My friends and I ordered a kettle of Kashmiri chai to try. Service was good and the chai came out in a few minutes. Unfortunately, the chai was disappointing. The color looked great, and I was expecting a rich flavor of chai, but it ended up tasting very watery. Honestly speaking, it was more like hot water rather than a tea. We ended up forcing ourselves to finish the kettle before heading home. I was quite disappointed because I had high hopes. However, I am willing to give it a second chance and try a different drink on their menu and hope for a better experience because Ilike the atmosphere and the overall concept of the place.

Not overly sweet, not soggy or swimming in espresso...just incredibly fresh. It's one of the best I've had in a long time. Their cakes definitely set the bar high. I enjoyed the atmosphere just as much. The outdoor patio is spacious, making it a great spot to meet up with friends, bring your laptop to get a little work or studying done, or simply enjoy a coffee. The space is warm, welcoming, and filled with beautiful, unique furniture. While in there, you almost forget you're in Orange County. Highly recommend! I didn't stay long as there was some annoying guy who'd set up office at a table with his AirPods firmly inserted and loudly giving legal advice in an obnoxious manner that is typical of ambulance-chaser lawyers. Simply delicious! Cloud Cafe has fluffy eggs, thick crispy bacon, light and flavorful pancakes and waffles, and the syrup is exquisite. We received a whole carafe of their tasty coffee and in tiny bowl we were gifted a special cherry plum as well, so many extra special touches. Our food was served on beautiful plates, coffee cups with saucers, and had powdered sugar and parsley sprinkles. So aesthetically pleasing as well. The service was very attentive and we plan to go back tomorrow. Don't be fooled by the business looking building, upstairs is a quaint air conditioned place to get an amazing breakfast. read more

This place became a staple in our mornings after the birth of our second child. Their breakfast burritos are delicious! Fluffy eggs, soft tortillas, yummy turkey sausage, and a generous side of allll the goods - salsa, guac, and sour cream. It's tucked away and the top of a small office type building so it's a little hard to find at first. I think it's a family owned business and who doesn't love supporting local small businesses? My friend and I sat there for hours talking and never once felt rushed. The ambience and phenomenal service make this a must visit. I can't wait to come back!

We also tried a few other dishes at the table. The chilaquiles were fantastic. The tortilla chips had a great crunch and were not soggy at all. Even though they looked heavily sauced in pictures the ratio was actually perfect. Enough salsa for flavor while still keeping the chips crispy. The salsa itself was very good and the egg on top was perfectly runny and yolky which was a big plus. The version with added cheese was also great. Service really stood out. One of our friends asked for no cheese on their chilaquiles and it accidentally came out with cheese. The staff handled it so kindly. They took it back immediately and as an apology one of the owners or cooks came out personally and brought us complimentary pancakes. That small gesture really showed how much they care. The owners were incredibly sweet and kept checking in asking if everything was good and sharing how much care and time they put into making everything homemade. You could genuinely feel that passion. Huge props to Forest Cafe. I would absolutely recommend it. A great little brunch and breakfast spot and definitely a place we will be coming back to.
