After looking at for a bit, I finally decided on the Mediterranean kale salad with lamb meat. Charles Chavez har the lamb gyro with the titan fries and a Greek salad. The lamb meat was so tender on both meals, but it was the actual meat not the slices that you normally get. The spices left a great flavor in your mouth, that will make you wanting more. The salad was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of greens, quinoa, feta, nuts, Kalamata olives and lamb meat. I had the half and barely finished it. The place was clean and well decorated with music playing in the background. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes.

She got the Athenian beef with a side of avegolemono soup. I got the pulled chicken plate with spanakopita. We also got 1 of each sauce to try. And a side of red pepper hummus and Greek fries. The beef and chicken were delicious. The Greek salad good. The portion sizes were smaller compared to other Greek restaurants. Also both plates did not come with pita. You have to extra pay for pita. They carry bottled drinks, no fresh iced tea. The restaurant is setup as a counter order. Also minimal seating. They had a few to go orders. $75 for the 2 of us

I got the chicken shawarma bowl and the shawarma fries to try and have for lunch the next day. My friend got the loaded hummus plate and the dessert. The dessert was like baklava but with chocolate drizzle and cinnamon powder, not super sweet at all, more of a tang taste for sure. The shawarma was amazing and everything was super filling. The fries will probably be my new guilty pleasure! The bowl was also amazing and less of a guilt because there's plenty of veggies and fiber. The sauces they use are also just chefs kiss. The hummus was also incredible, you can tell they make it in house and it's super authentic. As a middle eastern it's not easy to come by good food that hits the spot like home does, so thank you Yalla Shawarma for providing amazing comfort food! I always looked forward to visiting Annapurnas when in town. During this recent visit, I realized…read moresomething had changed, big time. For years, their samosas were some of the best: perfectly seasoned potato filling in a lightly friend pocket alongside some date chutney sauce. On their updated menu, samosas were listed as 25%, so I went for 2 thinking the portions were as they had been for the last 15 years. Sadly, this was not so. They were more like tiny hot pockets, baked pizza dough, with a rather bland, flavorless filling. Alongside a #3 cup of veggie of the day and $16 later, I realized my journey with Annapurna had come to an end, and I would not be returning. Also, I noticed the oat milk being added to the $7 oat chai was Kirkland brand, which consists of: (filtered water, organic rolled oat flour), organic sunflower oil, calcium carbonate, organic natural flavors, sunflower lecithin, sea salt, vitamin A palmitate, ergocalciferol (vitamin D2), riboflavin (vitamin B2), and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) . Some listings also describe it as fortified and organic, with no added sugar noted in one review source. I'm not an Ayurvedic doctor, but these ingredients and the quality of the food have declined considerably over the last years, which is sad. Such are the times...

We're normally big meat eaters but we're very, very happy with the vegetarian dishes here. The Mezze came with falafel, eggplant, salad (outstanding flavor), hummus, and very good hot pita bread. The Tajine was a delectable and we loved the presentation of it in the traditional clay pot. It had slow cooked vegetables (carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes, etc) and was partially sweet with dates. But the highlight was the Moroccan mint tea, served traditionally in glasses and poured from high up. I haven't had tea that good in awhile (and yes I go to the Teahouse). Warning -- this is a BYOB restaurant, so bring your bottle of wine with you (and save money). Will definitely return.
