It was a refreshing, pleasant surprise to call the Clickaway store in Campbell and hear a well spoken, friendly, knowledgeable person answer the phone in person after only 2 rings! Wow. This was the first moment of an outstanding customer service experience at Clickaway which emphasizes a personal touch in delivering individualized customer focus. When I visited the store, I was equally impressed to find a spacious, airy environment where the repair shop is entirely open and visible to customers coming in. Comfortable desks and chairs invite the customers to sit down with the Clickaway experts to discuss their technology requirements. Instead of regular 'sales people,' the technologists serve more as personal consultants. The atmosphere there felt relaxed and welcoming. It was fun to be able to see the technologists at work in what is usually a 'behind the scenes' back room. I was appreciative of an apparent 'transparency' in the way the Clickaway technologists perform and deliver their service. Specifically, I was looking for a new laptop with lots of sturdy functionality to support a travel-heavy career which takes me to many corporate offices in various cities on planes, trains and taxis. It meant a lot when Sam, a veteran Clickaway expert, listened so patiently while I explained my extensive laptop requirements. Sam's first suggestion was a less expensive model than the one I purchased; but when I explained that I needed 3 USB ports, a built-in camera, VGA capacity, speed, great screen resolution, good speakers/microphone and airport TSA durability, he introduced me to the Lenovo T430. It's gorgeous! When we agreed that this was the best model for me, Sam carefully transferred all of the data from my 4 year old, fading laptop onto the T430 after doing a thorough scan and scrub of the older hard drive. He wanted to make sure that the data arrived on the new equipment in pristine condition. I was impressed by the personal care Sam took in setting up my new machine and the generosity he invested in training me how to use it. My new Lenovo T430 is AMAZING - its solid, smooth, fast, comprehensive, elegant functionality is a joy to work with - its classic design and dependability a relief and source of confidence. I'm proud to open this laptop in my client offices. Beyond the first class equipment, though, I want to stress how rare and inspiring it was to be the recipient of the kind, professional, skillful service I received from Sam and others. A young woman named Trang (fluent in Vietnamese and English) also helped out when I wanted to look inside the machine, and a nice fellow named James was the friendly voice who called me personally to let me know that my new Lenovo T430 was ready for pickup. I can't say enough about the good will and competence demonstrated by everyone I encountered. The Clickaway culture is highly unusual for its 'low tech,' 'hands on,' personal touch in a high tech, increasingly impersonal world. Going to a computer repair store is much like a selecting a car mechanic or home services agent. A good veneer at the onset, ending frequently in invoice arguments and dysfunctional results. One believes that all hope must be abandoned upon entering the service center. This is not so with Click Away. The people are cordial, listen to the user foibles and complaints and then recommend a repair with a clear explanation and often precise cost to complete estimate. Should the charges exceed the original estimate, the customer is given an explanation of the repair requirements and a detailed explanation of the revised estimate in time, money and potential collateral damage to the installed base of the system. This has been my experience with Click Away over the past five to six years. On item I hold in high regard is the corporation's ability to employ individuals with very high computer science aptitudes who all retain the same level of integrity to a company performance ideal as well as thoroughness to the assigned task. At first I met Dimitry, a serious task manager who not only repaired a system in the manner stated and projected when started, but also built my first custom PC. In this case, he provided me with a detailed bill or materials and negotiated with me to ensure that I obtained the performance targets sought. Over the past couple of years, it has been my pleasure to have met, and depended upon Mr. Borhan Zoufran. Mr Zoufran is patient, courteous to a fault and provides a focused effort, which I have also found to be collaborative with colleagues and even the customer to ensure the attainment of the best possible solution for the customer and Click Away. If you need help with a computer, peripheral, software program use, etc, ClickAway is the answer. I had delayed taking my slow computer to them for some time but when I could not figure out how to work a software program that I needed to use, I decided to go to to see if they would show me what I was doing wrong. Turned out it was my computer and not me. The program worked on his computer but not mine. After he ran two diagnostic programs the confirmed the hard drive was about ready to go out. Ashor Sharlo was wonderful and patience. Ashor explalined the pros/cons of different drives, and other recommendations. After we agreed on what I wanted, he provided a detailed estimate. He kept me up to date on the progress, etc. When it was time to pick up the computer, he took the time to expalin everything that was done and made sure I knew how to work the back up and computer protection software I had requested. He also checked and corrected the software down load for my existing printer.He also made sure I knew how to work the software that took me to the store in the first place. The manager also check in with us and made sure everything was going fine and that I was happy with the service. Ashor is WONDERFUL! He was very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and never made me feel dumb. At the end he seemed like a long time special friend. When I got home and sent something to my printer, I waited for it to print. To my surprise it had actually already printed. The computer is so fast now I was completely surprised and happy. I own a small business and have been using Click Away Campbell for many years now. We have had a number of different technicians work with us and all have been great. But we have been using Borhan Zoufan specifically for at least 4 years now. Borhan is just amazing, both as an incredible computer and network technician as well as just a really great person to know and work with. He is truly focused on what YOU need, not what he or Click Away needs. And of course in the long run, that gets Click Away what they need which is repeat customers, recommendations, great Yelp reviews, etc. The most recent thing Borhan helped us with was a complete upgrade of our entire IT system. Computers, server, software, everything. Needless to say, I was scared to death of the glitches that always happen when upgrading/changing your IT system. We could not afford a minute of downtime. But at the same time, my nervousness was mitigated by knowing that if anyone could minimize the start up glitches, it was Borhan. And, as usual, he came through with flying colors. Everything went incredibly smooth. We brought our old computers to Borhan end of day Friday. We were up and running with no major issues by Sunday afternoon. I have a 2009, 15" MacBookPro. I began having problems about 3 years ago and after $300 and repeated trips to Apple, I gave up and visited CllickAway in San Jose on Winfield. Patrick (PatD) understood my concerns, ran some diagnostics and fixed the problems. Apple had told me my MacBookPro was too old, etc., and I needed to replace it. Some time later, I dropped it and the display/cover became partially unhinged. Patrick, it turned out, was "borrowed" from the Campbell store on McClincy Lane. He left instructions for someone else, but it soon came apart again. I returned and Patrick personally handled it - no charge - and repaired it. Just recently I had lent it to someone - who dropped it, hard! Meantime, it also was doing irratic things like suddenly quiting an app or opening one I hadn't requested. This time I went to the Campbell store and Patrick explained he needed to replace the display unit and do some diagnostics. Three days later, I have a like-new rebuilt display, and no issues, all for a reasonable price. It does run slower than when new 'cause it's old, but then so am I and I also move more slowly. Along the way I've gained some good information and received some excellent advise. I wouldn't go anywhere else for Mac repair - including Apple. read more

While visiting family in San Jose, our laptop, which we use to remotely connect to our business back in New England crashed. A family member recommended ClickAway saying they had used them in the past and they were "the best." We contacted ClickAway and brought the computer to their Campbell store. Our tech was Eddy. He was GREAT. He checked the computer immediately upon our arrival and told us the mother board was gone. He spent the next few minutes explaining our replacement options and guiding us in the right direction. We explained we had to catch a flight back home early the next afternoon and Eddy personally promised that he would get all of our data transferred from the old laptop to the new one by the next morning at the latest. We received a call from Eddy about 3 hours later telling us the new laptop was ready for pickup. When we arrived he walked us through everything we needed to know about the new computer, gave us tips for extending the life of the computer and even imported all of our old e-mails and e-mail contact information. Our Toshiba had a serious and complicated problem, so when we took it to our local Click-Away, the service rep recommended that we take the computer to their Campbell location and have Trang Dinh repair the computer. In his words, "She is really good at fixing those kinds of problems!" We are very thankful for his recommendation because we found Trang has years of experience, is highly skilled, plus has a great personality to boot. She quickly diagnosed the problem, which required replacing both the top and bottom outside shells as well as other working parts. The parts had to be imported, and we were told it could take up to a month to receive them. We were thrilled when the parts arrived in just 1 1/2 weeks. Trang then repaired it in just 2-3 hours, and we were set to go! It was easy to see that Trang took a personal interest in taking care of our computer. She also showed us what we could do to prevent the problem from recurring in the future. We were absolutely thrilled with Trang's service. I needed a lenovo authorized service repair facility. I called a number of them in the south bay and found the person from Clickaway (campbell) to be very helpful with a responsive voice intonation. first positive. they were open on weekends. second positive. I went in and Eddie was very helpful and informative. He told me that the diagnostics was free, but did inform me of possible charges at the end. no problem, i understood that. What i liked was that he would get back to me after taking a look at my laptop first and doing all the diagnostics. he did call me back promptly. Third positive. He informed me that the fix was simple and i can pick as soon as it was possible. When i got there, i was expecting to pay an hour rate labor charge. But Eddie said it was so simple that he waived the labor charge and i paid nothing. Fourth positive. So i know that this place informs their customers what's going on, they are very fair, and got my laptop fix. We produce wedding invitations, programs, placecards, etc., and our hard drive crashed with major deadlines looming (you can't postpone a wedding) and, ok, I admit it, I don't back up as well as I should (that has changed). I called ClickAway and it turns out I spoke to the owner. He said to bring the computer right over (Friday, mid-day). I was on the phone when I pulled into the parking lot (hands-free) and he came out and met me and told me to finish my call while they started working on the computer. Rick, the owner, turned me over to Nick, a Mac expert, who cloned the hard drive, recovered all of my files and applications and had me up and running the next afternoon. We lost 2 production days but it could have been a lot worse. We didn't miss any deadlines because of the outstanding service and expertise at ClickAway. Super disatisfied and Pissed. My samsung tablet 10.1 (2014) screen was shattered/cracked but still works perfectly fine. After I sent it to get it repaired, they told me the screen was not available and they can't fix it- which is understandable since 2014 screen ver is limited however, they asked me if I wanted to buy a refurbish one and transfer all my data over for $200+. I was taken back because, mine was still working and just the screen was shattered so why would I want to get an old used tablet when mine is still prefectly fine? But then, when I got it back today, my tablet won't turn on. I turn on the power button yet only the button lights shine for a couple sec and then nothing. This made me suspect foul play and Soon I will be calling them to ask them to fix my tablet or compensate me for their error. Also they chipped my tablet even more. I have been very satisfied with them.. But this time was exceptional. Borhan Zoufan greeted me at the door and wasted no time finding out my computer was finished and needed to be replaced. (Somehow I had a feeling this would be the case!) Borhan showed me their line of desktop computers,asked a number of questions, and made some suggestions. I rarely buy anything on impulse, I prefer to do my own research and then make my decision. Borhan sold me the new computer plus a 24 inch monitor. Very Nice service! I was looking for a window 7 installation service on my Macbook Pro. I saw Click Away from my random search on Yelp and it has quite good review about it. So I decided to give it a try to the one in Campbell today. And I would tell the service is amazing,fast, and the price was affordable either. I got a BIG support from Greg. He is very well understanding for my Mac problem. Honestly, I am quite low technical person, but Greg took a time for me with very good care. He installed Booth camp for me and gave me a lot of helpful advice. He also took care of helpful installation like antivirus program, firefox, explorer for on my Window side. Altogether, it took me just 1.5 hr so I could just wait and get it back at the same day. So I think it's worth the price and the service. My first experience with Clickaway was this week when my computer harddrive crashed. I was only 4 months out of warranty and Hewlett Packard was not at all nice or helpful to me. They wanted 69 dollars just to diagnose the problem. I found Clickaway in the phone book and called. I spoke with Eddy and he immediately made me feel better. He said i could get it diagnosed for free. I dropped it off late Sat, got a price for repair on Sunday and it was all fixed and ready to pick up on monday. Eddy installed windows and Norton virus for me while i waited. Eddy was always friendly and very patient with me. After i was hooked up at home, Eddy solved one more problem for me by phone. Not being very computer literate, I couldn't be more grateful for Sean at ClickAway! My first experience was when my hard drive died, and he patiently and knowledgeably guided me through replacement options and Antivirus options that would optimize my computer's function. He was fortunately able to retrieve all my information, but encouraged me to get an external Backup to prevent any future loss (he even did the initial backup for me!). My most recent experience was when my computer wouldn't boot, and Sean came to the rescue again! I am so pleased and impressed with the thorough diagnostic & repair process. This one is specifically for Sal because the assistant manager seemed a little bit douchey in my opinion and I only saw those two. If you go in there look for Sal, hes amazing and even called me a few days later for a follow up. He gave me suggestions for fixing other parts of my computer without pressuring me and helped me with the problem I came in with perfectly. Sal was able to try a few different methods to eventually come to a conclusion of what was really wrong with my noisy computer. Although he did a few manual fixes including fixing my power supply fan and deep cleaning my hard-drive fan I was only charged for the source of my problem which was the power supply fan. They also said they were going to charge me for a 500W power supply so when they only had the 750W they gave me the 750 for the 500 price. Honorable workers, especially Sal. read more

We took them in to Click Away and met GREG GANTT (Greg Gantt is an outstanding person in addition to his wide range of technical skills). We were so pleased with the level of professionalism and knowledge, that we ended up having all of our computers serviced - tested and scanned for viruses. In addition, we had Greg come to our house on a service call to update our network. In the process we learned a lot about how home networks work.
