I don't write bad reviews frequently but this work continues to upset me. Travis did a lot of work for me. Unfortunately, I am very unhappy with the way my trees were pruned. They were thinned out too much. The large elm tree in my backyard is my favorite. It was pruned so that it is asymmetrical - one side is much higher than the other. Branches on the lower side hang over my gutters so they will clog. There are now suckers all over the tree that have to be pruned. There is more I could say. The tree was beautiful, now it is not. Hopefully all the trees will fill out and then I will have to find another service to prune them correctly. read more

I was out of country working when my neighbor contacted me about a large eucalyptus branch that broke off of my tree near the road. It caught up in another tree, commonly known as a widow maker. Responsive and great value, a good start. All necessary precautions were taken with all the utility companies coming out to mark utility lines days prior to the removal. We selected Travis' Tree Service after some unreturned calls to other businesses. A Travis team member came to house and gave us a quote after reviewing the trees in our backyard. The Travis team came out one week later and got to work...fast! Santos' team was very professional, courteous, respectful of our property and our neighbors property and efficient. Santos listened to my concerns prior to starting and made sure the neighbors property was kept clean if any branches were to fall on their side. Today we're taking out 2 huge, 50 year old Ash trees from one of our rentals. I'm drinking coffee and bemoaning the death of these mature trees past their prime. I received a worried call from my 86 year old mom. A HUGE tree branch fell in her yard. Since COVID, she has not left her house. I drove to her house, took some pictures and started calling tree services that were recommended by friends. The first service was extremely high priced. The second was Travis'. When a tree falls late in the evening it absolutely makes a sound!! We had a large tree come crashing down just before 6pm. There was no way I could take care of it myself so I started looking here for help. Not only was Travis' one of the first to respond (less than 5 minutes), his fair quote beat many of the others. We recently hired Travis Tree Service to remove a few large dead branches from our 100-year-old Evergreen. The situation was urgent as one of the branches broke off and got wedged precariously in the below branches ... right above the sidewalk. I made a call last Saturday, and Travis picked up. The quote I requested was far more than what I could afford. I sent an email on September 12th, canceling the appointment that they had scheduled for October 23rd. Today I received a text saying they were coming out. Thinking that they had the wrong person, I texted back that they had the wrong number. A woman then called me and said that I had scheduled an appointment. When I said I didn't, she proceeded to rudely chastise me and argue with me for not getting back to them to cancel, basically calling me a liar. Found these guys through Google review and could not be happier with the job they did! We arranged a consultation visit and they were able to return in 2 days to get the job done! One of the trees in our front yard was leaning to the house since it was getting pushed by a smaller tree. The crew came prepared and completed the trim service in about 40 minutes (our estimate time was for 1-2 hours). On top of that, I asked if they could trim a couple of trees in the back, and they were very happy to do so. He gave a good deal on that quote as well. Everything done and all cleaned up messed free. The owner is every knowledgeable and was explaining to me about a couple of other trees that may need future pruning as well.
