Super Happy! Doug did an amazing job measuring and installing our retractable screen door. We have a 96" front door so it was not an easy job! I would highly recommend Clear View Screens. The appointment process and staff was also great, they emailed and sent text message appointment confirmations and reminders. Overall great experience. Thank you very much! read more

We stopped in to look at the french door screens. We are sick and tired of replacing regular screens on our patio doors that eventually fall off their tracks and are rendered useless. They bend and we really would like something retractable. We got a quick overview from the receptionist and grabbed a brochure. Prices are quite high. About $900+ for two screens for french doors, and stoppers on each side so you can open each side independently ($40 each!). We haven't pulled the trigger yet because of the cost. read more

I have done a lot of research plus reading online to find a retractable screen for my French door. Although I always found Clear View is on the top recommend list. I wanted to make sure so I visited their store and two other brands. Clear view is a little more expensive but I was impressed with the actual product quality. And I was very happy with not only the on time delivery but also honored to have the owner came out for the measurements. And it was such a pleasure to meet the owner and found out he is so personable and easy to talk to. Most of all I really enjoy the screen. It was so invisible as if our living room is open to the yard. read more

I love my new screen. I haven't had any problems with it at all, even after someone's wife has nearly walked through it twice in the same day!! Install tech arrived on time as requested and was finished up in less than a half hour. I must get two or three compliments on it weekly and I've referred Andy and ClearView to many many friends, family and the occasional stranger that comes to the door and falls in love with the idea. read more

Called during the shelter-in-place. Had an estimator out within 2 days, two weeks for the retractable screen door to be manufactured and an hour to install. Frame matches the stucco well. Great customer service and a quality product that looks beautiful and operates beautifully. The screen is invisible enough that we had to put a strip of blue tape on it so we don't accidentally try to walk through the screen. That can probably go away once we train ourselves. read more

OMG. We have been wanting screen doors for years that can be retracted. We live in SF and don't need year round screens, which would diminish the valuable light we get from the back doors. Somehow the ones we looked at just looked cheap and like bad add ons for a rental unit. We wanted something on the level of our HOME. After battling our latest insect infestation, we did some research and randomly stumbled onto Clear View retractable screens. We emailed an inquiry and Doug called us within 2 hours and was able to visit and give us a quote that same day. We loved the product and placed the order. It took about 4 weeks. They were just installed this morning, and we are over the moon. They look like they are part of the house, and were designed specifically to fit the space. They are incredible, and Doug is super nice, considerate and helpful. I would recommend him & this product to anyone. We have a very detailed oriented architect in the family, and whenever we do anything to the house, we ask ourselves what he would think. We are uber proud and excited about this home improvement and can't wait to share the photos with him. Thank you so much, Doug!!!!!!! read more

For the past several years I have used ClearView to hang my holiday lights. (I have six trees in my front yard wrapped with lights.) Their service has been amazing! The office staff is great about reaching out by email every year to schedule the installation; they send helpful reminders close to the selected date. The men who come to install the lights are as nice as can be. I have had the same foreman for the past several years - he remembers everything that was done before and always listens carefully to any special requests. They use their own lights, timers, etc. and I have never had an issue with any of their equipment. People from my neighborhood regularly stop by to tell me how nice my lights look and to thank me for putting them up. read more

We have used this company for the past 2 Christmas holidays to put up our Christmas lights . They have done a great job both times - the lights were done perfectly and they never had any problems - stayed on as expected and the timer they set up worked great . I love that they schedule the take down date for you and you don't need to be home. It is very convenient that they call you before Thanksgiving to set a date for the lights so you get on their books before the craziness of the holidays . I would definitely recommend this company for Christmas lighting. read more

The customer service is beyond excellent. If you have a problem they will fix it. The door is beautiful.

I was looking for retractable screens for a while but none would fit our screen doors or windows. As my hunt continued and happened to look at ClearView. They were awesome - took measurements and got 2 screen doors and 1 screen window installed. The only thing I have to say anything is about the screens - once in a while they come off the rails but very easy to put them back. read more

We just had ClearView's screens installed on the patio and front door of our home and we love them. Doug did our installation and was on time, friendly, clean, and took a huge amount of pride in his work. If you're considering getting them installed we can't recommend ClearView and Doug highly enough. read more

Doug just installed our retractable screen doors, and we love them. He was efficient and neat, showed up on time and even stayed a little later to discuss some additional needs we had. We love our screens so far, and had a great experience with Doug and the company. Keep up the good work!!! read more

The screens themselves seem great so far (but newly installed, so time will tell)! However, we weren't thrilled with the installers who didn't show up masked, and had a bit of an attitude after being asked to put them on. Also, I had to request stickers for the screens (my husband is prone to charging through them without looking) because they didn't have them when they did the installation (how hard can it be to make sure those are with the installers?) and then when we got them I called and got advice to put them on the inside but then someone else said outside. And they aren't staying on. This part is important if we want them to last for any time! read more

A quality retractable screen at a very fair price expertly installed on time as promised.

I had Phantom screens before and ran into Andrew during a trade show and saw their retractable screens. ClearView screen is a lot more sturdy and durable comparing to my Phantom Screens! Thus I have 2 of them installed at my house. There were some hiccups about appointment rescheduling and production problem but Doug was responsible and tried to make everything right. I'm a happy customer with 2 ClearView screens now. read more

The review is way overdue, as I had mine installed 3 years ago. As far as I remember, the installation was smooth and professional. I used the screen almost every single day during summer and it is still running strong. Highly recommended! read more

Really enjoying my new ClearView retractable screen door! From the initial call to installation, the process was absolutely seamless! I have my retractable screen for a few years now. I have not had any issues with them. They work great in keeping the sun out of my windows facing the West. It used to get so hot in the west side of the house, we could not be in the rooms for very long without getting all sweaty. The screens made a huge difference. I have had 3 installed, one is almost 15' tall and another is almost 9' wide. The remote has no issues in getting them up and down. Although the project was fairly expensive as we had to hire another company to add to the frame (we have foam molding on our windows, so the frame had to be built out), I am very happy with the results. read more

Clearview did an outstanding job with the screen for my new workshop. It's an 18'x10' door, and few screens can handle that size without sagging. From the initial consultation and advice, through sale and installation, to after sales advice, it's been a pleasure dealing with them. I wish all contractors or vendors would make it this easy. read more

Could not be happier with the look, quality or professionalism of my Clearview screen door. The airflow is such an upgrade over the cheap magnet screen door that I bought from Amazon. Excellent. read more

We are delighted with our ClearView retractable screens, and installation was excellent. Doug and a trainee, Brian (Bryan?), arrived on time, with all of the correct equipment, plus an extensive array of construction tools that allowed them to customize the product and installation to my home's precise needs. Doug has extensive industry experience, plus smarts and a great way with people. He gave 110% to my job and made himself available for follow-up questions afterwards. I can't recommend him and ClearView screens highly enough! read more

I had the best customer service experience today with Doug. He came in and reviewed a repair job for my screen door. It was fixed immediately and for no charge at all for the visit, since it was so fast. I consider him a professional with high integrity! This is so much appreciated. Thank you Doug. Don't hesitate to use this company! read more

Thanks Doug & Andrew! Doug came out to the initial appointment, took some measurements and provided a fair estimate for 2 double-french-door screens..... because our house is older, the install wasn't straight-forward..... but these guys are pros! Install was quick, clean, precise and screens look and work great! An easy recommendation to friends and neighbors! read more

I love the retractable screen from ClearView. Have had it for over four years. My new dog ran thru the screen and I had the come out to fix it. I thought I may have to get a new screen, but no. The installer was able to fix the screen. Saved me money on not having to get new mesh for the screen. The personal are very professional and yet friendly. I would recommend this company in a heart beat. read more

Good product - great service I love my screen door!

Great screens, durable and easy to use. We purchased ones for our French doors. They are strong bifold type and do not snap back On Their own , Pricing was good as well, we plan on getting one from them for our front door next. read more

We've had our screen for about 4 years and it's been great! The reel system still works great and especially now with a toddler in the house, it's nice to know that it won't break any fingers. There is a bit of slack in the screen at the top, so there's a sag that leaves about a half inch gap at the widest spot. I would still recommend the screens and the original service and installation was great. read more

Doug at Clearview did a super job getting the perfect product and style screen doors for my awkward areas. The installs were perfect and they function and look great. They exceeded my expectations. Thank you! read more

My new motto: "Always give people a second chance"... Within minutes of posting my previously bad review on Yelp, the president of the company, Andrew Lezotte, called me to apologize and to make right what was done wrong by his employees! He quickly scheduled an appointment to see me. I'm glad I gave him a chance to prove what his company really is all about or I would have regretted it. His integrity speaks volume when he gave me his word. He speaks from his heart and very honest. I told him that I have been reviewing and checking motorized roller shades online for my outdoor kitchen but unsure what to get because there are so many options from different companies. Andrew explained to me why their outdoor roller shades stand out--it's wind resistant, blocks the heat, has powerful motor, keep the bugs out, custom size, fabric mesh is clear view and blocks 95% UV rays; on top of that, the power screens can integrate with Control 4 home automation system (which is what I have at my home). Wow! My only concern was timing, I needed this ASAP. He said it will be ready for installation in 2 weeks and Shaun will do the installation. So the best decision I ever made (after getting upset) was buying the motorized retractable screens for my outdoor kitchen from Clear View Retractable Screens Bay Area. On March 21, 2019, the exact promised date w/ no delays, my order came and got installed. I can truly say that Andrew meant everything he said and he's right about Shaun. Shaun's work was very professional and with quality--he perfectly lined up the bottom frame of the 2 roller shades (located at 90 deg angle), tacked the cables on the bottom of the fascia board so it's not dangling, installed the motor in the hidden spot behind the frame (nobody can see it), and synchronized opening and closing the 2 shades together. Shaun also installed the Somfy RTS switch on the post next to the kitchen so that I don't have to carry the remote control w/ me and misplace it. Not only that, Andrew gave me the Somfy RTS Interface to integrate the roller shades to my Control 4 home automation system. Now, with a single tap on my phone I can operate my outdoor shades anywhere I am, whether I'm in my backyard, out of state, or out of the country. I've been cooking outside, enjoying the view through the clear screens, and not being bothered by the glare of the sun! My husband, who's very picky, is thrilled to have this product! Now, I can boast that I have the best outdoor roller shades that nobody can beat! Thank you Andrew and Shaun! read more

Really a great product from a design (retractable) to a benefits (cool breezes not wasted) aspect. The installation was easy too and a replacement magnet was done quickly after we realized the wind was blowing open the sliding glass screen door too easily. I have ordered both the mosquito curtains and the vinyl curtains from MosquitoCurtains.com. The design phase was super simple and worked great with the app they use to interactively share the design view with you before finalization. The products showed up very quickly and were easy to assemble and install with all the included hardware. Kind of a fun project, actually. I've ordered a few extra parts over the last two years, Matt was very responsive and quickly got me the things I needed. MosquitoCurtains.com is the best-priced and most effective solution for doing it yourself. We get a lot more use out of our enclosed patio than ever before, so we're very satisfied. read more

Great product and customer service. We have screens installed on our front door, back slider, and French doors. We love the design and the screens lasted over 6 years before we decided to rescreen from wear with dogs and 3 kids. Definitely could have gone longer, but wanted to upgrade to "pet screen" version for more durability. Customer service came out to the far East Bay Area for both maintenance and install! Very friendly and work was performed quickly and with attention to detail. We would recommend! read more

People, Process, Product. Great people...Streamlined process...ClearView Retractable Screens are a " Fantastic " product...We could not be happier. Dan did a great job in proper measurements. Sean was amazing in the installation process. The best screens we have ever purchased. You will be amazed! In addition, we also purchased a Quiet Cool Whole House Fan from Dan. The fan is everything that it is supposed to be. Francis's installation was very quick, neat, and exactly where I wanted it to be placed. We are so pleased! read more
