10 stars! I went to start my car one morning and my key just stopped working. I called the dealership and they quoted me $600 for a new one and to reprogram. After calling around a few places I found Jake. He was out on another job and told me he would be able to come out and see if I needed a new key or not when he was finished. A while back I was given a safe that required a key or key/combination to open. Luckily, the combo feature was not set up. Unfortunately, I lost the only key! I shopped around via Yelp and got a few responses: - $300+ to "crack" open the safe (drill?); - We don't do that; - Not sure/send me a picture, followed by a $250 quote to basically break open the safe. I settled on Jake because of his follow-through. He also asked for a picture and serial number, then requested a follow-up call to go over a few things related to the safe. He explained that if the safe combination was set, picking the lock would not open it, but added that if it wasn't, he could easily "pick" the lock (confidence in ability). He even referenced the safe's manual, demonstrating that he researched my request. I appreciated his thoroughness. Jake showed up the following morning, as promised. He was professional yet friendly, clean, and got right to work. It took longer for him to set up than it did for him to open the safe! Total time? Much less than 5 minutes.
