I ordered the beef shawarma and really enjoyed it. I thought the meat was seasoned well and the portion was great for it being a wrap. I loved the cleanliness inside and friendly owner/staff. He also has 'tea' bags inside which are actually dates and he can tell you the story behind that process how he gets it imported. As for the the food, delicious and would definitely come back. I think we could always use more great quality Mediterranean restaurants in our area. Thank you! read more

I've frequented Laith's a few times now and can confidently say their food is consistently amazing each time. With it being located in a strip mall along Carson St, people will overlook it but do yourself a favor and swing by. This spot is such a hidden gem and there are seldom Mediterranean spots in Carson, and I am grateful this place exists. I love getting the Beef Shawarma Wrap with hot sauce and garlic sauce, the meat is cooked to perfection and the flavors are on point (plus the servings are very generous!) The chicken option is great as well! The staff are very hospitable and you feel very taken care of here. Please come by and support this great small business. read more

Got the Cucumber Salad and the Chicken Shawarma Wrap (hold the pickles). Everything was delicious. Fresh ingredients in the salad. The mild acidic dressing helped balance the richness from the feta cheese. The pita was nice and soft. The meat was seasoned well. Putting it all together (with the lettuce, tomatoes and garlic sauce) makes for a tasty bite. Also, it was a good-sized wrap. The hot sauce does have some lingering heat. Service was super friendly. Absolutely amazing and consistent Mediterranean food. Owner Laith pays attention to detail and consistency of food for each customer. I've been here twice and loved it each time. Laith's is located in the Carson Bonita Plaza and is very easy to park in. The storefront has inside seating but is also a good grab and go spot. What sets them apart from others is their food is number one really flavorful, they don't use a meat rotisserie cooker, it's freshly made to order the meats. They also have Date shakes which are very healthy and shake that most businesses don't serve. I'm a big beef guy so I got their beef shawarma plate the first time I went and a beef shawarma wrap the second time. The flavors in the wrap were mindblowing. The pita is very very good along with their hummus. Their hummus hands down is one of the best and I'm not just saying that! Laith also recommended the Falafel which I've never really enjoyed before. Here at Laith's it was great, very crispy on the outside and soft in the inside and it wasn't greasy at all. We finished the meal with their sweet Baklava, so good. Need to try their chicken and date shakes the next time I stop by. read more

While looking for something to eat, we hopped on Yelp for good Mediterranean food and this place popped up -- Laith's Mediterranean. It's a small establishment with just a few tables and, at the moment, no wait staff. The owners, a husband and wife team, were very friendly. They are the chefs and also take care of the customers, which gave the place a very welcoming, personal feel. The vibe is more fast-casual. You can order on a tablet or place your order directly with the owner. The menu isn't very extensive, but everything we tried was really good. I ordered the chicken and beef shawarma, falafel, basmati rice, and an assortment of sauces. The portions were generous, and the food was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back again. read more

Came across Laith's simply because we were in the area and needed to find somewhere to eat. I wanted to try something new, and Laith's came up on Yelp, so we mapped it and headed straight there. We walked in and were greeted right away. Since it was our first time, the man working the register was patient and walked us through the menu. We had kids with us, and instead of pushing two plates for them, he recommended just splitting one. We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, the gyro plate, and the mixed meat plate (gyro and chicken shawarma) with hummus, cucumber salad, rice, and tzatziki on the side. We grabbed our table and could hear the kitchen sizzling away. The food came out about 10 minutes after we ordered, and it was honestly the best gyro I've had in the South Bay. I'm a fan of gyros, and Laith's is thinly sliced, wildly crispy on the edges, and moist in the center. The rice underneath was perfectly seasoned to complement the meat. The tzatziki and hummus tasted fresh, not overly processed or loaded with unnecessary ingredients. Unlike other places, this tzatziki was special--you could actually taste the Greek yogurt, the cucumber pieces, and the olive oil drizzled on top. Throughout our meal, the man working the front checked in with us and the other customers dining in, making sure everyone was well taken care of. We ended with the baklava, and as perfect as the gyro was, the baklava kept up--flaky, with a crunch you could hear on every bite. I'm a fan of Laith's, and even though I'm not in the area much, I'll drive out of my way for his food when I'm craving a great gyro, tzatziki, hummus, rice--everything. Next time I'm getting the falafel, just to see if it amazes me the way today's meal did. read more

We were in Carson and decided to look for a Mediterranean food spot. We lucked up and found Laith's just a mile away. When we walked in we were greeted by one of the really nice owners, he walked us through the menu and made recommendations. We decided on the shawarma chicken and beef combo plate with rice, cucumber salad and hummus. There's a seating area with tables and chairs. We wanted to enjoy the food while it was hot so we sat there; the food was fresh, delicious and the portion was huge! I typically can only tolerate a spoonful of hummus but Laith's house made hummus was creamy and flavorful, I couldn't help but to dip my pita in it. The chicken was my favorite but I'm bias because I'm not much of a beef person. The falafels were good as well. I was bummed that we only ate one each and I accidentally threw away the rest of them. They have garlic butter, spicy saucy and tzatziki which were all good. There's plenty of parking in the lot and you can get your order to go as well. I will be back for sure. read more

Hungry for a late lunch with my team after a good sales meeting we needed a place to eat and found this spot on yelp. What we encountered after was nothing short of great. The owner gave us an overview of the menu and his personal selections for us. He was spot on! I got the mixed plate of chicken and beef and it was a perfect blend of flavors! The sides were excellent and he even gave us more items and a dessert. This man is what every business needs. You can feel his passion come through his food and care for your dining experience. The place was immaculate as well! I brought some home as the plate was filled to the top. My wife really enjoyed the rest of it and complimented every aspect. Wow! I came in to order lunch at Laith Mediterranean Restaurant and was immediately impressed. The customer service was super friendly and welcoming. I also loved the menu, it's laid out so clearly and was very easy to order from. I had the beef shawarma wrap and paired it with the Palm Green Smoothie, and both were 100% delicious! This location has the best shawarma wrap on the planet! My first time here on Saturday I had a chicken shawarma wrap and I loved it so much it gave me a craving to back today! Today I got a beef shawarma wrap and was able to place the order on the phone as I raced to pick it up before closing. Best dinner! The guy who works there is very chill and friendly. I really like Mediterranean food and this spot got their food on point! I got beef shwarma plate with cucumber salad, bastima rice, and hummus. Rice and beef cooked very well and were well seasoned. Came about this little hole in the wall while I was at the smoke shop next door. A customer in line asked if it was any good and the smoke shop employee spoke highly of this place so I had to try it out. Only to find that same customer from the smoke shop there as well! I believe they just barely opened and the interior was sleek with a good amount of sitting area. Laith was kind and apologized for not being able to take our order as he was busy in the back but not to fret there is a touch screen to place an order yourself. Ordered x2 Beef Shawarma Wrap, Cucumber Salad, x2 Garlic Sauce and the Chocolate Maca Shake. I've had my fair share of Mediterranean cuisines and I can say everything was delicious! I devoured the that Beef Shawarma. & tbh, I did not expect to enjoy the shake as it contained Dates but it was by far my favorite, hands down. I ordered takeout for 12 people. Every single thing was made fresh to order and absolutely delicious! The servings were plentiful. Great chicken Shawarma! the best dinner and price!! we got the gyro plate which was $21 for a big plate of gyro meat, rice, hummus and pita! you have the option for different sides and we went with double hummus - their hummus is so silky and smooth and delicious! we also enjoyed the garlic and tahini sauces on the side. order online for easy pick up. there's a few tables inside but it seems more grab and go. i will be back for sure! read more

Established in 2024.

We opened our first location in January 2024 with a simple goal: to serve fresh, authentic Mediterranean food to our community. We started small — inside a local market with a small kitchen, just 2 tables and 8 seats. Most of our orders were to-go, but our customers’ incredible support and loyalty helped us grow faster than we ever imagined. In addition to our traditional Mediterranean dishes, we’re proud to offer our popular healthy date shakes, made with quality ingredients and full of flavor. Thanks to the amazing support from our community, we moved into our own nearby location in January 2026. Now, with 24 seats and a space we can truly call our own, we’re excited to offer a more comfortable dine-in experience while continuing to serve the same great food and friendly service you’ve come to love. We’re grateful for everyone who has supported us from the beginning and look forward to welcoming new faces to our growing family.

Meet the Business Owner: Laith A.

My name is Laith, and my journey into food started in 2015 when I began importing date seed coffee from Jordan to the United States. Sharing this unique drink with people made me realize how much I enjoy bringing happiness to others through good food and drinks. Seeing how much people appreciated the flavors inspired me to turn that passion into something bigger. Through my experience importing from Jordan, I built relationships with trusted suppliers and learned how to source authentic ingredients from the Middle East. That journey eventually led me to start Laith’s Mediterranean, where I share authentic Middle Eastern flavors with the community. The best part for me is still seeing people enjoy the food and hearing how much they love it.

I went on a Thursday night and it was slammed. They do not take reservations but they do have a waitlist via toast that you can join while you walk around and wait for your table. Plenty to do and see on 2nd street. We ordered the party platter for 4 people! It was the perfect amount of food with leftovers to take home. Everything was cooked to PERFECTION. Our beef was a textbook medium rare and was so juicy and tender, as was the rest of the meat. The chicken was so moist and flavorful, as was all the shawarma. All meats were seasoned beautifully. The rice underneath was stunning as well and really caught all the juices from the meat on top. The roasted tomatoes, onions, and pickles were the perfect compliments to help freshen up the palette during the meal. The sauces were amazing and there was a clear favorite (the garlic sauce) which was annihilated by all four of us. Service was friendly! It was very packed so it was slow at times but understandably so. They come by and give you orange blossom water for your hands post meal - what a treat! We smelled amazing! NO NOTES FOR OPEN SESAME! I have to come back with more friends! We did have an issue but it was with another patron who had the audacity to yell at my table (while I was in the restroom) for "having too much fun"?!?! This is a public restaurant and it was loud as hell in there because it's tight and everyone talks over each other, not to mention the open kitchen. The energy in the restaurant is exciting and frenetic. If you want a quiet dinner f*cking STAY HOME and leave the streets to those of us who have had a WEEK and want to enjoy a fun dinner with friends. When I opted to pay by credit card the price went up by a dollar per item. On top of that they added a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. I understand minimum purchase requirements but I don't think these owners are very honest in their pricing.

Though I ordered delivery…read moreI can tell the dishes were made with love and their in person service would be just as great. I ordered their basic dishes but their flavors were far beyond that. The Garlic Naan were freshly made. The Tandoori Chicken arrived perfectly cooked, tender with the right amount char (though I did have to chop it up pieces myself). The curries, both Chicken Tikka Masala and Spiced Goat, were deliciously prepared and packed with all sorts of spices. What surprised me most was the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biriyani. This is a must try from the menu. I didn't dine in at the restaurant, but from already posted pictures it looks like a comfortable and inviting place. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes from their menu.
