Grilled chicken, lentils, mexican rice

Food was good tonight. One particular dessert time that was good was a mousse that was of a unique flavor I could not pinpoint.

Beef, veggies and mahi mahi.

Monday night menu is good. I especially liked the meatballs and the shrimp and Alfredo sauce.

God damn did they arise to the occasion. Both times I needed a large party reservation, they just asked for a time, a name, and a phone number. No card required, they sat as down as soon as the table was cleared. Two different tiers for AYCE - the shrimp is fantastic but honestly base is amazing on its own. All the meat just tasted super fresh, even the marinated ones. Plus they cook it for you on that really nice heavy iron lid so the grill stays hot, and they had a nice incline to drain the drippings too. I'm a fan of brisket and jowl, but a lot of my table mates loved the bulgolgi and the chicken. Lots of great options for drinkers too. Funny tower that pre-mixes three beers with a soju, with plenty of flavored ones too. It's not the biggest menu out there, but with solid options and open an hour or two later than a lot of the competition - that's a win.

I stopped by Woorijip on a Wednesday around 6:30pm and it seemed like a few items have been sold out. The street that Woorijip is located is very busy, lots of restaurants and shops condensed in a tight area. The restaurant makes it very easy to pick what you would like to try and go. It is completely self service - you pick what items you would like to try, place it on a tray, and wait in a line to check out. You do get a small discount when you pay in cash. I tried a couple of items which I'll briefly review. The Grilled Mackerel was decent - lightly seasoned, but not as crispy, which is expected since it was likely made earlier and steamed for a bit, and goes nicely with the lemon for a bright acidic tang. The Galbitang had good flavor in the broth - nice and aromatic, definitely feels like a home cooked meal in terms of flavor. Unfortunately, I don't think you will get very full from just eating the soup, it definitely needs to be paired with the rice. I just wish there was a bit more meat as it there was much more broth than any other ingredients in the bowl. There are plenty of options to try out here, and the food feels solid. It seems like there is a constant rotation of food options to try on any given day. I think if you are in K-Town for a quick visit and hungry for something quick to eat, Woorijip has you covered.

Showing a variety of sports games. One thing to note is that they play Korean music so you won't hear the game audio. Unless you sit right by the bar. Something to keep in mind depending on what kind of viewing experience you're looking for. I went after the game at MSG and it was a great place to wind down. For the table we got the pepper fried chicken which was crispy, well seasoned chicken thigh pieces with peppers. For my main, I ordered the beef tartare bibimbap, which came with rice and a selection of small dishes. Portion size was great. We also added the parmesean French fries for a small bite which came with two different dipping sauces. To finish it off, we got dessert. Which was the cheesecake topped with strawberry drizzle and cornflakes, plus two scoops of raspberry ice cream and one scoop of chocolate ice cream. Everything about the meal was great. Overall, I think that Wooga is a great go to spot to check out if you want good food, drinks, and a nice atmosphere.

Oh yeah. My 2026 NYC trip......here we go…read more I will start my series of review with a 5 stars positive one. This one definitely came with a bit of surprise. Our hotel is right across the street. It was day 4 and we were packing for our return flight. I decided to have dinner around our hotel and Dallas BBQ just showed up first thing on my search. Here is the deal. for less than $60 buck, we got 2 decent trays of BBQ. This is NYC time square prime location. I just paid $19 dollars for a simple regular chipotle bowl + a bottle soda. Somehow, Dallas BBQ can sell banging meals for decent price. I think that this is even cheaper than some SoCal BBQ places for the amount of food we receive. Everything is decent to delicious and the wait time was good. Thanks Dallas BBQ Time Square for showing up!

Flip the sign to green if you want more, or red if you don't. The meat is fresh (at least the grilled chicken thighs I had were tender with crispy, juicy skin). I saw on Xiaohongshu that many people complained the meat was too salty, but maybe it varies by location. Overall, the Brooklyn spot paired with salad isn't overwhelming. The best dish was the filet! When we went right at opening, it seemed like there was a strategy to serving: they started with cheaper cuts, and only after we were nearly full did they bring the pricier filet , which can get heavy quickly. After one round, we were pretty full! Friends, save some appetite--it's better to come with a bigger group. The three of us asked them to cut the meat into just two pieces each time to avoid getting tired of it too fast. The salad bar is self-serve and unlimited. If you come for lunch and only eat salad, the buffet seems to be just $18? Pretty good deal. We had lunch at $49 per person (basically all the meat included). They have multiple buffet tiers, with different prices for lunch and dinner. For seafood, lunch is $69 per person (includes lobster, crab cake, roasted bone marrow, etc.). We felt we couldn't eat that much, so we didn't choose it. Dinner is more expensive, so lunch is definitely the better value!

The full churrasco includes the unlimited salad bar which includes a variety of greens, cheeses, cold cuts, smoked salmon, fruits, bean salads, rice, beans, and more. Brazilian cheese bread and other sides are also included in the meal. Overall, the food is excellent quality and delicious. Service: Service for the most part was excellent, and servers come around constantly asking if you need anything. The meats were a bit slow to come out, and for the first half of our meal, we weren't offered much meat which was disappointing. It was a lot of waiting around for the meat to come to our table. We had to start asking servers to send over specific cuts of meat before it started coming out. I'm not sure if bringing meats out slowly and not frequently is intentional on the restaurant's part, but it would be disappointing if that's the case. This experience made me not want to return in the near future. Ambiance: The ambiance is very upscale and high end. Seating is comfortable, and the restaurant is huge with multiple floors. Both large and small groups can be accommodated.
