Upon giving me the menu, they told me the ONLY thing I could order was brunch, and that they were giving me the menu to choose what I wanted for my hot drink, and my cold drink. I thought it was odd, that I could ONLY have brunch, since they had so much on their menu, but everyone else had a brunch plate so I went with it. Brunch consisted of a hot drink (I got a cappuccino), a cold drink (I got orange juice), a croissant, potatoes with a side of ketchup, tofu scramble with salsa and avocado, a pomegranate salad with vinaigrette, a pancake plate with whipped cream, syrup (you can choose between maple, chocolate, and caramel) fruits, and almonds. Cute spot to grab lunch in the Montageuil district. My five friends and I all had a Buddha bowl which consisted of quinoa, fresh and grilled vegetables, and a tahini sauce. For an extra €1.50 you could add a cold beverage or a vegan cupcake. It's a small place so seating is crowded but comfortable once you have a table. The prices compared to other specialty cafés are relatively cheap for Paris. This time around, I had the Chai Latte... fabulous, at that. This is an adorable vegan cafe not too far from the famous sights! I researched vegan croissants before my trip to Paris and Cloud Cakes had the highest rating AND was close to where I was staying. I ordered an espresso and a croissant for what I believed to be a reasonable price given the location. I wish I had been hungrier, as the food I saw on other people's tables looked delicious! I did get a cupcake to go after eating the croissant! I do not speak French and was easily able to order thanks to the kind staff. I started to eat outside but moved inside once it was became too windy. You are welcome to pitchers of water they have available. They have free WiFi and a beautiful interior. This place had, hands-down, the best croissants I have ever had anywhere, vegan or not. I had both a regular and an almond, and both were excellent. My boyfriend had the chocolate croissant and also loved it. They were served warm, and you can also get jams to go with them which were really good. Definitely impressed by this place, more so than other places that have vegan croissants. You would never guess they had no butter. Also had a cupcake, which was equally good. Off the beaten path but worth the effort of finding it. We had originally gone to Matamata but they ran out of ice and being that it was 90 degrees we really didn't want hot coffee.
