I took my jeep in for an appointment that had to be made a few weeks in advance. As the second owner with warranty still in place they checked me in then gave me a call the following day to let me know they wouldn't do anything without the consent of the previous owner and that we both needed to call them together. After tracking previous owner down, we made the call. They wanted us to fill out paperwork that they were going to email us immediately. It still has not come. They said that once they received paperwork(that we still are waiting for) it will be about two weeks before we get approval for the shop to do the work. It's not enough that we have all of the insurance and registration for the vehicle. That being said, I went to go pick up Rubi, who will not have AC for a while now and was asked to pay for the diagnostic $225, that would be covered by the warranty. I asked the guy "so if I left her here for two weeks until you got this all worked out, I wouldn't have to pay anything?" He rudely and sarcastically stated, "yeah, we would charge you storage fees". Evidently customer service isn't at the top of their priority list. They are happy to sell a car but evidently not so much when something goes sideways. Extremely disappointed. read more

Took my vehicle in for some minor work, was verbally told an estimate, they sent me the estimate by text for approval, dummy me, assumed the estimate was what we discussed and approved the work with a "Y" response to the text. Lo and behold, they did a bait and switch and sent the text estimate for double of the estimate they verbally told me. Now I am liable for double the amount. PLEASE do not do business with this company!! And if you do, read all the fine print!! They are super sketchy. Will never do business with them again!!! I am not coming back here ever! We brought in our brand new Dodge Challenger because it was making a scratching noise when we make a left turn. They took in our car to look at it. We dropped it off at 8am. We did not get a call until 4 and we had to call to see the status on our car. They said we need to come pick it up within 30 minutes because they were closing soon. They also said they have to order a part which will come in about 1 week. I asked if they can leave the key with a staff member since I was in the middle of something. They said they guess they can... I ended up picking up my car within 30 minutes anyways because I didn't want to go through the trouble of them forgetting to give me my keys to front desk or someone in sales. (That has happened before, we had to wait 45 minutes for someone to come back from the service dept. to get our keys). About 6 days later, the part comes in we schedule another appointment. Get our car fixed within 4 hours... we go to the front desk to sign paperwork. The lady up front was soooo unfriendly and grumpy! (Maybe she had a bad day) Two days later the right side is now make a similar noise when we make a turn. We schedule another appointment. Again, they said we need to pick up our car and they have to order a part. I asked why didn't they check both side when we were just here about a week ago. They said because we only asked them to look at the left side. (I told them to look at both sides, but the left side was making a noise). Anyway, 5 days later the part comes in. Again, we go to the front to sign paperwork. Same lady still rude as ever!! (This is really her personality) she makes a "joke", "maybe your left back side will go out and maybe we will see you again soon." Really!? I don't recommend anyone buying a car or even getting service done here. They wasted so much of my time and customer service in the service dept. and front desk sucks!! So I walked in and to buy some parts today!! 8/2/2022 for my charger and while I'm looking through the items they have for sale the older tall parts guy in the with glasses disgustingly farts extremely loud like he was on the toilet. I understand sometimes they come out but this guy literally picked up his leg and ripped it totally sick and unprofessional. As a customer I don't want to see or smell or walk into that! Made me leave right away I hope management reads this it's not good for their business.!! I also feel bad for his co-workers that have no choice but to put up with it. Lindsy Paris, thank you for great service and stepping up top the plate when the other dodge dealership in Fresno failed miserably. 2014 Dodge Dart SXT, known problem with radio and odometer flashing. Went to Fresno Dodge first, horrible service ( see review) and decided to give Clovis Dodge a shot. Walked in Lindsay greeted me and even took the time to go out to my car to take a look. Already a winner. She got in me same day no appointment, told me would be a while but still, got me in. Got a ride home from their service and within 4 hours they fixed it. Needless to say had to go back twice but in the end, didn't charge me more than the original fee and was able to figure the problem, the radio. Told him I didn't want any additional insurance on my vehicle he lied through his teeth ended up financing my vehicle with tons of unwarranted cancelable. Might I add this is highly illegal, verbal confirmation of not selling you insurance and then sneaking it in and selling it to you anyways could very well find this man being sued. Have no idea how the dealership could let a person like this bring the rest of the show down. Sales guy was great, service so far great as well. Someone should really deal with this Tom/Tim guy. I called to set up a recall appointment and was put on hold twice for over 5 minutes each call. I then called back and was told I would receive a phone call back. I'll called back and they once again said they would call me back because they have one person designated to this recall. But I'm still waiting 3 days and 4 to 5 phone calls later. Have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I have literally passed the Fresno Ram Dealership to go out of my way to go to the Clovis Ram Dealership only because I am loyal. Brought the truck to the Clovis Ram dealership for four new tires. I have a good relationship with Good Guys around the corner from my house and could have just as easily gone there, but I am a loyal customer and decided to stick with the dealership. I picked up the truck on a Thursday. Noticed air getting lower on one of the tires over the weekend. Brought it into the dealership four days later (Monday). The tire was ten psi lower than the others. Dealership added air and said to keep an eye on it. Over the next week it slowly went down to ten psi below the others so brought it back into the dealership. They added air and said to give my service rep (Jason) a call when he was back in the office on Wed. Called Jason, brought the Truck in the next day (Thursday). Jason called to say that I must have hit a curb because the rim was dented. I said that if that was the case, the technician would have noticed it when he put on the new tire, Jason said the technician said it wasn't there when he put on the new tire. Also, the dent was on the inside of the tire, which is not where you would hit the curb. I also pointed out that the tire wasn't leaking when I brought it in to get new tires, and it was leaking immediately after I picked it up, so it happened on their watch and I should not have to pay for it. Jason turned it over to his service manager. Service Manager now claims that it was there before and the technician must have missed it when he put on the new tires. No acknowledgement that it happened on their watch or that the technician probably dropped the rim when changing the tire, so they weren't covering it. The cost of the rim wasn't a big deal to me, but their lack of accepting responsibility, and lack of desire to recognize and keep a loyal customer is a big deal, so they have lost me as a customer. I am also due to buy a new truck, but it definitely won't be from them. read more

My Jeep has had multiple issues and is still under 30k miles so I've been 'fortunate' enough to deal with multiple service departments in the area. I'm even giving extra stars to this service department as the Fresno dealership is an absolute mess and can't even take walk ins or have any appointments available for months. This place is the lesser of two evils, but many of the issues here are probably caused by the failures of other local service departments forcing customers to any dealership that has the ability to service a vehicle in under 3 months. The local area has no consistent or reliable service department and I will absolutely reconsider, and warn others, about ever purchasing from Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge in this area due to the combination of the service issues new vehicles have combined with then having to go without your vehicle for days for simple warranty repairs that could be addressed in a day or two. So today I come to drop my Jeep off cause I'm having to jump start my 2021 vehicle in the 100+ degree heat every time I need to drive it. I'm told they can't even look at it today but they'll take it. Cool, whatever. I have Jeep Wave so I'll get a rental. The standard Jeep Wave program doesn't authorize enough money to actually reimburse the costs of a rental car, but "lucky" for me I've been through this before and know to call Jeep wave to get pre-authorized. I stop at the desk and ask if the shuttle is going still, they say yes, just let them know when I'm ready. I say I need to go call Jeep Wave and then line up a rental quick and I'll be back. I get pre-authorized for a rental through Jeep Wave, track down a rental, go back up to the desk and now I'm told that the shuttle guy is gone for the day. It was 10 minutes tops, I even turned down the enterprise shuttle cause I had literally just verified the shuttle was going still. I call enterprise back and now I have an hour wait for their shuttle. Not like I have a job to be at, cool thanks. Not only is this multiple times I've had repairs while under warranty, they've never had the ability to service my vehicle in any sort of timely manner or in a fashion that doesn't require me to take hours off work and then be personally responsible for finding alternative transportation and filing for reimbursement and tracking it all myself. read more

Just bought my very FIRST car today and I am SO excited! Not long after I got onto the lot Eddie came out and started helping my Uncle and I with picking out a vehicle to test drive. Purchased a used 2019 Dodge Ram Bighorn in 2021 and was told that the vehicle had been inspected and did not have any vehicle modifications/aftermarket parts. Decided to purchase the extended warranty based off this information. Began having issues with the truck shaking when on the freeway so brought it in for repair. Was initially told the issue was from the tires which we replaced - and the issue continued. Brought the vehicle back and was told it was the rear coil oversprings - which they said were aftermarket and would not be covered by the warranty! Again when the vehicle was purchased the sales rep assured us there were no modifications. Clovis dodge is refusing to cover the repair under the warranty even though we were unaware of the type of coils on the vehicle. Will never buy a vehicle from this dealership!! The inspection they claimed to have done on our vehicle before purchase was obviously not done or not throughly done. Would have purchased a warranty from our credit union and not wasted my money with the dealership! read more

From the moment I walked onto the lot, everything and everyone was first rate. I had a specific pre-owned car I wanted to see, so I walked around the lot until I found it. I appreciate that I was not approached by a salesperson until it was obvious that I needed help. I was then approached by one gentleman (Eddie) who went to get the key. The manager (Jorge) came to bring the key and take me on a test drive. There was no pressure to buy. Instead, my questions were answered accurately and in a very friendly manner. In the past, I have had nice service until I didn't buy and was about to walk away. Yesterday, Jorge gave me all the numbers (no haggling) and was only kind and encouraging as I left, telling me he'd be available if I wanted to purchase, but he understood if timing wasn't right. I went back today to trade my car in and get financing (To the manager of financing who helped me.) I am now driving the most amazing 2018 BMW 530e (hybrid - so cool!) Dealerships survive on the Service Department. These guys helped me out earlier with this vehicle. So, I went to schedule an oil change I did so through their website. After scheduling the appointment online I got a message saying they would contact me to verify my appointment time. I never received a call. I called to verify, and I was not on the service calendar. The service representative was very kind, but had to schedule my appointment for a day that was not going to work for me. I ended up scheduling the appointment with a different dealership and had no issues. read more

It's now been ten days without a response, despite two email follow ups to him to determine the status of his research. We had high hopes that our issue would be researched and resolved. Let me start of this review by taking some of the responsibility here. My husband and I were a young couple who needed a bigger car for our growing family. My husband had always wanted a Dodge Charger. While he loves his car we strongly regret this purchase. We should have done our research and shopped around more. After being greeted and helped by a salesman, we met with the finance guy, Tom. We were told by Tom (do not believe him when he says he's the "best"!!!!!) one monthly payment and that's what we agreed to. The next day we got a phone call saying that he couldn't honor that price and were given a higher one. With a higher APR and an 8 year term. We should have backed out then. We didn't. Now here we are today, stuck with car that is worth $11,000 LESS then what we owe. We are dealing with a car payment that is so high and because of how much they sold us the car for we can't even refinance without having to pay a good chunk of money first. We also found out a few months later buy a lender that Tom ran my husband's credit 13(!!!!) times in order to get that 2nd payment. Do your research before purchasing a car from here. Make sure the price they give you is fair and don't let the owner or Tom trick you into thinking you are getting a great deal or you'll end up like us, stuck with a ridiculously over-priced car for a long, long time. read more

This dealership and the one in Fresno is owned by the same family which explains why both locations lack big time in customer service & care, it seems they'd rather make a sale then to take care of their customers even if they have max warranty coverage, they have no problem upmarking 20k for a vehicle but a huge problem replacing warranty parts, for along time now I had an issue the manager and service department called normal or as if they couldn't hear or tell anything was wrong, which was not normal one bit, i was lied too and was talked too as if I was overthinking too much about the "normal" problem, I was ran around for along time which lead to bigger situations. I take it to Selma and they have no problem helping me and are able to pinpoint the problem within minutes, There are people I met at Clovis and Fresno that are good people & I understand they have no choice but to follow their jobs rules but the family who runs the two places or the managers of service department need to be reported. It's like they want to run their reputation and business into the ground and are self destructing and don't care. They will write back on here as if they're going to do something to help but don't let that fool you, What took a few minutes at Selma took me months ontop of months of appointments, test drives, arguing with manager and service department and unnecessary time waisted, at Clovis and Fresno. These places are no good at the moment and I do not recommend buying or taking your vehicle to be serviced from them. Sucks to say cause I'm a dodge guy & I love my vehicle but this is not how you treat your customers. Just look at all the other reviews on here and decide for yourself. Honestly, worst service I have ever received. We brought our truck in because it started making a rough noise right down the street from the dealer. We were told it would take almost 2 weeks before they could even look at the vehicle which we understood since we just dropped it off. However, that should have been a sign to never bring it here. Our service advisor Jason was helpful in the beginning but ended up being really difficult to work with. He told us that to further diagnose our vehicle, they would have to tear down the engine. We agreed because we were told this was all under warranty. Then we were told, "you have a programmer on your vehicle so this is not under warranty and will have to pay our service bill of almost $20,000". We do not and did not ever have a programmer on the vehicle. Once we questioned them, he became really aggressive and ended up hanging up on us. Ridiculous. I spent almost two hours trying to speak with a service manager. I was told "he wasn't in or wasn't available" and kept getting transferred to my advisor who I did NOT want to keep talking with because of how he was towards me. I was FINALLY able to get my vehicle towed out 4 weeks later. Nothing is fixed on it. It's still broken. My vehicle now has a dent on the side of it with a nice grease thumb print. I'm missing engine parts. I called the service manager, and voicemail is full. The new shop our vehicle is at informed us that the fuel pump was never replaced. It was a recall. We had taken the truck to this same dealership and spoke with Jason months ago about the recall. He told us that the recall was replaced. It never was and that is why our engine failed. This place dose not know how to run. Every time I go in they change their steps as for just an oil change- you have to make an appointment to you don't, then back to you have to. This makes the customer look stupid. Now it no service on Saturdays. Lots of people work Monday- Friday and have no room to delegate a vehicle service during the week. Now we have to travel out of our area to get a service at the dealer. I know it's independently owned however random changes like this is very bad business and with no care that people have important jobs as well. Little disappointed on this dealership. The service was great but the honesty not as much I recently purchased a 2018 Trackhawk from them. They were a quite a drive from me so I couldn't see the vehicle before buying it. I asked the sales man, Curt, if I needed to know anything about the vehicle, such as cosmetic damages etc... He insured me that the car is in excellent condition. We did the deal over the phone and when I got there I was already approved for the vehicle. Upon inspecting the vehicle I saw fresh damage on the bumper of the vehicle. Not a big deal, I talked to Curt he said they will be able to pay for the damages. Awesome. Everything els seemed to be in excellent condition. It was already getting night time so there wasn't much I could see anyways. After we took care of everything they gave me only a red key, which for these vehicles comes two keys. One red ( unlocks 707 Horse power ) and one black ( caps the horsepower at 500 or so ). He told me they should have the other one upstairs. He will check tomorrow sense they are closed. Again not a problem. Again a few small problems which I didn't care too much. But it just kept on adding up. There were dents on the hood of the car. Visible under the sun when I was getting the vehicle detailed next day. The TIRES of the car only have 10-20% tread left... but wait there's more. The oil life of the car is at 25%. Are you serious ? A Certified dealership didn't even bother to service the vehicle. Even something as simple as an oil change ? And sell a vehicle with bald tires ? I contacted them a few times but keep on telling me their head manager isn't in and he will call me when he gets back. Been a few weeks and still haven't received anything. Honestly I don't care anymore. I'll take care of these myself. Again Curt and their team were extremely kind and I enjoyed talking to them. But I am extremely disappointed from a Certified dealership to have purchased a vehicle like this. It is my fault, correct, I should of have payed more attention to these small details. But yet again, I'm purchasing from a certified dealership, not a small dealer or private party. read more

Not communicating at all with extended warranty to provide rental have to be on them about vehicle repairs was out without truck for a week when they only worked on it for one day affected my business they really could care less and i still had to go back because my truck wasn't completed! Worst service experience of my life! Took a Wrangler in there to have an oil leak and knocking noise in the drive train checked out. First available appointment was 4 weeks out so I took it. When we showed up, the service guy, Matt, said they'd get to it the following week. Then WHY AM I DROPPING IT OFF A WEEK EARLY!?!? That was the first issue. Later that next week they said the leak was coming from the main bearing and that it needed to be replaced and they would get with the warranty people the next day for the approval. I asked them about the drive train noise and Matt said he would have it checked out. He made it sound like that was the first he heard about it. Really? Didn't hear anything back for a few days, so I called to check the status. Matt wasn't in that week so they said someone would call me back. Well, I never received a call back over the next two days. So, I called them, and of course Matt was gone again (apparently he only works the second and fourth Tuesdays of odd number months...or so it seemed since I RARELY was able to talk with him because he was always "not in today") and the person I talked to was finally able to figure out that the work was approved and they were awaiting the parts. I asked AGAIN about the noise from the drive train and they said it was something bumping up against a heat shield. I told them that was in no way the source, since it wasn't a constant noise and that it would happen only once when put in gear. They again said they'd check it out. After being in there for 3 weeks, the leak was finally fixed. On a rare occasion when I was able to talk to Matt and he told me about the leak being completed, I again asked him about the noise. He said, "I'll have a technician look at it tomorrow". Nothing like waiting 3 weeks to finally get serious about looking into problem number 2!! Well, it took 3 more weeks to finally figure out that it was the torque converter going bad, not something hitting against a heat shield, and they finally fixed it. And the big kicker!!! The Wrangler was in there for 6 weeks and 1 day...it was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY when I picked it up!!!!! The bill was over $4k and they COULDN'T BOTHER to wash just the outside of it?!?! Any way, if you read these reviews you'll see the common theme is that the service department is ATROCIOUS!!! They read the reviews too (as illustrated by the responses) and obviously don't care or they would make improvements. Some person from the dealer called me the next day to see how my service experience was. I spelled it out EXACTLY to her. She apologized and said that she would definitely have the service manager also call me to follow up. CRICKETS... So, apparently it's either apathy or incompetence on their part.
