    Provençal crepe #amazing
    Annika P.

This tiny, cramped cafe was one I went to twice while in Paris! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. All the menu items are gluten-free and about half of the baked goods and desserts are too. Their gluten/dairy free macarons are amazing! I had the savory Provençal crepe that is made with buckwheat flour, eggs, tomatoes, olives, and zucchini; muffin with dried fruit at the bottom; blueberry muffin, and sampled their cookies as well. Everything was delicious! Definitely add it to your list of cafes to try while in Paris! Plus, they serve brunch and an early dinner too! (*Think organic wines and organic, gluten-free beer!!)

Delicious, great atmosphere, and very kind wait staff! Try the desserts of the day! Magnificent!

The house sangria is around 3.50€ and it was so light and delicious. We loved the dessert there (don't remember the name, but it was some sort of tropical flavored chantilly creme) and also tried the mussels and frites. The mussels were a little gritty, but the flavors were great. The onion soup was really good. The waiter was very, very friendly. He was so funny and super nice. This is a neighborhood gem....you see a lot of locals hanging out there. It's open until midnight.

We were greeted quickly and brought breakfast menus (with English captions). The breakfast offerings were 20x the options of what every other cafe had and this was the only one open at 630am. We enjoyed the brunch for 11 euro each which is about half the cost of every other cafe. The food came out quickly, was fresh, hot, and delicious. My girlfriend said the baguette and croissant was the best she had all trip. I'd like to note that they have numerous dishes, not just omelettes like all other cafes. Selection here was great. Also I found the other cafes to take hours to seat you, serve you, and get you on your way. This one was fast and friendly and perfect if you are trying to get a fast start on an early day. You can easily get out of here for $10 each with coffee if you'd like :). This was easily a 5 star breakfast joint and I only wish we would have found it sooner to try lunch and dinner. For gluten free, be smart and just avoid bread and sauce. I had ham, eggs, cafe, and orange juice and it was as great as a breakfast I'd cook for myself back home. Tons of other menu options that are gluten free if you don't eat the bread it's served with :).

I was intrigued by the healthy vegetarian vibe. It's conveniently located near the Saint Lazare train station. This works a bit like a cafeteria or Pret-A-Manger. They have meal deals where you can get an entree, side and drink, or you can purchase items a la carte. I opted for a fresh cod bowl with a side lentil salad. If you don't like lentils, avoid this place. It seemed like almost everything had lentils in it! This could've been because we arrived late at night, right before closing, and there weren't a lot of options still available that late in the day. They have a microwave with reheating instructions so you'll get it perfect. Plenty of seating, and they sell wine and beer too. Credit cards are accepted and even if you don't speak French, you can figure out how everything works here. I mean, you see your food before you purchase it so that removes a bit of the language barrier. Clean with friendly employees and reasonable portions. A great place if you're a vegan or vegetarian, and even meat eaters looking for healthy options will like this. It's not worth a special trip to eat here (since Paris is the world's culinary capital after all), but even in this city everyday fast food is still a mini gourmet experience.

The menu may be a bit confusing, but our server cleared up any questions. (a la carte vs prix fixe) We started with a complimentary terrine with gherkins and onions which were delicious. I had the Brittany scallops in a pesto and citrus dressing topped with parmigiana reggiano - absolutely amazing! Mains were the braised beef cheeks which were melt in your mouth and a tender roasted veal. The smoothest puréed potatoes and a crispy potato gaufrette were perfect accompaniments. The Grand Marnier soufflé was the perfect ending to an outstanding lunch. I look forward to returning to La Regalade for another lunch or perhaps dinner.

The ambiance of this restaurant was outstanding as we were warmly greeted when we entered and the restaurant is housed in an historic building about 400m from the Louvre. Only two tables were occupied by Americans which was a good sign. We ordered the tartare, foie gras, Octopus salad, duck and pork belly, all of which were delightfully prepared and tasted very good. We ordered Palova and the Soufflé for desert (both highly recommended). They had a very extensive wine list but we opted for the Charles Heidstick Brut Reserve by the glass which was very good. By far our best dinner while in Paris.

She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even helped us pair wines perfectly with our dishes. The risotto was incredible, the vegetable penne was delicious, the burrata salad was fresh and flavorful, and the pesto was superb.
