Cloud Naan was a 10/10 experience! It was our first time trying Pakistani cuisine and this was the perfect place to get our introduction. The interior is decorated in such a fun and inviting way, with little touches of outdoor Pakistani design. My favorite were the colorful umbrellas on the ceiling and little wicker stools around the restaurant When you arrive, you can order from their digital kiosk for dine in and take away My aunt and I got their signature Pakistani dishes beef haleem and chicken karahi...the latter being our favorite. And we didn't skip out on the carbs...we ordered garlic naan, beef naan, plain naan and paratha. All we're stellar The staff is extremely lovely! The owner came up to every table to welcome us and our server Tanya was so kind and attentive We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes soon!

We were really excited to come here after seeing the reviews and craving food with South Asian flavors. The food itself is definitely carrying the review. Food: 5/5. Absolutely delicious butter chicken, garlic naan, and chicken tikka. They are not shy with the spices--each dish was PACKED with flavor. The butter chicken has just the right amount kick, the chicken was delicious and tender, and was a huge portion. The naan was the perfect texture, large serving, and wonderfully buttery. The chicken tikka was pretty spicy, but tolerable, and tender as can be. The servicing size of this specifically I thought was a little small for the price, but we accidentally ordered so much food that it didn't matter lol. Mango lassi was a delicious sweet pairing to counter the heat. Excellent consistency, super refreshing. We came on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. There were 2-3 parties aside from us. I didn't really enjoy ordering from the kiosk, I prefer speaking to a server about the food and getting their insight on certain things. You do have to pay before you get the food, and if you're including a tip you add that before ever getting served (if paying my card). Felt a little backwards. Service: 3/5 and that's being generous. I will give grace because it looked like there was only one person serving the whole restaurant. But silverware and plates weren't set (eventually they brought us some in a stack and we had to distribute it to ourselves), we had to grab our own drinks from the fridge (they didn't tell us, so we sat there for 20 min before realizing). And we weren't checked on except for when they brought something out. And the food, although outstanding, took about 40 min to arrive the table. That's a long time for any restaurant. I don't know how many chefs there were, maybe they were swamped with takeout but there was only a couple other people in the restaurant. Maybe it was just an off day. Decor: Outside looks rough, but inside is nicely decorated. A hidden gem as some say. NO air conditioning though, he warned. It was pretty warm but they had fans going so we tolerated it, but barely. All in all, give it a shot if you want some delicious food! Would come back again, for sure. The food itself was worth it. Great meal and plenty left over for later!

The Vibe: A colorful, fast-casual hidden gem with unique seating options, including platforms for sitting cross-legged. Easy side street parking and the service was quick since it's a self order kiosk then they bring the food out to you The Standouts: Massive portions for all the dishes.The Chicken Tikka and Naan are fantastic. The Biryani is enough for two meals. Elite Tips: The staff is incredibly kind; they even brought out free appetizers while we waited. Expect a 15-20 minute wait for food because everything is fresh.

I have been seeing Cloud Naan on my Yelp whenever i''m looking for somewhere local to eat and it caught my eye because i've never seen it before. I came for dinner and wow!! Everything was so yummy. I also got a Mango Lassi to top it off :) You order at the self-order kiosk, grab a table, and they bring the food out to you. The staff is so sweet and checks up on you to see how you are liking the food. I highly recommend coming to try Cloud Naan if you're in Carson or nearby!

Today I had lunch at this hidden gem in Carson. It's a Pakistani restaurant specializing in BBQ. I had the mutton combo which came with a huge naan bread and salad, and some samosas. The food was delicious and had a little spicy kick. The naan was delicious as were the samosas. It's nothing fancy and there was ample seating in a colorfully decorated restaurant. I think they mainly have a lot of take out and deliveries as I was dining alone at lunchtime. I would love it if they ever had a buffet which would introduce people to their various menu items or a combination with different offerings. The service was friendly and they refilled my chai tea which was complimentary. I'll be back to try the other barbecue items.

The food was delicious! The portions are surprisingly huge! We ordered the butter chicken combo, samosas, jalapeño cheese naan and beef keema naan. The jalepeno naan was BOMB, we didn't know how much naan to expect so we ordered the beef one. Both were great but definitely get the jalepeno cheese one! The butter chicken combo was such a great deal! The portion is plenty for 2. It was savory and had great flavors! The dining area was so cute and pretty, we were glad that we chose to dine in instead of takeout like we originally planned. The service was friendly and our server was really sweet. I would definitely come back and bring friends to try more of the other items!

We were looking for something different to eat and came across a review of Cloud Naan. We decided to try it and we're we blown away. Everything was delicious!!! The food was perfectly seasoned with plenty of heat. The Butter Chicken was so good!! And the BBQ!! Yep!!!To calm the heat a delicious Mango lassi was served. The Garlic naan was huge and delicious and let's not forget the sauces. This place is a must.If you're in Carson, come try some Pakistani food. We're doing fine on Cloud Naan!!!! Oh by the way that picture was after we devoured almost everything!!!

Called to place an order for carry out and they played in my face. Butter chicken should have been $20 each but they charged me almost $28 per !!! AND WHAT IS THAT SERVICE CHARGE, I literally picked up my own food. I used to come all the time but I'm never coming back, robbed me in broad daylight. So sad. Update: The owner reached out to me privately to rectify the situation. He apologized and made it right; I was inappropriately charged. I've updated my review based off his timely response. I will be back because the food is amazing and service is always great. Final update when I return !!

Very flavorful! I'm a sucker for restaurants that offer a warm, cozy vibe while staying open late and Cloud Naan delivers. So the service is a bit DIY; you walk in and there's a huge digital screen where you place your order. After that, it's self-seating. So, it's a mixture of a restaurant and fast-casual. For example, you receive your food on metal bowls/plates but then your utensils and cups are disposable. If they elevate the experience a bit to offer metal forks and ceramic cups, I think it'd make everything just a bit nicer. Anyways, I think first-timers should order from the Combo section. We ordered the butter chicken combo and the mutton karahi combo and I believe it's enough to feed roughly 3 people. For the value you get, that's pretty darn good IMO ($15 + $19 by themselves, but we added on the kashimiri tea and garlic naan). The mutton karahi was AMAZING. I've never had this Pakistani dish, but oh my goodness. Super flavorful and tender meat. My biggest gripe is that there's bones--which isn't unexpected, but there were some instances where some bones were broken off and made tiny little shards. Definitely be a bit more careful when eating this. The butter chicken was also great; just as you'd expect as other spots that serve this. The salad was perfectly seasoned and everything wasn't too spicy. I loved the ambiance; there's a few low tables and a few regular-height benches. The entire place is decorated really well and it makes the place feel more vibey. There's even a Carrom table, which was being played by another party. Next time I'd definitely want to try playing it! Overall, I'd definitely come back. The food tasted so good and I want to try more of the menu.

Cloud Naan was a spot I heard about from a coworker, so a few of us decided to check it out for lunch and it did not disappoint. We ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan and rice, and the portions were huge. Honestly, two orders were enough to feed our group of seven. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, and pairing it with the garlic naan made it even better. The naan was so good that it disappeared fast -- definitely recommend getting at least one per person if you're a fan. Ordering was simple through a kiosk, and the food was brought out to our table pretty quickly. The service stood out too, the staff was really friendly and even offered us chai while we waited, which was a nice touch and made the experience feel more welcoming. The ambiance was great as well. The space is nicely decorated and has a warm, inviting feel that makes it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. HANDS DOWN SOME OF THE BEST BUTTER CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Came here with some coworkers for lunch. You order through a kiosk and pick your own seat. The server offered us complimentary chai which was quite delicious. I heard they used to have self serve water, but there was none this time which was a bummer. My group had a total of 7 people. We ordered 2 butter chickens, 2 rices, and 7 pieces of the garlic naan. When the rice and butter chicken came out I was a bit worried it wouldn't be enough food for all of us because we were all starving and some of us were big eaters, but when the garlic naan came out it snuffed out all my problems. The garlic naan was so big, it was bigger than my face. We were so excited for the naan I forgot to take a picture! The garlic naan was delectable and I'm so glad we got one for each person, 10/10. The butter chicken was sooooooo delicious. The chicken was very tender and the sauce was amazing with the rice and naan. The meal also came with 2 sauces. A mint one, a spicy red one, and a black one that kind of tasted like tamarind? I really enjoyed the red sauce with the butter chicken, gave it a nice kick. The portion was also great for $26! 10/10, would come here over and over again just for the butter chicken. The parking lot is very small, but there was a side street that you can park on.

Interior is interesting. I think very Indian. When I entered no one was at the front so I order at the kiosk. I ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, and the mango lassi. The food took a bit to come out so owner(?) came out and offered me complimentary tea. The amount of food was good enough for at least two people, so I had leftovers. The garlic naan was on the thick side but flavorful and good. The butter chicken was a bit different from the flavor I know but still pretty good. The mango lassi was very good. The owner(?) came out and apologized about the food coming about late because they were short-staffed. The owner(?) was very nice. I would come again when I am craving Indian food. read more

The best Indian / Pakistani food I have had in Southern California. Charming and authentic restraunt location in Carson not far off the 405 which recently opened around Christmas 2024. Had the Chicken Karahi for lunch and a Garlic Naan - which also came with an excellent tea, salad, and a rice pudding desert. The chicken fell off the bone and was perfectly spiced - large portions as well to take home. The Naan was superb as well. Everything was freshly cooked and uniquely spiced - such a difference from the usual buffet-fare you see with most Indian restaurants. The menu both more "common" Indian curries and some fantastic Pakistani / Kashmiri BBQs, which are just superb. I look forward to coming back and trying their fish - but I could not recommend this place more just based on this meal. Excellent, friendly service (especially if you are unfamiliar with Pakistani food and not sure what to order). I think coming here weekly will be a resolution for 2025. read more

This was our first time trying Pakistani food and it was delicious! We ordered the Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, and Basmati Rice. The service was excellent. The servings are great. It was 5 of us and we still had leftovers. We also received complimentary Chai tea and it was delicious! I stopped by for a to-go order, but the staff impressed me with their excellent service. They offered us chai tea and snacks while we waited, which was such a nice surprise. The food is authentic. The sauce and spices are amazing. Was looking for some quality butter chicken and I'm so glad I found it. It took some time for the food to be ready, which I didn't mind. Went in with excitement .. seeing the decor and "culture" and yet I've never left a restaurant so disappointed! They had one waitress for the whole front of the house ... waited a pretty decent time for the food to come ... and it could all be overlooked if the food tasted good... which sadly it didn't. Rice was raw... our butter chicken tasted like a charcoal was dropped in there... the haleem did not taste like haleem - more like a lentil soup with an excess of garam masala mixed in... mixed tandoori plate was filled with chicken (for $35 I'd like some beef please) goat karhai smelled amazing but still had the fat/muscle/tendons attached plus all the bones... *sigh*... most of the food was brought back home ... and sadly will prob end up in the trash :( Prices are super high.. even with inflation factored in.. the high prices and low quality taste do not make sense. My husband has this on his places to visit but I told him I'm not going. Another crazy thing is the place is full of 5 star reviews ... but then the reviewers aren't South Asian .. which should've given me a clue. Other than that it was a cute interior with traditional seating and the plates and serveware were cute. But I need food to taste decent if I'm spending a good amount of $$$ than just cute decor. read more

Spotted this lil corner spot all lit up the other night on my way home from dinner and wanted to stop... just couldn't. so we waited til today, brought my Godson & god dtr for their first ever Butter Chicken ... let's just say they licked their fingers!!! We tried the mixed Tikka chicken ( 3 different flavors) sooo good. They are usually picky eaters and they friend and loved it all!! Shout out to the staff who are very friendly and attentive! The garlic naan was a hit also 15/10!!! We will be definitely coming back... kids are talking about what they are gonna try next! read more

I am a Yelp Elite (discovered 8/15/2025) with highly polished tastes, doubly so when appraising a South Asian establishment given the expertise genetically instilled by my own ethnic background. Thus, I can confidently express that Cloud Naan is truly an authentic, excellent desi dining experience. You may not see a single server when you enter, so you place your order into a terminal and then wait for your order at any seat you find open. No American non-sense of someone coming up to you with a notepad saying "I'll be helping you out today". There is no water to be filled - you pay $1.50 to buy a bottle which you yourself pull out from a fridge. Food will be brought to you courteously and perhaps they will say "enjoy" at best. What will follow will be an excellent tasting meal - which is what a restaurant should be about. The inside of the establishment has an authentic, desi street-food style motif, although for an elite like me, I focus on the food and care little for the lighting or the Instagrammable opportunities. We had the butter chicken, garlic naan, chicken seekh kabob and gulab jamun, which were all elite-worthy. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

After our previous experience, the owner reached out and apologized for our experience. We had a nice conversation and I appreciated that he reached out personally and even wrote a response to my review. We went back today to give it another try and the experience was better. The goat karahi had the right proportion of meat and we were not disappointed. Our favorite was the butter chicken and mango lassi. The butter chicken was very tasty and not overpowering. The mango lassi wasn't overly sweet so you know that they did not add any sweetener to it. Over all the food was delicious and the service was still excellent. This place is so cute! The decor and the seating options were adorable and so cool. I loved the chai, and had to order another teapot full. The server is friendly and attentive. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. Thankfully, this review falls into the latter category. If you're looking for authentic Pakistani food with incredible flavor, this is the place to go. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious--from the rich, flavorful curries to the perfectly seasoned kebabs. The chicken was so tender and juicy that it practically melted in your mouth. You can tell that a lot of care goes into every dish. The restaurant has a unique setup where you order and pay at a kiosk when you arrive, and your food is brought out to your table. There aren't a lot of employees walking around, but honestly, it isn't necessary. The service was still great, and everything ran smoothly. The owner even came by to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our meal, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The decor is beautiful and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's modern, cozy, and perfect for a date night, but also great for dinner with family or friends. My family was initially skeptical about trying this new place, but I convinced them to give it a shot--and we were not disappointed! The restaurant has a charming dabba-style setup and is impressively clean. The food is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. While the menu is limited, every dish is cooked to perfection. Our server, Madu, was exceptional. She went above and beyond to provide us exceptional service. My mother has back issues, by promptly helped by providing the necessary support. Ordered the chicken tikka lunch special which included biryani, it was a good value and flavor. It also comes with a beverage and they served a complimentary chai tea and crisps with the meal.
