I had Allen and his men out for a second time to do some more small projects in my house. Ive recently bought a small condo and there are several things, little things that need to get done: locks, old screw holes, small drywall projects, preparing for new appliances, etc. As usual, Allen and his guys were very professional, knew what they were doing, on time, on budget, and were attentive to how I wanted things done. They wore masks and spoke politely. I am thrilled to have a reliable handyman I can call any time to help me with those manly projects that I cant do on my own. Thanks again, Allen and Hermann Kathy read more

This company is awesome and did wonderful job. They repaired a bullethole in my home. Long story, they are excellent

Alan and crew were easy to work with, and their work is of the highest quality. We were very impressed, and would work with them again in the future. They are very professional and reasonably priced. They made it as easy as possible for us to continue living in our home while having out kitchen fully remodeled. Alan was always very responsive to our questions and requests, and any issues that arose were dealt with immediately. read more

We had a nearly full basement remodel. Click construction stayed true to their word and gave advice where needed! Workers arrived on time and worked hard through the day, about 8am to 2-4pm! Our main bathroom on the second floor needed a complete makeover, and for that we wanted to hire a crew with lots of bathroom renovation experiences (specifically DC home renos) and one who could quickly finish the job in 2-3 weeks. Due to an ugly experience we had previously with another contractor, found through Angie's List, to renovate our basement, I was very nervous and not looking forward to hiring another contractor from hell-o. A little side story on the company who did our basement. These guys are well-known in the NOVA area and have an A+ rating on Angie's, but they were overpriced, took 5 months to complete the project, and caused serious damages (e.g., short-circuited our TV and wine fridge and caused partial flooding due to plumbing negligence). Anyway, back to the main story...Our bathroom was in a very bad shape (i.e., cracks in along the shower tiles, mold build up in the cracks, a 100-year old broken window, and a barely functional toilet) and as such, it needed to be done. We turned to Yelp this time and reached out to five vendors based on reviews/ratings and decided to put our faith in Click Constructions. I had an initial meeting with Alan to go over the specs/requirements and decided to sign the contract that day. Within weeks, he had his window guy, Steve, come in for the measurements and also had his crew, led by one of his best guys, Marlin, begin the demonstration and the renovation. Demonstration literally only took one day, thank goodness. We had 11-month old baby, and so I was especially nervous about potential debris and poor air quality. The crew was very mindful of that fact and took extra measures to minimize dust and also cover all the floors to prevent property damage. Alan helped pick out some of the bathroom hardware/accessories when I couldn't decide (e.g., the medicine cabinet, shower head, sink faucet, etc.). And I'm glad that he did, because I was quite pleased with the look and quality of the selected fixtures. Overall, I am super happy with how everything turned out and am very impressed with how efficiently Alan, Marlin and the rest of his Click Constructions crew carried out the project. I was initially skeptical and had feared the worst, but the reno turned out to be seamless! The parts were ordered and delivered on time. The crew worked diligently every single day and finished the job in just two weeks. They also cleaned the area before leaving each day. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. A couple of lessons learned from all this - (1) only use Yelp going forward as great Yelp ratings/reviews don't lie and (2) good contractors really do act in their clients' best interests. So yes, for those DC/VA home owners out there, I highly recommend Click Constructions! These guys will get the job done right! read more

I had a master bath renovation done (my first reno so nothing to compare it to). I found Click on Yelp and the reviews/pics looked good so I gave them a call. I am very happy with my new bathroom!! It's a remarkable improvement. They gutted the bathroom and removed a Jacuzzi tub, shower stall, a useless half-wall by the toilet and a double sink - all gone! They built a new wall on the end of the tub and put the extra vanity in the remaining space. Added lights over the extra vanity and a recessed light over the tub. Now I have a very beautiful bathroom and the bathtub of my dreams. I've wanted to do this for YEARS!!! I never thought I could get rid of that jacuzzi especially being on the 4th floor! Overall it was pretty quick, about 2 1/2 weeks (there was a few days delay at the end getting the granite in, otherwise it would have been 2 weeks exactly). The owner Alan was very helpful and friendly and told me what to get, where to get it and even offered to bring samples but I wanted to go to the tile/granite places myself to see all options as it was my first reno and it was exciting. Marlin was the main worker every day and he was great, very friendly and did exceptional work especially the flooring and tile which I think look amazing! It's a messy job and if you do this your bedroom is out of commission for the duration with tools, supplies and basically very dusty but that's to be expected with construction. They do put up some plastic over your furniture and at the end they clean it up pretty well but you'll still need a good going over yourself at the end. I bought the lights from Amazon and they added a dimmer switch which works great. They hung the mirrors, towel racks and shower curtain rod, painted and put new baseboards. The fan I had worked but Alan recommend a new quiet one and I'm so glad we did that, and I even picked up a new vent cover so now everything is brand new. I'm definitely already thinking of future projects as I need a lot of work done around the condo as soon as I can come up with the money I'll definitely contact Alan at Click again. Highly recommend. read more

I had a few issues I needed to get resolved around the house that I knew I couldn't really handle on my own. I had used Click previously to have a microwave installed when no one else would help. So, I decided when I needed my projects done I would use Click. I had a set of counter tops installed by a large chain, but after a short time it became apparent that the workmanship was fairly mediocre. The caulking had cracked all around the counters and the drywall crumbled around the bar counter. It was ugly looking. Alan came by and took a look, he simply told me "we will make it look amazing." I am happy to say his guys Steve and Herbie did just that. They came by and fixed the caulking and trim, so now it looks so nice! There were a few other things I needed done as well, including a new storm door installed and a new bathroom faucet. They knocked out both of these issues and even installed a float in the toilet for me. Several projects that needed to get done all completed in one day! I would recommend Click to anyone, so if you are looking for a contractor give them a call. read more

As with most of my house projects I look to get a number of quotes from contractors. In the time of Covid I did not want a parade of folks coming through the house and Alan understood that. He was able to provide me a quote that was aligned to others via a picture and description of the issues. Alan and his staff are extremely responsive, personable, strive for customer satisfaction, provide high-quality work, and ultimately want to build a long-lasting relationship, which is hard to come by nowadays. This company goes the extra mile and I plan on using them for more of my projects. read more

Working with Alan and his company has been excellent. We are very happy with their work, the professionalism, and the knowledge they have. This is the third time we've used them for a major project in our apartment. The first time was our kitchen cabinets, then the painting of our living room/loft (I would've done this except we have really high ceilings, and I'm not up for that), and now we did our floors. We had the original carpet, which was outdated and too worn, out and we put engineered hardwood floors. The difference is astounding. Alan was excellent in his recommendation. He was also very knowledgeable in the pricing. He presented us with a great, quality product. No cheap stuff. He also went above and beyond to find soundproofing that would meet the standards of our HOA. He found such a good product that out HOA was very happy and approved or project quickly. Alan is great at keeping us updated on the arrival of the materials and letting us know when they could drop them off. He's also very approachable for any questions or doubts that we could have. The day of the project, his guys were right on time, sharp. They did EVERYTHING: tearing out the carpet, moving furniture, installing, cutting... everything. They obviously knew what they were doing and were very efficient. I didn't see any waste of good material (I would've screwed up a bunch of planks). For the amount of saw dust that they created, I saw very little of it afterwards. The result of the work was simply stunning. I don't see anything that needs to be corrected. They even told us how to care for the flooring. I'm so happy with their work, that I have no doubt we will be hiring them again for another project we have in mind. read more

Home renovations are never easy. That said, Alan and his team made things as easy as possible for us. The work itself was beautiful, but where they really shine is the customer service aspect. Needed rotted wood replaced on our front porch and back soffit. Alan responded quickly and the work was completed by his 2-man crew a few days later. Job only took one day and work was professional. They gave us an itemized receipt of materials which I appreciated, then we gave them another check with the balance owed when the work was completed. read more

A few months ago, i stepped into the shower of a townhouse we recently bought, and a mushroom had grown in the grout overnight!!!!! My screams are still echoing throughout Loudoun County!!! Water damage and a small leak under my shower had caused this bizarre phenomenon! There were 3 things I was looking for when we were considering a complete bathroom remodel. 1-someone who was a one stop shop kind of place that could give us the whole package 2-someone that could give me the total price at the planning phase of the project 3-a good shower head in our new shower (I have long hair and a lot of it so I need a good shower head) Alan was able to give us all these things and more. His crew was nice and polite and cleaner than I had anticipated. On demo day I couldn't tell anyone had even been there until I walked into our bathroom. They covered their whole walk way with drop cloths and swept up any messes they made at the end of each work day. Alan himself was professional and easy to work with. He made great suggestions and stuck to his price. We love our new bathroom and will definitely use Alan again. read more

Bogus. I did not have a great experience with Click Construction. Why? Because they didn't show up for an appointment to sign a contract, nor did they notify me that they couldn't make it. Nor did they call the next few days after that to apologize. Impressive. Of the conversations I did have prior to the skipped appointment, I found Alan to be entertaining to talk to but he did not display the moxy of someone who worked in construction -- that is, someone who did the work or supervised crews -- prior to forming his own company. Rather, he talked like a salesman who may have worked for a construction company. My project presented one serious structural problem and another framing issue that he expressed absolutely no curiosity about nor knowledge of how his crew would solve it. That raised a flag. The other thing that raised a flag is the pressure he placed on me to accommodate filling his crew's schedule rather than me, the customer. The impression left is that it's all about Alan and his cash flow. And the fact that they were available to start in a week -- during the height of remodeling season -- also concerned me. read more

I would highly recommend Alan. He is very professional and will give you good honest advice. We had a wonderful experience. The work was well done. Lowes told us that they could not remove the previous 4 in backsplash. Alan's company was able to remove the prior backsplash and did a great job installing the new one. We were concerned about how the edges would look with the stacked stone tile we picked out, they turned out better than expected. See the pre and post pictures for yourself! read more

Ever since my experience with Click Construction and Remodeling, I've been trying to sum up the words for the customer service and service that I received. Last week, I had an appointment scheduled with a local handyman company to install a semi-frameless shower door. When the day arrives, my already crazy day turned into a terrible day. I had been waiting to have this door installed for quite some time. Well, I'll just say that the local company received the worst review that I could give after they cancelled on me the day of and provided the worst service. Since I'm a stickler about customer service, I knew I was not going to use the local company for anything else again. Sooo another search began and I came across Click Construction and Remodeling which had awesome reviews so I sent over a quote request. Within minutes, I received a response from the Owner, Alan, telling me to give him a call. I have got to say that he embodies what a business owner should be. He was very personable and I was laughing within the first thirty seconds of the conversation. I felt at ease. I told him my dilemma and he asked if he could call me back in a few minutes and try to work something out. To my surprise, he called back and had an appointment set up for my install the next morning with one of his employees, Rodolfo. I was elated but I still needed them to show up so I was a little nervous after the terrible day I had. The next morning...Rodolfo not only showed up but he showed up on time. I was in love at that moment. Lol. Rodolfo was very personable, he explained everything, and he was well prepared (made his store run before getting here). Throughout his visit, he kept me posted on his progress. After the install, the shower door looks great, works great, and it's installed properly. He cleaned up after himself to include any dust from the tile cutting (drop cloths were also laid before working). I am definitely pleased with Rodolfo and the service of Click Construction and Remodeling. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great service. I will definitely be giving them a call in the future. Thank you guys for turning my frown upside down. read more

After researching for a good construction company for a few months because I had a bad experience in the past. I was reading so many reviews for so many companies. I came across Click Construction and Remodeling here on Yelp and they had 4 1/2 stars, I decided to contact the company. I was in contact with Alan within the hour via e-mail. I was describing to him my needs for construction, which was constructing a new half bath in my basement. Alan not only said they could do it the way I wanted but they could do it exactly how I wanted. In which, I originally wanted a half bath under the basement stairs. I scheduled a time for Alan to come out and see the space. After seeing the space he reconfirmed what I wanted complete was attainable. He did suggest a full bathroom with a standing shower could be better for the space. While it would cost a little more but it was not a pressured suggestion. I told him I would think it over a let him know, he understood and let it go. After having a few contractors come and give me estimates. I decided Click Construction was the better fit. I also decided to go with Alan's suggestion of a full bath because it made more sense as I thought about what he said. In doing so I needed more space and that required my laundry room being moved. With such a big job in my head I thought that would be expensive but Alan assured it would not be and he came through with that assurance. Click Construction and Remodeling is one of the most competitive construction companies in this area. Throughout the remodeling process, it was great and effortless. I picked out the vanity, lighting, toilet, flooring and paint. It all came together beautifully. Alan is amazing, the energy he gives off and very positive and sprinted. Also, when you need him he is there for you to get in touch with him. He makes time around your schedule to meet with you. The guys he has working for him are nice, respectful and clean. They make sure they clean up or straighten up on a daily basis. When all said and done, the only thing you have to supply on your own is the toilet paper and paint. They think of everything that you may need. I would and will recommend Click Construction and Remodeling to family and friends. I'm thinking of even updating my upstairs bathroom now ;) read more

I highly recommend Alan and Click Construction and Remodeling based on my experience with him and his crew on a recent home project. We were looking to have our powder room and laundry room floors changed over to tile before the year end. After Alan came to our home, met with us, surveyed the job and provided a quote--we agreed to a completion date. Alan and his team exceeded our expectations. Based on his experience he suggested a few aesthetic (painting) and utilitarian (shelving) adds and changes that improved upon on the plan we initially had in mind without impacting the budget in a major way. We are extremely pleased with Alan's expertise, the quality of the craftsmanship from his team, and Alan's oversight of the project. From start to finish we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! We will definitely reach out to him again regarding our future projects. read more

You should Hire Click Construction today. I found Click on Yelp, and was really happy with them. Alan, the owner, was great to work with and a genuinely good guy - not something you find in every contractor. His suggestions about materials and ground plans were spot on and made the whole project better. His crew was everything you could want - professional, courteous, timely. They got the job done on time and on budget and everything they touched looks amazing. My project consisted of framing and finishing an unfinished basement including adding a new bathroom, new stairs, building closet space and a laundry room and remodeling another bathroom. When I started shopping for a contractor, I wasn't at all sure how the basement would be laid out, and I was glad to have Alan's help. He was more engaged than any other contractors I talked to, and really listened to my concerns. He has great instincts for how to maximize a space's potential, and make it easy and comfortable to move about. I was constantly impressed with the crew. They made great progress every day, and they did it without cutting any corners. From the big stuff like framing walls to the little stuff like bathroom finishes, everything looks absolutely top notch. On top of that, they were all true pros. They made sure things were clean at the end of every day, and were just generally respectful, positive people. If you have to have workers in your house everyday for weeks on end, these are the ones you want. I would be happy to hire Click again. read more

We met with Click Construction based solely on their reviews on Yelp. After talking with the company, we were excited about their impressive resume of jobs, as well as their ideas relating to finishing our basement. The quote given was very reasonable given the extensive scope of work, so we hired them....and are so very grateful we did! The completed basement is amazing....all the work was done timely, the crew was very professional and respective of our schedules, great with my dog, and the finished product maintains beautiful, custom detail with quality workmanship. Click completed the full build out of our basement (including new bedroom and bathroom, gym, storage space, and full living area); as well as completed a brand new custom bar. They were very helpful with tips on cost saving steps where applicable, and also chose amazing tile samples and designed the bar exactly to our specification. Based on positive Yelp reviews and the fact that they were located in Ashburn, I called Click Construction for an estimate to remodel a bathroom. The owner, Alan, replied promptly and gave me an estimate on paper of his labor and materials costs. Other costs would be variable based on what type of tile/vanity/fixtures I purchased. I could pick those out and buy them myself. Alan and his crew (Leo and Ronnie) were easy to work with. Very responsive to questions, and if there was a problem, it was quickly fixed. I also had them fix my crumbling brick steps and Eric, the professional mason, did a good job matching the patchwork. I also ordered a new back door from Alan. It is a beautiful Provia door and the installers were excellent, even saving the old lock for me to use on another door. After talking with friends and neighbors about their remodels, I found that Click's price was very good and competitive. I would call Alan again for future work. read more

I bought a house with a 20-foot high retaining wall in the back and no way to get over it to the part of the property behind it. We needed to build stairs, but these couldn't be normal stairs -- they'd need to be really high and on rocky terrain -- and there was no easy access to the location to get supplies back there. I wasn't sure I could even find anyone to attempt the job, but Alan was up for the challenge! The project ended up being a lot trickier than anyone had anticipated due to the terrain and the weather, but Alan, Steve, and his team weren't deterred. They were great to work with, and the final product is perfect. We're very grateful and highly recommend them. read more
