Made an appointment here weeks ago to get a vaccination; appointment was yesterday- waited 25 minutes- had to do the paperwork AGAIN after I did already complete it online. The man took all my information and insurance card only to find out that the vaccination i needed were all expired!!! The Ukiah, CA Walgreen's are a bunch of liars. They have been stringing me along for days, saying they were still waiting for my doctor to call my prescription in. Turns out they were just out of the medication and lying so I wouldn't transfer my Rx elsewhere. They didn't tell me until I asked if they even had the meds in stock, and they finally said no. Then when I said they caused me to run out, they told me to find another pharmacy. I'm a transfer from Rite Aid and even they didn't treat me this way. I'm never doing business with them again and I don't recommend putting your trust in them. Not with something as serious as medications. They are terribly irresponsible and just don't give a crap. read more

We chose walgreens because they have a drive through pharmacy and my husband would be picking up my prescriptions on his lunch hour. The past 3 times he has been there to pick up my prescriptions he has waited and waited. Twice he called me and I had to call them to see what was taking so long. Mind you I had already received my notifications, stating that my prescriptions were ready. The day before. i hate to leave because and the fact that a drive through is convenient and the times that the prescriptions were ready. Everyone that I have met personally, has been very nice. This is the worst experience I've ever had at any pharmacy. The people here are super unprofessional and don't know what they are doing. The guy named Anthony keep saying "I guess" and when asked what he would recommend for a cold "ummm I don't know". He literally had to look up what the difference between the Walgreens brand and the name brand cold medication. This guy not only had no clue what he was doing he moved sooo slow! read more

Better pack a sleeping bag if you decide to use the drive through. They take about 15-20 minutes on average to process a single vehicles transaction. They also have severe communication issues. Called in a prescription and they said it would be ready in an hour. Drove up 4 hours later and it wasnt ready. Came back later when they said it would be ready and had to sit in line AGAIN for another half hour. Do not use this pharmacy...just don't do it. read more

I want to give a shout out to Shannon, who obviously takes pride in her work and is a great representative for Walgreens. We absolutely needed to have 257 photographic prints ready immediately. Unfortunately, the photo machine was down, but thanks to Shannon's persistent efforts, she got the machine running again, and we got our photos printed in time. read more

The bad news is they often times lose prescriptions called in by your doctor. They've told me my prescription was ready when it wasn't. The customer service is terrible and they don't give one care about you, in fact, if you walked right out and went elsewhere, I think that might make their day. They're rude, all of the time. The good news is that they have a 40$ prescription savings card which really does save a lot of money if you or your pet don't have insurance and require daily medication. I've saved tons on my dogs thyroid pills. read more

This review is regarding the pharmacy only! Do I have to give even 1 star? Not only are 90% of the staff completely unhelpful and unprofessional But they take so long at the drive thru and it's really just as bad inside . I'm talking waiting for an hour to get your kids refills on their fluoride or just simple antibiotics for a sinus infection.. They don't put a lot of effort at all into communicating with the doctor and insurance companies which is their job ... They mess up prescriptions ... Untrained employees .. The list goes on. There was one good pharmacist who worked there who I haven't seen in almost a year I think he was the 1 star I would have given. Anyways if you can use rite aid or Walmart or CVS these people at Walgreens are so rude to their customers . Not just me but I've observed them with others while in line ... Elderly people . I left the pharmacy at Safeway in Ukiah because the majority of the staff (except for the smiling woman - you know who you are!) were unnecessarily argumentative and seemed exhausted/bored. I would say the majority of the time my prescriptions were never ready or correct when I had even received notifications that they were. That being said, EVERY interaction that I have had with the pharmacy team at Walgreens has been a pleasure and completely accurate and timely. Ben is charming, Kathy is patient and Yuen goes the extra mile. The drive-thru is fast and efficient. The store is clean and the checkers are friendly. I am actually shocked by the other reviews, because that has NOT been my case at all. These people are legit, and that is the rumor I hear around town too. The Walgreens app is actually functional and if I gush anymore, people are going to start to think I work there. Which I do not. Cross my heart, I work across the street. read more

Oh my this is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I dropped off a prescription told to come back in 20 minutes, I said, " How about first thing in the morning?, they said "Great no problem. I arrived and they said they were still working on it, then they said they did not have the drug, then they said, the real problem is our pharmacist does not know how to give you that amount of ointment. This is a drug that I am paying $285 cash for!! Meanwhile I am steaming and am being completely ignored. (I need this ointment on a wound every 24 hours for an infection) I realize they cannot get it together and there are other people waiting. Next I ask for my original prescription back so I can drive 45 minutes to CVS in Lakeport and they made me wait another 22 minutes because apparently they did not want to look for it, I insisted they not help another person until we solve this while they look for it ,all the while completely ignoring me and being rude on top of it taking other customers and talking about the customers. This pharmacy has the worst customer service of any I have ever been too. The rest of the store is great; nice and helpful people, but the pharmacy is ridiculous. You get calls telling you to come and pick up medication, and you're told after waiting in the drive through for 20 minutes, that it's not ready. Why has someone called then? This can sometimes go on for several days. The drive through is a bad joke, unless there is no other way you can manage. There was one person that worked there named Ben who is the only really helpful person, and will help problem solve and explain everything. Another woman tries her best, but has no back up, and people who have become indifferent at best. I wouldn't go there myself, but must consistently utilize them for my 94 year old father who has multiple scripts there. Someday I will move them all to Raley's. read more

The pharmacy manager, Yuen, filled my next prescription without a hitch, made sure that everything was done correctly, and I can honestly say made up for everything that the neophyte pharmacist preceding her made such a hassle, And took 2.5 hours of my time to fill the prescriptions as written. I am glad that they can flex to the standards that the pharmacy board of California updated in their regulations today per the medical board of California ( http://www.mbc.ca.gov/Licensees/Prescribing/AB1753Notice.pdf ) which is a reminder to pharmacists of prior guidelines regarding withholding medications The pharmacist is not taking into account prior prescriptions for the same medication regarding major medical problems, discomfort, or other issues, and not compassionate, or understanding regarding the stipulations from insurance companies that makes getting prescriptions difficult. Yeun really went to bat, and hopefully she educated her younger counterpart on how to fill prescriptions in the future. read more

Worst customer service ever in my life. I've never had to wait over 15 minutes to drop off a prescription. Just drop off, I wanted to get my sick husband home and come back. My husband was so sick in the car, it took 20 minutes inside with staff looking like they were pissed just to drop off the Rx, came back and waited another 25 minutes in the car drive thru because I had my kids. They supposedly offer Western Union here. You go there to pick up some money not a lot but not a little and they tell you after youve been waiting and come all the way there that their limit is $300. Why offer Western Union if you're not even offering full services? It's basically a half ass service like this store. Stores should be dropping Western Union like this one or risk having pissed off customers who will just go to Rite Aid when we need something from a drugstore. read more

Walgreens is all about upselling OTC medications. I brought in 2 prescriptions and was told-- regardless of my Insurance--these where ready and available Over The Counter (meaning I had to pay out of pocket [$$$$]). I have been a loyal customer for many years in Arizona... unfortunately Walgreens Pharmacy in Ukiah has turned a long term relationship into an immediate disappointment. Unfortunately, this Pharmacy has horrible customer service. The employees ringing up your prescription are not friendly, and they look genuinely unhappy to see you. Of course, it is hard to appear happy when you're working late, as it is a 24-hour pharmacy, but I never go past nine. If you can't find another pharmacy that is open at your time of need, then this one is alright, but I would avoid it otherwise. read more

I want to say that Ben in the Ukiah Walgreen's pharmacy deserves a raise! I called this pharmacy to ask a question about getting my son's prescription filled here when his meds were not available at the pharmacies we had used before. Ben was the problem solver! He explained we had 3 options: requesting a current prescription transfer, from another pharmacy, or arranging for mail order filling of prescription, or that another Walgreen's could receive the prescription hard copy, create a profile and then forward that to my local Walgreen's. This information was so helpful! My insurance and my pharmacy plan both failed to know or explain this to me. Ben went out of his way to calmly and patiently go over the details. His attitude was so exceptionally kind and thoughtful, I was impressed. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy to go to! They have let me down multiple times. I called today needing a prescription filled one that I need everyday. The lady first of all hung up on me and I had to call back. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Also two days prior to today my husband received a phone call that his prescription was ready. I came down here 35 minutes when they said 20 figuring that gave them plenty of extra time. I get here and the lady tells me oh sorry it's not ready yet the pharmacist needs to get it ready and he just went on a break. Are you kidding me? So then I say I will get my husbands and she says oh sorry the pharmacist needs to approve his first so you can't pick up either right now!?!??!? So then I show up once again 40 minutes later and wait in line for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledges me in the drive thru line and the pharmacist says oh sorry I didn't know you needed it right away? This is the most horrible customer service ever and I don't know how anyone continues to do business here. I have spent almost 2 hours here and still don't have my medicine and it is a school night and I have plenty of stuff to do!
