I worked with Chrissie to create my dream wedding outfit, and she delivered something that was truly better than I could have imagined. I felt so beautiful and had so much fun wearing it! I got so many compliments from friends and family, and I felt truly like myself. I came to Chrissie with a pretty clear vision of the overall look I wanted to achieve, but with many unresolved details. Chrissie started by creating detailed sketches that pulled together my wishlist into something beautiful and unified. She created a muslin "draft" of the outfit first, and in a session in her studio she built out the garment on my body while we talked through different decisions. She even made the pant legs in two different styles, so I could decide which direction to take! She also pulled fabric samples and found the perfect colors and lace patterns. She even met with me at a fabric store so that we could look at and buy the cloth together. The process of building the outfit in the satin/silk happened across a few sessions, and Chrissie made sure to get every detail just right. Throughout the process, Chrissie was a joy to work with. She made the process so fun and put me at ease. She was always attentive and listened to my questions and ideas, and helped shape my ideas into something beautiful and real. For anyone who doesn't see themselves in a traditional wedding dress, but wants to feel incredible on their wedding day, I cannot recommend working with Chrissie enough!

I am always greeted very warmly and professionally and the work/tailoring always exceeds my expectations. You may think that all of these places are the same, but I can assure you they are not. If you've ever had your hem start to unravel, you know what I mean. The shop is extremely small and tight, but the ladies here do a good job. At times, their vibe could be interpreted as unfriendly, especially if you've never interacted with them, but don't take their curtness for rudeness. In no way does it look like their intention to be unfriendly, but it's just the way they operate - quick and to the point. In addition, they don't speak fluent English, so sometimes things can get lost in translation. If you DO need any type of alterations or clothing fixes, all you have to do is walk in, present to them what you need done and they'll take a look at it on the spot and let you know if it can or cannot be done. If whatever you need can be done, they'll fill out a receipt for you with the date you came in, what the work is and how much it might cost. When your clothing is ready, they'll give you a call and you can come in to pick it up. It's that easy or at least those were the experiences I had and each time was a replica of the previous. In addition, the pricing for their work was very reasonable as I called up a few tailoring shops for a quote and Sanita's always came out as the lowest or equivalent.

When I pointed out their error, they acknowledged their poor work and made the hem straight. However, why would they make alterations be visible and make a straight in the middle of the dress??? They changed the look of the dress and made it look cheap . Stessi Alterations work was poor and very pricy! Definitely would not recommend this place. Stay away!!!!

I had gained and lost some weight so I got a larger size and the way it fit was just not working plus the layers of fabric made me sweat I went to this seamstress after seeing the reviews online. I worked with Rosa. There was a little bit of a language barrier, and I wouldn't say she's the most jovial person b/c of the communication barrier, but she is extremely skilled at what she does so I was able to explain what I needed done, and she worked wonders. She removed layers of fabric making it lighter, but also more breathable. With one fitting she tailored it perfectly to my body. I almost couldn't believe it. I ended up taking it home and then realizing that I needed a little more security around the bust area. I brought it back, she did it and didn't charge me. She also adjusted the slit because it was a little too high for me. Overall, I would absolutely recommend going here. She's professional and extremely skilled, and that is what matters most.
