In all honesty we were really hoping to like this place. The venue is beautiful, the views incredible. The food was alright. The service was the worst I think I have ever encountered. It took 30 minutes to get our drink order delivered, we finally got our food order taken by a manager. As I mentioned previously, the food was fine. Once we were done we waited another 20 minutes for our check which the server took our card before we had a chance to look over the receipt. The check was $30 too much and included a couple things we didn't even order. It was then another 15 minutes to get the correct amount charged to our card and the other amount refunded. A manager never stopped by to talk to us. It was overall really disappointing. read more

Bloody Mary was actually good, everything else was horrible. Waited for 45 minutes for our meal, then the food was pretty awful. All the breading on the chicken slipped right off, and the food seemed like it sat under a heat lamp for the 45 minutes that we waited. read more

In love with the sushi and the amazing waitress my husband and I had tonight! We had Keisha(pronounced Keesha not kesha!) probably the most fun we've had with our waitress in a very long time! I have only been here for brunch. Food and service has always been good. New owners seem to care a lot more about the place than the old owners did. It's a bit on the pricey side, but up to par for the type of restaurant it is. Hope to get in to try the lunch or dinner menu soon. read more

Love this place! Went with a large group and not only did they accommodate our groups size but they gave us great service! Food and drinks were great...prices are not bad at all for the type of restaurant/bar and a great atmosphere...stayed around to spend some time in the bar area after dinner and was so nice to not have to head somewhere else after eating! We chose Cliff to host a bridal shower. I was hesitant to do it at a restaurant, but bridal showers are a lot of work so I thought I'd try it. It exceeded our expectations! When I went in 30 minutes early with balloons and decorations they knew exactly who I was and led me to a fairly private room with 2 tables and a gift table that I was welcome to decorate to my heart's content. Brynn was one of our servers and went above and beyond in making sure we had what we needed. She checked in with me frequently to make sure I had what I needed, and personally introduced herself to the bride. The stress it took away from me was amazing, and I was able to actually enjoy the shower! I would highly recommend this place for hosting an event. read more

Very cool spot with an a tremendous view. The menu is great. Not too complex, but with some exceptional selections. We had a pasta, some fish tacos, and the cheese & charcuterie board. There are a number of great local brews available and some delicious wines. The craft cocktails are interesting and very good. read more

Update: Went there on a Friday night and both the food and service were exceptional. We were checked on by the management and the host staff. Dramatic improvement from the review I posted back in January. The great service makes the food better tasting. We'll be back for sure. read more

Should have posted this a while ago, but first chance I've had, worst Mother's Day experience EVER, make your own decision but don't say you weren't warned. Super disappointed in the food here. We had a party of 15 and sat at the bar while they got our tables ready. The bar staff acted like they were put out that we were ordering drinks. We got seated and our waitress Bailey was AMAZING! Our coconut shrimp appetizer came out and it was hard, like rubber. We sent it back and a new one came out. It was actually good. Two of our group ordered the halibut and I ordered the filet mignon medium rare. The halibut came out hard and rubbery. My filet came out well done. When you pay $38 for a filet mignon it should come out right. They sent our food back and we had to wait for our entire party to eat before we got our food. I am no one to complain but this was the worst place I've ever been when they try to present themselves as a classy place. Never going back and will make sure I let everyone I know about it. What a gem to find!! We were visiting from Southern California and needed a relaxing family friendly restaurant close to our hotel! We literally hit the jackpot when we found The Cliff Dining Pub on Yelp! First off, amazing views. Our family was greeted with smiles, given the booth upon request and had the sweetest waitress, Mercedes! Everyone from the hostess to the bus service were courteous, polite, and helpful! Mercedes had a few large parties but still managed to give us constant attention. My kids enjoyed their chicken tenders and burger (huge portions) while my husband and I devoured our burrata appetizer, wedge salad, sushi roll and fish/chips!!! After a day at the ski slopes, we needed a relaxing atmosphere with delicious food! We certainly found it here! Thank you "The Cliff Dining Pub" PS: The Wednesday live musician was fabulous! The variety and quality of the menu alone definitely makes this a place I'll have to visit frequently. The view is amazing and the interior of the restaurant is stunning. I tried quite a few small plates (all of which were delicious and super distinct, i.e., the edimame made w peanut sauce and bacon, I know it sounds weird but they were crazy delicious). Service is so poor... We get that it's Easter but they probably should've prepared for the holiday better... They said they were busy but there are at least 10 tables open that I see... Had a large group of 20 people for a 830pm reservation, which was pushed back to 915, the complimentary appetizers sent by the hostess were very kind and appreciated as we were all hungry by that point. I ordered calamari @$14 it was over cooked and extremely chewy although the breading was perfect. The steak and fries @$36 was horrible, fries were mushy and smothered in truffle oil. The steak was supposed to come with some kind of aioli but because it sat under the heating lamps for so long it turned into a crust and the steak came out tough and dry, Ive had better $10 steaks from Dennys. As a side note the filet mignon for just $2 more was supposedly amazing. I can't speak for everyone at the table but the people around me all had something negative or less than positive to say about their experience from the kitchen. The floor staff was obviously overwhelmed and did the best they could which was admirable and we appreciated their hard work. Bottom line, I'll come back to give them another chance in summer and see if my experience and review improves. read more

I recently tried this place with a group of friends after hearing so much about it for quite a while. The service was kind of lacking and somehow, even though we had made a reservation, got stuck sitting in the bar area as opposed to the main dining room. It was fine but super loud which I'm not into. I prefer not to yell at my friends over dinner. Also, it's right next to Cactus and Tropicals who I guess had a wedding or an event happening, so there wasn't any available parking. We were made to park at the Walgreens around the corner and down a really steep hill which sucks to walk up and down in heels. They had a shuttle, but I'm impatient and didn't want to miss our reservation so yeah. Beyond that, the food was so good! Good enough to make me come back again honestly. We all stuck to the main dinner menu, but I'm so excited to try the place again and test out their sushi menu. Other than the reservation mix up and slower than I'd like service, it was a yummy dinner! I'd try it again. I'll just wear better shoes for the walk next time I guess. read more

Great looking place with great view. Good food BUT horrible service. At 130 pm on Saturday went into bar where 6 people were seated and we sat at bar. She asked immediately what we wanted to drink. We had no menus and she brought no menus. We finally found a menu at a table got up and got it. She is looking at as cluelessly. 10 minutes later she yells from the bar what do want to drink. She doesn't approach us just yels from 8 feet away. Very unprofessional. Extremely self absorbed. She has to be the worst bar tender I have experienced. She isn't professional enough to work at McDonald's let alone here. Owners she give her the boot. Either that or she's related to them. read more
