kind enough to make an exception and helped us check-in. We were then attended by the amazing and very experienced nurse, Roxanne, who made my very nervous daughter ( and myself) feel at ease with the process of getting blood drawn. I have never had so much fun getting my labs done... First, the two nurses (sorry I'm horrible with names) have the warmest smile and the best energy... I felt like I was being welcomed home by the way they greeted me and and took care of me... The location has a lot of parking and was extremely clean but the gems were the nurses... I have been to this location a few times. I like that it's literally APPOINTMENT ONLY; so there isn't a wait when you're entering the office. I had previously been there when the office wasn't on the first floor. So, they recently moved to the 1st floor and my first visit after the move, my results (that my doctor MUST HAVE in order to have more medication prescribed) are delayed? They should be in by July 1st, so now I have to wait without medication and PRAY that they will actually have the results to give my dr. 6/12-7/1 is way beyond 10 days! The staff was great; but I don't know why there is such a horrid delay when extra time was given already initially!! I'll change this review if my next visit my labs are processed better, timely. read more

I highly recommend this lab. I was in and out in literally five minutes. Unfortunately I didn't get the names of the two gentlemen that helped me, but I came here on Jan 20, 2022 at 8:05am. One guy was bald and the other guy was an older Asian man. Superb service! They took me in right away, looked up my information, ran my insurance, took four vials of blood, joked around with me and I was out. This place is not the most easiest to find or welcoming. The setup is unprofessional and disorganized. Once get off the elevator, you see that labcorp is in the same suite as some doctor office. You walk into a big waiting area and there are no signs to tell you where to go, so obviously you wait in line to ask the front desk. They ask what here for and the point you to the door with a very annoyed face, and this door is the same door the other patients use to see the doctor. Once you walk in you see 3 chairs and a labcorp tablet that is broken. There's no front desk or anyone to tell them your here for your appointment. There are no signs that say take a seat, wait here. or line up here and wait. Only sign they do have all over walls of the office is that they do not accept walk-ins, appointment only. While your standing waiting for some acknowledgement from someone, patients and medical staff are trying to walk by to the patient rooms. Finally one of the tech decides to come out and ask for your name and paperwork. They only have 2 seats for the blood work. So if you count those with little makeshift waiting area, then you have 5-6 spaces for people. I been to other labcorps and Quest Diagnostic locations around a 15 mile radius and this is probably the worst location I have ever had the misfortune to use. read more

Was this a dream? I set an easy online appointment. Arrived at a beautiful, new 2 story medical building with plenty of parking. Check-in less than 30 seconds,,,,, was then called for my draw before I barely sat down. Tech was kind, very professional, and courteous. Site was very clean. Several techs there were all testing patients and no one had to wait in waiting room. Very efficient. The complete opposite of the dumpster fire that is ANY Quest location - and believe me I have been to several over the last 10 years. Highly, highly recommend this Labcorp location. There used to be a receptionist that would check you in, but now there's a kiosk. It's easy to miss. I missed it when I walked in. I'm not sure when they switched... I haven't had blood work done for years. I've gotten blood work done at LabCorp twice now. The office is connected to my Doctor's office so it's very convenient. The technicians are nice and friendly. I felt a pinch when she stuck the needle in. She could tell I was nervous and talked to me about my weekend to get my mind off the needle in my arm. There was another gentleman in the room as well working on samples. We all talked for a bit while she filled the vials. After she was done she bandaged my arm. I did feel a little pain after, but nothing too substantial. I wish she told me how long to keep the bandage on. Not a big deal, but would have been nice. Overall, I thought my experience was okay. I'll probably be back for any of my blood work needs that are ordered from my doctor. read more

Never a wait and I'm a walk in I wish I could say this place SUCKS. Don't ever go cause I want this to myself. Who says this place is terrible never been to a BAD LAB. The one across from LaPalma Hospital is a easy 2hr wait. Every time I been to this Lab maybe 1 person ahead of me. The people are excellent and very friendly. Just amazing they complain. I have blood drawn 3-4x a year. Never a issue. Stop WHINING suck it up. This place is great. This is on WALKER & CERRITOS. Close to Costco I been here 14 times. I went to the labcorp in La Palma....a few days after I tried the Lakewood lab. Every time I go the place gets more crowded. The wait times were over an hour. There was nowhere to sit. People waiting were berating the staff. I don't think it's the fault of the staff that so many people were waiting. I sure don't want someone getting ready to stick a needle in me & draw my blood to rush. They seem to be doing the best they can. Still, no appts were available for weeks & even then nothing was available until after 3 p.m. I don't know what the problem is but I'm going to call my insurance provider and request an alternate lab. If my insurer declines, I'll solve it by changing insurers. Lots of ways to skin a cat. read more

So my daughter and I made appts to have our blood work done at the Cypress location. She is only 14, and this was her first time having it done. I on the other hand haven't had it done since my pregnancy, 15 years ago, and wasn't looking forward to it....bad experience previously. Our appts were mid afternoon because those were the first available. Now mind you, you have to fast, so we hadn't eaten since 5pm the previous night and had no idea how we would make it til then. I took a chance and called them at 10am to let them know my situation. We spoke to Peter. He was awesome. He said if we got there before 12 noon he would get us in and out. We did. When we got there he know it was us and took us right away. He is so great! Great personality!!!!! Funny!!!! And the best part, it didn't hurt at all! My daughter had a great experience (which was my biggest concern) and I no longer fear the needle....thanks to him. Of course now, I'm going to rely on him for all future blood work so I am going to pray he is available when the time comes. Thank you Peter!!! read more
