Expresó sugar bread and bruschetta w zucchini 22 euros

Our first stop in Paris, so we could take a load off and make time till we could checkin. Despite being outside of breakfast hours we enjoyed expresso and delicious pastries, staff was courteous and spoke English. Since I have point of comparison for French bakeries I might have to return to update this review rating.

This was another Gluten-Free bakery that was on my list for Paris and it didn't disappoint. It's located in a lovely area where there isn't any traffic. When you walk in the employees are friendly and wait patiently for you to decide. I cannot speak French and the gentlemen that worked there was kind enough to use English to help me. They have optional inside and outside seating. My husband and I sat inside. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I got the La marquise de popincourt and Moelleux au chocolat. The Moelleux au chocolat was amazing! It was bitter and sweet. I purchased the La marquise de popincourt to go. I sampled a piece and the lemon flavor was strong! A good strong, it's hard to find solid lemon pastries in America that actually taste like lemon and aren't sickly sweet. He got the Boulangerie, his was a bit dry but he enjoyed it. Definitely worth the walk! Thanks for having us. :)

Good place for gluten free people-there is a wide variety of gluten free breads available. However, the sweets can disappoint. Also, it's expensive and lacks a bit with variety of products, specially pastries.

Looking for gluten-free bakery in Paris? Look no further than Chambelland. If you haven't fallen in love with Paris, you will after eating at Chambelland, a petite gluten free bakery just a few blocks from the Metro. Their motto is appropriately, "In Crust We Trust." My husband has celiac's disease, which can make dining tricky when we're traveling abroad but Chambelland has more than a dozen delicious options from soups to sandwiches to pastries to breads. They create exceptional gluten-free fare, including breads, muffins, tarts, brownies, cookies and more. You'll be impressed by the vast selection and even more blown away by the quality and care of each pastry. The bread is among the best in the world and I'm a bread freakazoid. We tried the 5 Seed loaf and enjoyed it with jam and simply plain! It is perfectly crusted on the outside and soft, moist within. Divine. I've also tried and loved the lemon meringue tart, apple tarte, chocolate chip cookie, poppy seed cookie, and other small treats. Um, pretty much everything on the menu. There is free water, very little seating and quick, kind service. The prices are incredibly fair and if you are a gluten-free, this will become a place of your dreams! Pro Tips: - Grab a complimentary glass of water from the dining area - Be respectful of others' space and mindful of your conversation volume, because it is a very petite spot - Grab a table outside!

I have celiac and found this gluten free spot on my way home. The focaccia was delicious! Lots of beautiful pastry options. It was not a problem ordering in English.

The Mothership. That is all. Divine. The only day I wasn't here was because it was closed. I got up, ate breakfast. Walked here, bought cake. Ate cake. Joined queue again. Bought bread. Bought more cake. Dragged those purchases all over town, munching as I went. Super busy and only a few sit in seats which are quickly filled when you see whats on offer. I had framboise tarts and apple tarts. Bread wise I had the plain bread but one day I got the focaccia - onions and anchovies, this is divine and is perfect washed down with Champagne. Seriously. If you are gluten free, you have to come here. Come hungry, buy lots. Enjoy every mouthful.

Absolutely delicious! Got the chocolate tart and the citrus meringue tart, both were SUPERB! The chocolate was super dark and melted in my mouth. The meringue wasn't overly sweet, and had a nice amount of zest in it. My husband and I came back that same day to try the sandwiches. The bread didn't look that great, but as soon as we took our first bite, we were in awe... incredible!! The tomatoes used in the sandwich were so fresh, and the prosciutto was just the right amount of salty. The bread tasted amazing, and we couldn't even tell it was gluten free. We will definitely be back!

Good gluten free bakery. Wish they had more pastry options. Service was fast and the server was very helpful in explaining everything available.

I was so excited to try this gluten free bakery. It was the best find for me and I wanted to try everything there. Eat in or take out. But check the hours. We only caught it open once.

It's difficult to find a nice gluten free bakery in Paris. I have a rare desire to go looking for them because I have no immediate need... But a friend is gluten intolerant, so I decided to tag along. No complaints. I had a strawberry tart which was good -- for being gluten free. It was missing a little creamy something. I wish they came up with some substitute. I also had a citronnade, which I assumed was something akin to a lemonade. I was wrong. It wasn't sugared! Nonetheless the tart and lemon beverage together set me back 7 euro. Not bad, but not cheap cheap ;). It's really cute though! seating interior and exterior!!! Not a huge selection of pastry -- simpler more rustic items and bread. I didn't try the bread.

    Chestnut mousse dessert. Delicious!
    Jessica K.

The best bakery in Paris! Everything is gluten-free! And the bread is actually fluffy and looks/tastes normal! We tried olive bread, ginger bread, a chestnut mousse dessert, brownie, chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie, nut and seed power bars, and banana bread, and everything was delicious! I ended up going back a second time to get more to bring home to the states! The best time to visit the bakery is earlier in the day so that you have more to choose from, because once they run out that's it. They have seating inside and outside which is nice for breakfast or lunch. Great place!!

We are still talking about the sandwiches and focaccia! Delicious. Also the eclairs. Best GF so far in Paris and we have tried several.

And interestingly she has heard about Atlanta so that was cool. Anyway... There was a line when we swung by as it was on a Sunday around lunch time. I guess brunch is still a thing regardless of where you are. But surprisingly with just the two of us, we only waited a few minutes and was seated almost right away. The latte we had was so so. Nothing spectacular to mention. The latte art was pretty and made the latte taste prettier. Yes, I said taste prettier. You partially consume food with your eyes anyway. The chicken parmigiana was so so. There wasn't really anything to really call out, good nor bad. Overall it was good so don't get me wrong, but nothing worth raving about nor to diss. It was a thick cut of chicken with a generous amount of cheese. Their chips were different to me, but that's just me and my limited exposure to different types of foods. The hubs' pick of ceviche was actually pretty delicious. It's not something you'd think Aussie's would do well. But then again, I don't really know much about Australian food. It's actually not something I'd think Australians would have on their menu in general. The thick cuts of fish were really good. The hubs really enjoyed this pick very much. The bits and pieces of strawberries and avocados were a nice touch. Overall the food was good. This spot seems to be popular in general. Hit it up if you're wanting to try Australian food!

This is an incredible and unique restaurant…read more First off.....read the reviews. They don't do walk in business. Reservation only. Why? Well the owner (Claude) is the chef, maitrade, waiter, bus boy, dishwasher, sommelier. He is a one man show. He needs to have seatings to execute the process. It is incredible to watch. Beautiful in his way. For all that give a bad review because you don't listen or learn, shame on you. We come to France every year. We go to see Claude every time. Incredible food on a wonderfully changing menu. We have never been dissappointed. If he has foie gras o the menu get it. Best in the city. Everything is good and fresh, but I just love his Fois Gras. Great wine and a really nice price. You cannot be disappointed here. Dinner takes time. No rush. Enjoy the food, the wine and the wonderful one man show. It is 200% worth it.

What a fabulous experience we had here. We will definitely come back when we are next in Paris…read more We were the first customers to arrive for the evening and we're warmly welcomed. It's a small place, with less than 10 tables, and it soon became clear that the restaurant was fully booked for the evening. By the time our main courses arrived, it was clear to us that this restaurant is run by one wonderful man. He is the host, bartender, waiter, busboy, and chef; and he does it all with infectious delight! You have the feeling that there is nothing he would rather be doing than serving you. Do get the crème brulée. My BF and typically share a dessert, but this time we got our own and were glad we did. That memory will last! Next time, one, or both, of us will get a flambé
