I have been…read moregoing to CVS since I can remember but never have I had to go to the actual pharmacy, but today I went to go grab some allergy medication for my mother. I arrived to the pharmacy to see this long auburn haired girl talking very agitated to an older lady, as if she had a long day. Whatever that's fine. It wasn't until I went to my car to get my license that I returned to the lady yelling at an older man hard of hearing giving him instructions but then rubbed her entire face (in these corona virus circumstances and DIDN'T sanitize her hands after) and said "i feel like i'm yelling" all stressed like. the guy ended up saying "what a chore huh?" after letting her know he was hard of hearing multiple times. That was that but she also got very stressed out that I pulled out my card to early and she had to restart the terminal. My mother has said she's only seen her very rude to customers or breaking down crying. If you have no patients for anyone but yourself, don't be a health care worker. And if you hate your job, get out of it and do something else! A human interaction has never pissed me off more in my life. I only give two stars because I like CVS just not the girl working at the pharmacy; the managers really need to put that girl in check or fire her.

Seeing a happy, healthy, sleepy kitty lounging in a store tells me that the staff and the local clientele is kind and whimsical. The world needs more bodega cats, truly. Apparently this kitcat is named Miku and while he does have a human, he spends most of his time roaming town, and clearly lots of time at this CVS. Other than Miku, I thought this CVS was relatively well stocked and very clean. While there was a bit of a line at checkout and I only saw 1 staff member, she was kind. We found what we needed and were in and out quickly.

I will continue to shop here for a few products. They do carry La Roche Posay if you're looking for fancy skincare! And they often have Hippeas vegan chickpea puffs (IYKYK); they are hard to find but are also sold at Shelton's in town and at Whole Foods in Coddingtown Mall. If you do visit this CVS, don't be surprised if you see a cat lounging in the aisle or helping himself to cat food. I called around town looking for specific vaccinations and each doctor's office referred me to a different office. After calling around for a while I was referred to Safeway. Not only did they have what I wanted in stock, they are open late (7 or 8) so I didn't have to rush like a madwoman to get there after work. The pharmacy tech and doctor were so so so friendly and helpful, complete opposite what I was expecting at a grocery store pharmacy. Although I did end up waiting half an hour for my insurance to be sorted out (and it never really was, but that's not their fault) I was quickly taken back from the waiting room into a side room. It's pretty much why I go there rather than Safeway. I expect great service and the girls in the pharmacy know me and are kind and compassionate. I like the small town feeling I get from Lark Drugs and they have compression socks, art supplies, a great card selection and all kind of yard tchotchkes that you can't find at the Safeway.
