    Rose pasta with shrimp~
    Lisa C.

We visited Wooga for dinner the night we arrived in NYC at the recommendation of lunch server. If we were in party mode, this would be a great spot! It's dark with neon decor and great music. The menu is interesting. I expected only Asian but it was fusion. We were a party of 3. One friend ordered a teriyaki beef dish, one ordered something called cheese dukbokki, and I ordered rose pasta with shrimp. I'm not a huge pasta eater but they had me intrigued with the rose sauce and it was as good as it sounded. The sauce was the best part of the dish. I wasn't impressed with the other two plates and neither were the gals who ordered them. The non-alcoholic beverages such as Coke Zero are not fountain drinks and are served individually. The service was good and the restroom was clean. All in all, we had a good experience.

Personally loved the fried spam, fries, chicken katsu, and rose pasta with shrimp. Would totally be back! My favorite drink is the Mango and Passion Fruit Wooga Highball!

More like 3.5 stars, rounding up since it was a good experience. Food is average but friendly staff! thought the beef bimbimbap was just ok, got a lemonade and tried their chicken wings and that was skippable, flavors felt off. Pretty empty on a weekend during lunch time.

Wooga lunch menu is back and it's amazing. On my latest trips here I've had the spicy pork bibimbap and fish katsu. The katsu is out of the world and I hope it stays on the menu. The drinks are happy hour priced during lunch and they're very well priced for a midtown location. This place deserves a lot more fame.

When you walk in, there's a bar, which was a cool vibe. The you go to the back for the restaurant. Decent amount of space. Service was quick, and we appreciate that they were realistic about the amount of food. The hot pot was huge but honestly not that good. The kimchi pancake was solid. Menu wasn't too interesting.

This space is much bigger than I had anticipated based on pictures and reviews. There's ample seating and it's well staffed. I didn't try any entrees - as I mostly went for the appetizers and drinks. As far as apps go, the dumplings were flavorful and a bit on the sweeter side. The edamame was as one would expect. I had a strawberry highball and it was definitely strong. The strawberry syrup was very artificial tasting though, I'm not sure I'd get it again. Staff was attentive.

I have been here twice, once at the bar n once in dining area. My friend suggested this spot to catch the Knicks game and I must say it's definitely a nice n lively vibe. I got the spicy wings ($9) which was solid and has a kick to it. The Wooga cheese burger ($16) comes with fries and chicken nuggets! On my second visit I got the prime marinated galbi ($48) which was delicious and the chicken sandwich ($16) which was tasty. If you're in the mood for good food and drinks with chill vibes, I highly recommend Wooga. * 4.5 Stars * Bar and dine in area (Both sections have TVs) * Good service * At the bar, tip is included on bill (Ask to confirm) * Fair prices * happy hour

Being able to catch up w/friends Happy Hour ending at 7PM Tasty food AND dranks Cute decor Wooga will definitely see me again! Came here after work and caught up w/a few friends. The service was a bit slow in beginning BUT I got there a bit later than my friends. However, after that - everything was great. Had the following: Honey Soy Garlic Wings (not as great as Mad for Chicken, BUT it beats trekking it to Qns. I haven't visited the others) Fried Beef & Pork Dumplings Yuzu Margarita w/sugar rim (now this was smooth AND delicious which equals DANGEROUS ) Lychee Martini (the vodka comes through the one but the Lychee isn't far behind.) Spent $45 (tip included; remember this was HH)

A small group of us came on a Thursday evening for happy hour and it was pretty packed. We had to wait for seating at the bar to open up. I wished I known to make reservations ahead of time for a table. They have a happy hour deal on drinks. The calamari was good and easy to share. I definitely hope to come back to try their army stew.

Been to this place multiple times and always sat in the very roomy bar area in the front. They also have a big dining area in the back. They use to have happy hour until 9pm but now it's only until 7pm. However, their drink prices (and food prices) are not high at all for the area and the cocktails are very strong and tasty. Food is also very solid. We got the wings and stir fry gizzards this time and both were very yummy. This spot will continue to be a staple for us especially being right across the street from Penn station so easy to catch the train.

Came for a birthday dinner and it had nice dinner vibes. We ordered the Beef Japchae which was pretty meh. I feel like it was a lot of veggie and some noodles. The prime bone in tomahawk w/ fries was pretty large even for the 4 of us. I wasn't the biggest fan of steak and it didn't make me change my mind. The wang galbi hotpot was nice and warm.

Despite being a Korean restaurant but they have very good steaks, especially during the daily happy hour, the price is unbeatable. Everyday they serve a different cut during happy hour at a discounted price. They change from time to time. I was there on a Monday when the served galbi, the meat is so tender and flavorful. Two of us ended up ordering two because it was so good. The chicken wing are also amazing, very crispy and flavorful, still very crispy when glazed heavily with sauce. Service is fast, just wish the table is a bit bigger feels a little tight as we were trying to fit everything on the table with the complimentary sides

Scummy place. Handed me the tab without mentioning that the gratuity was already included. Just brought me their ipad with the select tip screen. Very shady practice taking advantage of someone who was drinking. End up paying 40% tip on some meh food and meh service. Wont be going back again.

Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. The shepherd's pie is insanely salty and it's very off-putting. It was inedible. I was looking forward to having it but I would not in good faith recommend this to anyone. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.

The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears.
