We did synthetic grass in the back and moved some of our smaller citrus trees to a better location (which I didn't even know was possible). Quality: The quality of the work is acceptable. Some of the stuff (360 sprinkler) stopped working but it's acceptable as I was promised 1 year of warranty post completion of the project. Service: Whats that!!!? Joseph promised one year of warranty and service after completion of the project. He never came back to complete the project. Communication: Again Joseph haven't answered my calls in almost an year, so that should answer the level of communication you can expect. Communication unresponsiveness started from Jospeh started when we paid him advance money. Joseph would look straight in your eyes, shake your hand and promise you that he will be back with his whole team the next day, but it will not happen. I was quoted $900 for a job that ended up costing me $350 with another local yard maintenance business for the EXACT same job. If he says he's going to install a certain product. Do your research on it. Google the product or visit home depot online to see how much the part costs. Based off the product price, you should be able to estimate about how much the entire cost should be (inc install). This is what I did and I knew I was getting gouged. I had some other stuff come up and I couldn't afford the job. But I got quoted elsewhere, the job got done and ended up saving literally $550. Im sure the guy does good work. Just be aware of price gouging.

I then messaged Doug on the Yelp platform and he responded within an hour. Ironically, right after he responded, one of the two I had text referred me to Doug. Yesterday he came out, gave me an estimate and today completed the work. The pool cut off a water pipe to my flower bed so Doug installed an automatic watering system, programmed it, showed me how to download and use the app to control it. He then was supposed to reroute two lines, but found three and set it up so that I have two drip lines and can add two more. He also showed me how they all functioned. Alfredo responded to my request for a quote quickly and he and his brother came to our house to look over the project. We have a small yard,so we had a hard time finding a landscaper to come out to give us a bid. Alfredo gave us a bid right then and there and also set up a date to start the work. An entire crew showed up on the day agreed upon. They had all the equipment and materials. They spent the entire day working, removing bushes, updating and rerouting our sprinklers and drip irrigation system. They brought in new plants, river rock, red humus and even built two garden boxes out of red wood. The crew was respectful of our property and our neighbors as well. We were pleasantly surprised when they chose to wrok until 8pm (on a very hot day) to complete the project. A few days later, I contacted Alfredo because our sprinkler clock was not working properly. He stopped by that day and replaced the clock. Now our new garden, plants and grass are being watered on schedule. We were pleased with the price, the work and the professionalism of this crew. We recommend them to anyone looking for landscape and maintenance work.

When I sent the pictures of my brass pipes to some contractors, they simply stopped responding. In comparison, Alfredo's crew came out, took a look, and then completed the work two days later with no fuss, and no muss. I am thankful for their dedication to getting the work finished, and making sure to keep me updated from day to day about the completion status of the work. The crew installed a key valve, since my old brass pipes were connected directly to my main water line without a shut off valve, they cut out the old brass pipes that had corroded and sealed themselves on to the PVC pipe for the sprinklers, they replaced all of the valves with new anti-siphon valves, and made sure all of them were in excellent working condition. Importantly, they also took the time to install new covers so my pipes will be protected from the sun. My sprinklers were a mess, and I now feel like they are ready to last me for years.
