Costing: Pablo provided an extremely aggressive quote! In some cases a few grand cheaper than competitors. Price agreement : Pablo is understanding and open to conversations about cost. The detailed itemized price proposal made it easy to inquire about things like types of turf and how to be more cost efficient with the amount of cement we wanted. Project Review: once we agreed on the project, Pablo and his dad came out one more time to make sure we were aligned on the project, which was helpful. Installation: We had a couple of days delay because of the recent rain but Pablo gave me a heads up the week before that they were going to keep an eye on the weather and would start as quickly as possible. The project itself took 4 days to complete for roughly 1300 sq feet of cement and 800 sq ft of turf. Pablo and his dad were both out here personally installing the concrete and turf. They even installed a door leading to my backyard at no additional cost. Result: we are extremely happy with the result and how great it makes my front and backyard look. Recently hired Pablo's to fix up our sprinkler systems in both front and back yards, which needed a lot of work to be usable again. They replaced all 5 of our sprinkler valves, all of the sprinkler heads, fixed the *many* breaks in the PVC pipes in the ground, and added a few new sprinklers in both yards to ensure proper spray coverage. I had already dug out a few of the broken pipe areas, but they were able to test and identify several others throughout the system. I am very impressed with their attention to detail and perseverance to see our complex (and at times, frustrating) project through without complaint or additions to the price. Furthermore, they used quality irrigation parts from reputable brands (Hunter, Toro, Rainbird) in their repairs, which I appreciated. We also had them replace our old concrete curbing in the front yard to redefine the transition from the lawn to the flowerbed, and we are very happy with how that turned out. While they were there pouring concrete, we added on some other concrete work that we wanted done and they took that on with no issue. Throughout the process of hiring them and the duration of the job, Pablo and his dad were very easy to work with, communicative, and efficient in their work, and their pricing was very reasonable. The landscaping of our backyard presented technical problems given that the yard had a sharp slope and a concrete foundation right under the fence. The concrete foundation prevented us from regrading all the way up to the fence. After consulting many landscapers the solution that presented itself was to build a 50 ft. retainer wall and plant bed in front of the whole back fence and to sod the remainder. After receiving many quotes (some higher, some lower than what Pablo offered) we decided to go with Pablo for two reasons: 1. the quality of his product as evidenced in his Yelp reviews; 2. I got a sense that he and his father had the technical competency to address the technical problems presented by our site. (I didn't feel as confident in some of the other landscapers who offered a lower quote but were slower to understand the technical problems.) The product speaks for itself. It is beautiful! We also added a touch on the wall by having it stamped, which he included in the base price, and adding a light gray color (920 slate) for a few hundred more dollars. 5 Stars for Pablo...I recently purchased a large Costco play center for my granddaughter. Within two months my granddaughter and my Blue Heeler pup turned my backyard into a muddy mess. My wife and I had some ideas which included artificial turf and concrete work. I contacted 5 contractor's and received a pretty wide range of estimates. I did my homework and spoke with all of them to see what their process was and materials being used. Pablo and his dad's price was fair and he sold me on his attention to detail and willingness to work on a final design. Once we chose Pablo he and his dad started within a week. What everyone else said was a 7 day project Pablo completed in 5 days. At the end Pablo did a major pruning of a very large tree, poured two concrete pads, installed deco drain with underground plumbing, and artificial turf. Pablo also fixed a rotting fence post, re-tooled my flower bed irrigation system, and laid bark throughout. Throughout the process Pablo kept me constantly updated provided me with photos at different stages and was flexible with a couple of LAST MINUTE tweaks to the plan my wife wanted. I will admit my handyman skills are limited so over the years I have hired several contractors for various repairs and home improvements. Without a doubt working with Pablo and his dad Ranks at the TOP of my list. Just minutes after work was completed, I began being harassed for immediate payment. I was helping my son due to a family emergency, and so I let them know that it wasn't going to be able to be immediate. They sent five messages within a 20-minute period. They over-charged for the work and parts and then harassed me for payment. Not good business. read more

After some miscommunication they came out and gave the best estimate by far. Driveway demo and forms were done in a day, but then the weather did not cooperate and we had to wait several days to poor. Work was done very well and the finished product likes very nice. Cleanup after the job is why this is not a 5 star review. Our green waste bin was filled with a lot of the debris that was supposed to be taken away on demo day. The bin is so heavy WM refused to pick it up and empty it. There is cement in the dirt and on the gutter in front of the new driveway and will take a lot more effort to remove. All in all I'm pleased with the project and will consider calling them again, but will be very specific about cleanup read more
