I then drove to Willow Gardens with the same request and they politely said no problem, we'll put your purchase off to the side and take as many trips as you need. The staff ( Sarah and another guy) are RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!! How on earth can you own a business open to the public and be so awful!! If you rely on your contractors for profit, then at least put up a sign stating so. Service: Poor service by Clovis Stone and Landscape Supply at counter where entire staff is not engaged with Customers. Entire team at Service desk were "heads down" focused on anything but the Customer. Clovis Stone and Landscape Supply Culture of Service misses the mark on many fronts. Product: Great assortment that is a repeatable business by another firm if they choose to carry manufactured stone. Weights and Measures: Have reported business to Better Business and Weights/Measures due to questionable business practices. Customers are expected to pay in full for product. During inspection of product, cracked/broken El Dorado stone was identified. Unacceptable. When asked if broken pieces could be exchanged for new unbroken units, staff said that they could not exchange per the owner. I had to take or ask for a refund for the entire amount. Additionally, they stated that they receive a 5% damage allowance that is not transferable to the Customer. So in essence you are paying for the damaged product and Clovis Stone and Landscape Supply damage allowance. read more

Terrible Service - I purchased over $11,000.00 worth of material from this Company - the service was horrible. The delivery dates for product changed without ANY notification from the manager Sarah. When I called the afternoon before the original delivery day to confirm the time for the a.m. next day delivery, not one individual was aware of the product or delivery and I was informed that Sarah was out of the office. We have dealt with her on 2 occasions and won't be dealing with her or this company on a 3rd occasion. The first was last year when we spent over $2000 on stone that we paid to have delivered on a certain day/time which they confirmed. We even called the day before to confirm which they said they had it down. Now comes the day of delivery and they go past their 2 hour window and when we call, they have no idea who we are. They had no copy of our receipt (because they work in the "stone" age and have everything on paper and not computers)..I had to send them a copy of our receipt showing we paid and that we had the date for the delivery listed and confirmed IN THEIR WRITING. They couldn't deliver that day and had to push it back 1 week. No apology; no sincerity in trying to make things right. Don't worry that we had to be inconvienced and move our scheduele around to fix theirs. Totally incompetent. We choose to use them again because we are in a bind and need top soil delivered and they are the only ones who can meet our deadline(or so we thought). What's delivered is a pile of BS rock and sand that we can't use. We call Sarah and she says the only way she can help is if we bring her the receipt because she doesn't have a copy and doesn't believe we bought it from them. My husband gets the receipt and goes down there to fix the situation and have the correct item delivered AND to place another $2,000 stone order. Sarah was combative and offered no way to fix the situation and told us TOUGH LUCK. She lost out on a $2,000 stone order because she wouldn't fix the company's $130.00 error in delivering rock/sand in lieu of top soil. STAY AWAY. The old owners would certainly boot their sorry ass son right out of not only out of their business, but right out of town as well. All the years of buying from Gerald and Wonda, the previous owners that have passed away, I have never seen a business run so professionally. ALL the staff WAS so pleasant to deal with. Funny, but I NEVER saw their sorry ass rude no good son, who is the new owner, NEVER did I see him there. The business was so pleasant to buy from. Now? Oh my God, it has steadily gone downhill since Gerald passed, Wonda retired then later passed and Rick and his sorry ass rude gang took over. They ALL are so rude and lack knowledge of the products they overcharge for. Rick runs a very crooked company that in my opinion won't be around much longer. How sad that is after all the hard work Gerald and Wonda put into making Clovis Stone a pleasant experience to buy all my materials from. My advise is shop somewhere else and save yourself from having to deal with the most rude and unprofessional people you will EVER meet. Since moving to Clovis 4 years ago I have been replacing my Fresno vendors with Clovis vendors. After using Rosenbaum's for years I decided to try Clovis Stone. Parked on the street and walked in, nobody to help me in the yard. Finally a young guy comes over to help me and said he wasn't sure they had what I needed, we walked into the office and received an abrupt..NO! we do not carry that. No effort to find a replacement product or even get out of their chairs. I spun on my heals walked out and took my business across town to Rosenbaum. RUN FROM THIS BUSINESS!! Would give them zero stars if I could. CANNOT BELIEVE THE RUN AROUND!! After selling me half an order with the promise to fill the second half, (told us they had a hundred on order!) I sit here with a mud hole in my backyard for six weeks entire project on hold!! Different story every time we talked to them!!! Multiple conversations with various people no one ever remembering my name and now that I am giving up on these pavers and want to return them to buy something else that matches (from them!!!!) they want to charge me a 25% restocking fee!!! Their excuse for it is people drive around with the pavers and they get damaged! But they delivered them to me on a pallet and here they sit!!! We are Local Pool builder & work with Clovis Stone for our business. The color picked out & the color delivered from the actual manufacturer was not the same color at all (40 feet to be exact.) Not only does Clovis Stone have an amazing selection of products targeting a huge range of projects... but their commitment to their customers is first rate! We struggled with selecting the right product for our project and they not only showed us samples in brochures and catalogs, but they sent us out to the warehouse to see actual products on the shelf. Bought a bunch of garden wall retaining wall blocks thinking this was the best place to go. I was at home depot a few days later and found the exact same ones for 30% cheaper with delivery cheaper too. I asked Clovis stone if they price matched and was told no. I'll do everything possible to go elsewhere first. They got me for about $300 more than home depot this time but I hope this helps other shoppers in the future. I was a bit hesitant when I enter the store because of just bad service from a totally different suppliers not to far from them. When I entered the show room I was greeted first off, told them what I needed and they wrote up the tag and added it up. For the exact same product and quantity it was $600.00 less then the other store. If you want great sevice, product in stock and the best price there is only one place to go to. One of the workers was with a customer trying to tell her what to write him up for and the office phone rings and answers it and doesn't apologize to worker or the customer.
