Window Cleaning was great... I can actually see out of my windows now and they did a thorough job in both interior and exterior without any upsells. They also cleaned the other mirrors in my house as a courtesy. Moss removal... just wow, see pics attached. Gutter cleaning... this is where they went way above and beyond. Long story short, I had a leak in the elbow of one of my downspouts shortly after they finished their cleaning. Naturally, I was confused why this was the case right after the gutters were cleaned by Hendrix. It turns out that the gutters (which are brand new) were installed improperly without proper egress for some of the downspouts. They came back out and helped me diagnose these issues for all of my downspout and helped me think about how to communicate to my gutter company, even though it turned out that none of this was their fault. I will default to Hendrix Window Cleaning in the future for the services that they provide. Beyond competency and professionalism (which is hard enough to find), trust and thoughtfulness are characteristics that they exemplify

Working with the owner was OK. I got 3 bids and Stewart roofing was the lowest but there is a catch that you'll need to consider. Stewart's bid doesn't include Ice and Water shield. It wasnt on the bid as an option either. The others did include it. When i inquired about this i was informed it wasn't necessary. I did some research and 99% of other companies i checked with said its important. Im scratching my head at this point. I had somewhat of a working relationship with Stewart (they did a previous repair which went great) so i took Richard's word cause of his longevity in the career. I asked a lot of questions and they finally gave a cost to do it which i should of accepted but thought it was too high so i didn't. Im a bit concerned about that but only time will tell. The roof seems fine for the most part. Im not an expert. The job went fine with a couple hiccups. I struggled with leaving a review considering my concerns but here i am. My house is on a greenbelt and we had a ton of wind storms over the last year. I know my gutters needed to be cleaned, however I didn't realize how bad they were clogged. From what Jason mentioned, it was pretty gross. Jason came by and did everything by himself (I expected a big team as it's a lot of work!) and he explained the work that would be done beforehand. He even saw some issues with the siding of my house and showed me the photo so I could get it fixed. He is an all around good dude. I think the biggest revelation with just how bad our gutters were clogged and windows dirty came just a few hours after Jason left. It was raining, and I had heard water loudly dripping down some pipes and I thought I had a leak somewhere. I had a slight panic. Then I realized, oh yeah! I remember that sound. That's the sound of a clean gutter when it is functioning properly! Now I know if I don't hear that sound when it rains, I need to make a call. Also, right before then, a poor little bird came swooping down from a tree and collided with our large and VERY clean kitchen window. That's how clean it was. Poor little guy didn't even see it. He chilled on the patio for a bit and shook it off. He and the window were fine. Anyway.. great people. Great job! We called for a quote as everything is in Washington I expected unreasonable prices and inflation, but 500% more, thank you drive through. We should had know when the lady who sent the quote wanted to explain it. When she did she included nonsense like trees over the roof, we don't have any trees taller than the housese house or above the roof . Then she went to the aspect of the house, it gets full sun all day, again no trees. I would throw in if that was an issue, it's not, only half or a quarter of the house would face that direction. I live in a nicer area but not extravagant. It's obvious that they drove into a nicer area and said, Ummm, X + 500%. This is criminal, get multiple quotes or skip these guys all together. Seattle Suds responded to my request for a quote same day and we were able to schedule a visit so I could walk them through the work to build out the quote. While here they explained their process and talked specifically around the considerations they would make for different materials- especially the fence and lattice as older materials can't always take the full force of water. They also washed the easement on the side of the house careful to note that asphalt has a coating and they would treat that carefully as to not compromise the asphalt. The quote was super helpful as it broke down different aspects of the job so I could understand where the costs went up or down. They were able to schedule us quickly as we had our own deadline to get the work done. Our patio has seen 15+ years of Seattle weather and while the original fence has maybe a couple years left in it Seattle Suds work was remarkable in its results. Work was done in a morning. They made themselves available for a last check in before they got started and when done walked the work with us. Highly recommended for the straightforward experience in setting up the job, the job itself, and I was able to pay with Apple Pay as the method which is as easy as it gets.
