Great service by Jacob, mobile operator, comes to your location to copy car keys. I already bought the blank car key and remote fob. I was able to program remote myself but still need key cut. He told me about 20 minutes until arrival and showed up on time. Very professional and knowledgeable of his craft. He charged me $95 because I needed it done today but told me if I could wait another day next week it would of been $50. He first used one of his blank keys to first check the cut, then when it worked he proceeded to cut my blank key. I asked if he would destroy the key he made with his and he just gave it to me. I sent a quote out on Yelp for a key fob that had not been working even after I had a new battery installed. I rec'd a response from this company and after I called, Jake said he could come to my house and look at the key fob. He arrived as he said he would and started checking things out. He said he would have to return the following day b/c the key fob he brought wasn't the correct one. So he returned the next day. I had to get a new key fob after he determined mine wasn't fixable. Jake also replaced the keyhole on the driver's side that had been vandalized and he rekeyed it so both my fobs can open the door so I don't need the valet key. Jake was very, very thorough ensuring ALL the keys worked. I was very satisfied with his work even though I had to buy a new key fob but I saved money by not buying through the dealership. Clone Key Auto was awesome to work with. I needed an 05 Tahoe rekeyed and ignition repaired after it being stolen and recovered. I had called a few places before speaking to Jake and they were all (imo) expensive to do a seemingly easy 1-2 hr job. Jake was unavailable the evening I called, totally understandable, and instead of just getting back to me the following day, he offered to get me in touch with a colleague of his to do the repair that night. That's pretty awesome customer service if you ask me. I told him it wasn't urgent since we have other cars we could drive in the meantime. So he quoted me and was very thorough with explaining possible additional cost and the reasons being. His pricing was very reasonable and he showed up the next morning with his partner Javier.
