I saw a post from Pinch of Salt Pastries and immediately added this place to my list of shops to visit. So of course while driving through Grapevine I made them my first stop! I am kind of obsessed and so glad to say that this place now holds the title of my favorite coffee shop in Grapevine! Not only do they carry White Rock Coffee espresso for their lattes, but the space in generally is right up my ally. White Rock is by far my favorite espresso in TX so far. You will never have a bad drink from a place that serves it up in their lattes. The customer service is amazing too. It made me want to stay and enjoy the space. It also was kind of quiet in there too and that's exactly what I needed. I got this artsy, hippie, mid century vibe with the plants placed here and there. I LOVED it all. I wish they were closer to me so I could frequent more often, but now I have something to look forward to the next time I'm in that area again. They also have GF/Vegan options which always immediately gets 5 stars from me haha. read more

I can't speak for the waffles but the day I went I never got to try them because the wait to eat just one was so long. The coffee, however, I did try and still wish I hadn't. My latte was heavily acidic and tasted nowhere near what it was supposed to. For all the coffee lovers out there--their espresso was very very off. When I looked at their bar it looked like a very light colored wild stream was coming out of the machine and was clearly not pulling for nearly long enough. Absolutely would not recommend. If you're looking for waffles or coffee, go somewhere else. read more

Cute little spot. Sparse on the inside this business doesn't feel like a coffee shop but its nice in its minimalist way. Several places to sit and enjoy the solitude I had a Cortado beverage and cheesecake waffle. My coffee was great, the cashier explained to me that they use Oat Milk unless otherwise specified, I went with the oat and it was really nice. The waffle was also wonderful with sweet but not too sugary/sweet ingredients. The dessert felt light and fluffy, I ate the whole thing while sipping my specialty coffee at a leisurely pace and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and place clean. read more

Pluses- great customer service, great prices and very cute. Breakfast waffle was very tasty. Minuses - plain waffle is very dense. Flavor is good, but if you're expecting a traditional type waffle, it's not the same. Also - it was served on a metal tray with parchment paper. The paper gets soggy and tears when you cut into the waffle. Pretty sure I ate some paper with my waffle. read more

Here's the deal if you mostly only serve waffles the waffles should be epic. Giant fluffy wonderful waffles. Instead what you get is a small sometime dense weird waffle. I got the breakfast waffle which was good and somehow the waffle was light and fluffy compared to my wife's who ordered the regular waffle. I also got a large latte which was good. The other disappointment was they were out of avocado toast at 9am on a Saturday and they open at 8. Positives, coffee is good and it's a cute quant little place right off main. I love to support local so will try them again and hope they have avocado toast. read more

The descriptions are completely misleading. The waffles are dry and lacking in taste. The "breakfast waffle" was a congealed blob of cheddar and a tablespoon of cold scrambled eggs slapped on said waffle and the "crema" only came with one of our orders. The raspberry waffle was marginally better mostly bc anything with Nutella and the most generic raspberry jam (not preserves as they say) would be good. 2 stars for the coffee, which was decent. Not coming back unless their quality drastically improves. $40 for 3 waffles and 2 drinks down the drain. read more

Heavy. The place is quaint and in the midst of the old town. Perhaps the local taste is for heavy food; biscuits and gravy and that sort of thing. But I found it to be thick and a bit doughy. Just not what I was hoping for. Hope your experience is a better one. read more

Best coffee in the area! We have been looking for a good coffee place (and have tried just about every one in our area) and this is the best place! It's nice to sit and drink a French press with a waffle or take a latte to go. They also change their menu frequently so you won't get bored. They also use oat meal as their main milk so you don't have to worry about the up charge to avoid dairy! Not to mention the staff are so nice and helpful. read more

Location is great; very cute outdoor patio. Inside was clean and staff was friendly. The menu is very interesting with a lot of unique flavor combos. The only downside were sadly the waffles. The place is quaint enough. My waffle was good. The service was "ok". The xtra bone dry cappuccino I ordered had to be made twice and still came out as a latte. I visited Brew and Batter and could have not been more disappointed! i asked for a recommendation from the female server taking orders. The waffle she suggested was hard and dry, and tasteless. When i showed the cashier how hard and dry my order was, she could not have cared less. She acknowledged that it was very hard and dry..didn't offer to replace it or make me something different, and was borderline rude. I was very unimpressed and will NOT be returning. On a Sunday morning at 10 am was told they were out of waffles.... ordered avocado toast and black coffee to be supportive of this new local business. Took 10 minutes for black coffee and ended up canceling my toast order as it took 30+plus minutes and I had to get on with my day.
