The Peninsula New York is celebrating in Clement Restaurant with an elegant Easter Brunch for all. Enjoy a delicious brunch buffet with a variety of options including Garlic-studded Roasted Lamb Leg, Peppercorn Crusted Ribeye, Spring Risotto and more. Younger guests will also enjoy a special food stations, a visit from the Easter Bunny plus the chance to play with our baby animal farm featuring ducklings, chicks and bunnies! With a hefty price tag of $195 a person, no alcohol or soft drinks included. Only unlimited tap water, the finest NYC has to offer. Service is good. Not sure if this is all that worth it. Sad but true. Cheers

Clement is an excellent hotel restaurant with good food and service. Brunch is particularly good. It is also a beautiful and calming room.

Soooo overpriced even for a nice hotel but we wanted to enjoy a fancier breakfast inside the Peninsula Hotel before doing some shopping nearby! Interior was classy but felt a little stuffy in the dining room even though there weren't many of us there for breakfast. Ordered (with prices listed because they were almost offensive lol) *Truffle Omelet w/ freshly shaved truffles ($62 or $64) *Shakshuka w/ toast ($34) *2 Glasses of Organic OJ ($16 each) *Home Fries Side ($16) The food was good but neither it nor the service nor the ambiance lived up to the prices and I never got the glass of water that I asked a few times for :/

Good service and environment, which is expected since it's the Peninsula. The restaurant wasn't the easiest to find because of the layout of the hotel, and I could imagine it could be a bit challenging for the mobility impaired.

Greatest experience I've had at New York. Food was delicious, ambience was quiet and calm, and service was great. - Chia Seed Pudding seemed like it was made with coconut milk. Fatty-ness from walnut and fruits had a great harmony of sweet, sour, and nutty combination - Korean Fried Chicken was crispy and the sauce was well contained. Waffle was probably the BEST one I've had in my life. It was very soft, perfectly cooked all the way inside - Royale Benedict was on point. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and hollandaise sauce striked a great balance from the dish getting too heavy - Cornflaked French Toast had subtle cinnamon sugar flavor with crunchy texture for a pleasant surprise - Pumpkin cheesecake was rich. We tried many cheesecakes around the city, had been disappointed by some of the places with degraded quality, but this hit the craving spot for us Great experience, and will definitely visit again next year!

This is a very elegant and cozy restaurant. Perfect place to take your important guests. All the dishes are tasty and nicely presented. I am most amazed by pastry chef Richard's creation. He came out to explain all the beautiful pastries that he made. It was truly an amazing experience and a lifetime memory.

The Clement is one of those places that you feel at home at from the moment you walk in to when you leave. We ate there for both a dinner and a breakfast. Service was impeccable and food was outstanding. Only exception was truffles on eggs Benedict even though menu didn't mention it. Truffle way overpowered the eggs. Definitely recommend The Clement for a nice dinner or breakfast.

This place was a phenomenal experience. I have never experienced such amazing service. Everything I ate was top notch and prepared perfectly.

Note: Restaurant Week Summer 2018 review. Wow. I don't quite recall how I initially came across Clement, but doing some typical (obsessive) Restaurant Week research, it looked like Clement had a very decent offering and is relatively close-by to where I work, so...why not have some fancy dinner - we all gotta eat, right? As other reviewers helpfully pointed at, the restaurant itself is located in the Peninsula Hotel and is just a quick flight upstairs as you enter. I was happily greeted and promptly seated. While the restaurant wasn't super busy at the time (8pm on Thursday), I must say the staff is impeccably attentive. I was quickly 'watered' and asked if I wanted a cocktail (opted for the 'seasonal' - Ultimate Vodka, St-Germain, Lemon - refreshing and delicious). Shortly thereafter, with my drink came some hearty whole wheat bread (several more rolls than I could ever finish) and softened butter. And then the courses began. Complementary Starter: a lovely, velvety [sweet potato...maybe?] mousse-filled tart with chili flakes. Appetizer: Crispy Octopus with Basil-Pea Puree, Pickled Stone Fruit, Puffed Grain - it wasn't huge, but it was very tasty. Puffed grain added some nice crunch to go along with the stone fruit. Solid dish. Complementary Pasta: An amazing rigatoni dish with peas, green beans, watercress, and plenty of cheese garnishment. Absolutely delightful. Plate cleaned. Main Course: Za'atar Roasted Rack of Lamb with Japanese Eggplant, Juniper Yogurt - Wow. You had be at za'atar...and at lamb. Just a phenomenal dish. The lamb was cooked to a perfect medium rare and incredibly seasoned, and I could help but slather it in the delightful juniper yogurt. The eggplant was tender and scrumptious as well. Complementary White Wine: ...wow. why? but wow. thank you. Complementary Red Wine: ...god I love you guys. Dessert: Peach Melba with Chocolate Dirt, Olive Oil Sorbet, Almond Sour Cream. Light, fruity, delightful. Oh, and here's some birthday cake while we're at it. I can honestly say dinner at Clement was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long, long time. Thank you.

Top notch service, beautiful hotel. Stopped in for breakfast. The food was good, nothing special or out of the ordinary. Ordered the steak and eggs with toast and juice. The bill was $85. Not much to write home about. The restaurant is located in the Peninsula Hotel so I would say you are paying for service as well as atmosphere. I would love to come back for lunch or dinner to really be able to judge the food.

Food is great, but service is top notch. Perfect place for a business lunch or dinner. The ambiance and lighting is really nice, and you just feel special being in such a pretty setting in the Peninsula hotel. Would recommend even for a date or "catch-up" time with a friend, where you can talk comfortably, especially with the noise level being low and the tables being spaced out well. The reasons why my boss does like to come here for a nice quick lunch with his guests. Restaurant is up the grand staircase of the hotel lobby to your left.

A Perfect Dining Experience! The Clement at the Iconic Peninsula New York is a gem. The food is outrageously delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is genuinely hospitable. Thank you Thomas, Mario, Luis, Marco, Sharul & Jack! Been back 3x already. The Clement is a keeper. Rafael Fab

I had bad experience with an otherwise good evening. I updated my review because management eventually rectified the problem.

You're not dining Michelin here, but it is a good spot that hits the spot with their food and coffee. They really move things well, and quickly so wait times are often minimal, staff is speedy, yet you don't feel rushed. The ambiance is, well, diner. It is diner booths and tables, typical heavy duty diner dishes and basic cutlery, but that's perfect for this establishment. Not our first time here, and won't be our last, as the pricing is also reasonable.

The issue wasn't the mediocre food or dated atmosphere, it was the appalling treatment surrounding my legitimate service animal. The manager flat-out attempted to deny access, apparently more concerned that the dog might "scratch their booth" than following basic laws or showing basic human decency. To make matters worse, when asked if a small area of the floor could simply be wiped down so the dog wouldn't be licking a filthy diner floor, the response was complete refusal and hostility. The entire interaction felt ignorant, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. Staff acted inconvenienced by the mere presence of a service animal, which is unacceptable in any establishment, especially in New York City. A diner survives on hospitality, and Westway clearly has none. If you value respectful treatment, professionalism, or accessibility, avoid this place entirely.
