From the start, there was a complete lack of professional communication. No one ever called me. All communication was conducted through text messages, often lengthy and confusing. I was instructed to send photos of my fence and informed when the utility flags were placement along the fence line. Throughout the following week, I repeatedly received messages asking whether the flags had arrived and requesting photos of them in place. Each time, I explained that I had not received anything. In an effort to keep the project moving, I even offered to purchase the flags myself from a local Lowe's. They quickly agreed, at which point they finally admitted that they had never received confirmation from their own internal team that the flags had been shipped in the first place. The company then scheduled an installation date, only to change. Based on the original date they provided, I had already arranged time off from work. To make matters worse, the representative I was communicating with told me that I did not need as much time off because the project would only take one day. At the same time, they revealed that the utility appointment had never even been scheduled because the request was still sitting in a queue. This cause the project to be delayed even longer. It became increasingly clear that there was a serious breakdown in communication within the company. One department appeared to have no knowledge of what another was doing, leaving me to uncover mistakes and delays that should have been managed internally. All of these issues occurred within a span of approximately two weeks. After repeated miscommunication, scheduling changes, missed steps, and an inability to provide a reliable installation date, I lost confidence in the company's ability to complete the project. As a result, I ultimately canceled the job. This experience reflected a lack of organization, communication, and accountability from the very beginning. Based on my experience, I could not justify moving forward with the project.

The pool cut off a water pipe to my flower bed so Doug installed an automatic watering system, programmed it, showed me how to download and use the app to control it. He then was supposed to reroute two lines, but found three and set it up so that I have two drip lines and can add two more. He also showed me how they all functioned. I was quoted $900 for a job that ended up costing me $350 with another local yard maintenance business for the EXACT same job. If he says he's going to install a certain product. Do your research on it. Google the product or visit home depot online to see how much the part costs. Based off the product price, you should be able to estimate about how much the entire cost should be (inc install). This is what I did and I knew I was getting gouged. I had some other stuff come up and I couldn't afford the job. But I got quoted elsewhere, the job got done and ended up saving literally $550. Im sure the guy does good work. Just be aware of price gouging.
