Absolutely love this place! Luz is so good with our yorkie who is impossible to take to the groomers and she works with her just fine she's very patient with her and very sweet. Her prices are fair and she so honest with us with what needs to get done she's not just saying extra stuff. She has the cutest outfits there too I love buying them and dressing up out dog. Highly recommend this place!!! read more

Clips N' Snips - After she shaved fifi came out so well! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Clifton, New Jersey

I love this place!!!! They're always taking care of my fur baby. I have a 4yr old Yorkie that loves this place. Luz and the girls really makes him feel comfortable and makes him fly ever time. He prances out of there after his Blueberry facial (he's a bougie pup) read more

I've been taking my dog here for about a year and was always satisfied with the service. However, yesterday i picked up my dog and although she had been washed, she had not been groomed well (fur was falling off her in clumps, no bandana, etc.) In spite of this I was charged the same price -about $65. When i asked why the service level had changed they said they did the best they could because my dog doesn't like the dryer. I find this ridiculous considering it's never been that much of a problem the last 5 times i brought her there. I could have given her a bath myself and saved the $. I will not be using this groomer again. read more

This was our first time taking Apollo, our 4y.o. Yorkie, to Clips N' Snips.. after years of taking him elsewhere. I was nervous about trying out a new groomer.. but we were so happy with the results! They did such a great with Apollo. The establishment is very clean, the staff is friendly, and you can see your pup as they are getting groomed. Thank you Luz for taking great care of Apollo.. will definitely be back!! read more

Clips N' Snips - Apollo enjoying his new haircut - Pet Groomers Near Me - Clifton, New Jersey

We are very grateful to have found Clips N Snips. Mr. Magoo, Mr. Wilson, and Mr. Buddha are all very happy. We have been searching for a new groomer for years. We finally had to use a chain store but didn't feel good about that. We are very happy and comfortable with Clips. I'm really particular about my three boys and I highly recommend them. read more

Great grooming service! Almost don't want to write a review to avoid the appointments filling up, but that wouldn't be fair. They always do an amazing job with my Prince leaving his fur feeling soft and smelling great. I've tried other groomers in the area and would receive my dog a bit damp or still with some dog funk where you're able to immediately tell they didn't do a thorough job. But fortunately that hasn't happened here and we've been going here for over a year now. Prices are very fair, especially for the quality. read more

Brought my little Yorkie in for a well needed haircut - the owner Luz was very nice and informative before booking my appointment as well as during the appointment. The prices are reasonable and I felt it was a true day of pampering for Benji since his service included a haircut and bath, ear cleaning and plucking, and nails cutting. Will be visiting Clips N Snips again! read more

The woman who runs this business has a very nasty attitude and it is very unpleasant to deal with. Very unprofessional.

My Sabrina love when Luz pamper her. Luz does such a wonderful job.

I came in with a lot of questions since it's my first time here and we all know doing research is important, like types of products they use and where they put her after being washed etc. the girl was unfriendly and didn't seem like she wanted to answer any of my questions. I brought my pup for just a dog wash. She definitely didn't come out smelling like roses but she was clean I guess. She still smelled. I was afraid to say anything to the women because they already seemed very defensive. Even though I paid and tipped I wasn't happy with odor. We all know dogs have odors but that's what I thought I paid 60 bucks for. They also are not creating anything memorable with the experience, upon arrival at other grooming places they provide a creative bandanna or bow after the dog has been washed or groomed. Which costs next to nothing... and It leaves a nice impression, but they don't do that here. One plus is they gave parking right in the front! read more

This is a really cute grooming salon and my dog loved the 2 groomers that he had there. Unfortunately, they have both left the business. Additionally, the young lady that owns/runs the salon makes me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. She doesn't seem to appreciate that my dog has been coming to her salon once or twice a month for around 2 years. Additionally, the prices seem to change depending on her mood. However, I pay because my baby doesn't like new people or places and I always try to provide a decent gratuity, as I love my fur baby and appreciate someone providing him nice service. But I think I've had enough and I'm looking for a new salon home for my baby boo read more

This was my first appointment at Clips N' Snips and I was so impressed! My yorkipoo Lola was very well taken care of and looks adorable with her new haircut. She also smells amazing! The staff is very friendly and informative which is also a plus. I will be taking Lola back there regularly. I definitely recommend Clips N' Snips for all your doggy grooming needs! read more

I took my 7 year-old beagle mix in yesterday for a full grooming and de-shedding, and I will definitely be returning. Luz is very friendly and did a great job with my dog. He is usually very apprehensive about having his claws trimmed, but Luz was able to file all of his claws no problem, so he must have liked her. He also looks and smells great, and I notice already that his shedding has substantially decreased. Furthermore, Luz's shop is brand new, spacious, and very clean. I have not maintained a normal grooming schedule in the past, because I had not found the right groomer, but I definitely plan to come back to Clips N' Snips on a regular basis. Highly recommended! read more

Overall amazing! Luz did a great job with my yorkie who needed a lot of work. I'm looking forward to go back in a couple of weeks for a quick touch up and check the new location out. Thanks Luz keep up the good work. read more

I Took my dog Coco and my Moms dog Benji for the first time in December. They did a great job and the owner was very sweet and professional. Love how they came out smelling really good and sooo clean. They really take there and you can tell how happy they were. I haven't had the time to schedule my next appointment but will do soon along with my moms pet. read more

They made me sign a release and I found out why. One of the groomers a you girl named Melissa shaved too closely to my dogs eye. When I picked him up my dogs eye was swollen shut read more

Wonderful! I brought my 14 year old one eyed shih tzu here for the first time after reading the reviews on Yelp. My dog has a bad back, bad leg, poor eyesight and I didn't want her stuck in a cage all day while multiple dogs were groomed (as groomers do, which I understand but with Maddy's age, I would prefer her in and out). I used a mobile groomer in the past for this reason and he recently sold his business. So I agonized over yelp reviews researching where I could take my precious little senior. I came across Clips N Snips and I was impressed by the reviews and the pictures. Every dog looks great!!! Everyone seemed very happy with their experiences here. I stopped in this past Sunday to see if they had availability for an older dog that they could groom straight through. Everyone was SO friendly. Luz came out and took the time to talk to me, said they could definitely accommodate a grooming straight through and not charge extra for it. They explained their services and I made the appointment for later that week. I was impressed by how clean the shop was and how friendly everyone was. I brought Maddy in for her cut a few days later and they didn't rush me in and out at drop off. They discussed what cut I would like, their services and no one rushed me - they actually took the time to listen to me and what I was looking for with Maddy. A few hours later I got the call for her pick up. She looked GREAT!!!! Best cut she's had in a LONG time.....fabulous. Great price too! I made our next appointment while we were there. I definitely felt safe leaving her there and she was very calm and relaxed when I picked her up. I'm picky because she's my baby, but I have to be extra careful now because of her age and her "ailments". They took great care of her! And her cut is FABULOUS! I will definitely recommend to all Maddy's friends at the park. :) read more

This place is beyond amazing!!! I called yesterday to see if they had any openings between yesterday and today, as I had off for the weekend, they were able to squeeze us in for first thing this morning. My husband and I have two dogs a yorkie 2 1/2 years old and a cockapoo 13 years old. Our cockapoo has what we like to call "old man warts" on his back, head and shoulders. They took great care of him to not hit or cut them like we have experienced at other grooming facilities. They did their cuts exactly how we wanted them not missing a piece of fur here and there and having them look uneven as we've also experienced. I couldn't have asked for a better place and without a doubt this will definitely be where we take them to. I highly recommend clips n snips to any dog owners or pet parents that want to take their fur babies to a place that they will be taken care of like one of their own. By far the most amazing groomer we've been to. read more

First visit an I must say AWESOME! Will recommend bringing your pet here for grooming! Five stars.

I brought my two kittens in for caps on their nails and a bath. I thought they would be terrors but with the kindness of the staff, you could tell my cats felt comfortable with them. I loved how sweet Luz and the staff were with them. I appreciated being able to trust them and was able to leave them there without any worries. I would recommend them to any of my friends!!! read more

They did an awesome job on our morkie! He got the most cutest puppy cut ever - we can't get over how adorable he looks. Our fur baby still looks like he just stepped out of the salon even after more than a week. We will be going back for sure :) keep up the amazing work! read more

We are so happy we found Clips N' Snips. Thomas had a nail emergency that was causing him a great deal of discomfort. I called this morning to see if Clips N' Snips could help, and they happily told us to come right over. They took him immediately, gave him such loving care and skillfully took care of the problem. We had to bring our other dog with us and, though I hadn't inquired about her nails, they kindly offered to give her a trim! We are very appreciative and look forward to many more grooming appointments! Thank you very much! read more

Took my bully here today for the first time, very nice ladies and did an amazing job! Couldn't be any happier!

Recently moved to Montclair with our baby who was in need of a grooming. Tried another groomer with good reviews in the same area and we were not happy. Took our little man who hates getting groomed to Luz and he was scared at first but he gave her a kiss after a minute and assured us we would not be waiting all day. She called us when he was almost done so we could get him as soon as she was finished and he looked and smelled amazing. This was the best he has ever looked and he was a happy dog which made us 2 happy dog parents!! We will recommend to everyone and never go anywhere else. Thanks again Luz! read more

I loved this place. This is my dogs new groomer. She was wonderful and so patient with him. He hadn't had a haircut in months.
