After working with our go-to contractor and attempting to replace the motor, it became clear that this was not going to be a straight forward fix and was not within scope of our contractor's skillset. We called Classic Spa and Mike was able to come out right away and help us fix the issue. He even got the old motor working again! Mike not only fixed our tub, but he also explained to us novice spa users how it works, how to care for it, and what the limitations are for the way it is currently set up (1980s tech). We should have started with Classic Spa and we would have avoided a lot of money and time headaches caused by trying to fix the issue through our general contractor. He came back a week later to fix the problem, and began to throw a tantrum because of the parking situation in our area. He then went to his truck for a moment; coming back a few minutes later stating that he will do the work. My wife just said forget it and he left.

Mr Walt picked up the phone and went over all the issues we have during the conversation. Surprisingly he took immediate action and came to our house on the same day! He checked the existing equipment and texted me all the details including all the parts we need to replace plus the labor associate with each item. He is very knowledgeable on what he is doing and he came to our house again on the next day to replaced all the broken parts. He took pictures and videos to send over to my cellphone so that I can confirm the pool is working perfectly after his service. Most important part is the price was very reasonable and I didn't even negotiate the invoice. Moreover, he addressed all the potential issues that our pool may have and provide the options to me. Since I will sell the property soon I don't want to spend that much money on "remodel" or "rebuild" the pool as long as it works properly. He provided us a with a viable solution and quote to fiberglass our 40-year-old plaster pool. It should be noted that SBPFR quoted against six other pool repair providers. Our decision to select SBPFR was based on numerous criteria, and they were judged to be the best option. We were right and delighted with this selection! Demolition work began on time, including draining the pool, covering our gazebo to minimize dust and removal of all the old tile. Leading up to the beginning and during the entire project, Miguel kept us up to date with the progress--excellent and timely communications all along the way. The entire project from draining the pool, to all the fiberglass and tile refinishing work took exactly one week plus one day, from start to a full pool.
