Excellent follow through and work at a fair price. Ivan arrived at the scheduled appointment time and quickly assessed our problem with an actuator. He fixed the system so it would run manually until the part arrived just two days later. Now all is repaired and working well. We appreciate Ipool's quick repair of our pool system. read more

I brought in iPools after previous bad service from another company. It was a great decision. With that property I had problems with algae growing in the pool due to the fact it was close by a nursery. Ivan and his team came in and diagnosed the problem quickly and solved that issue. I have since kept them on that property - it's now a rental. I've also brought them on to service my new pool and they have been doing an amazing job. I recommend iPools as a great service provider and at a good cost. It's hard to find a good Pool Maintenence company these days. They are extremely knowledgeable and respectful and they keep the pool looking good always. read more

Ivan and iPools have been helping us with our pool since we bought our new house. Being first time pool owners we knew absolutely nothing about pool maintenance. It didn't help that we didn't move in for months after we closed on the house for renovation, so the pool turned a radioactive green during that time. IPools cleaned it up and have been maintaining it since. Ivan was also nice enough to personally walk us through the basics of pool maintenance and equipment. We just had them replace all the aging equipment (pump, filter, heater, controller) and everything's been working great. Our kids love it! read more

I had a great experience with Ivan at iPools Service & Repairs. He was professional, honest, punctual, and very responsive in resolving an issue with my pool heating system. Working with a local company that is honest, trustworthy, and reliable is a huge stress relief, especially when dealing with pool repairs. Ivan was knowledgeable, straightforward, and got the issue resolved in a timely manner. I highly recommend Ivan and iPools Service & Repairs for any pool service or repair needs. Ivan at iPools service and repair is amazing. We had a problem with the filter pump not cycling the water. He gave me a few things to try over the phone before coming out to look at it. I got it mostly going but couldn't fix the leaks. He was on time, and quick with the repair. Definitely an honest guy and reasonable price. We made plans to do additional work once the season it over. I highly recommend Ivan and iPools! read more

We are beyond thrilled with our pool remodel by iPools. From start to finish and now with weekly service added, we have found Ivan and his team to be very professional, communicative (he even sends us quick videos of any items that need attending to), and highly skilled. Ivan is passionate about his business, takes pride in and stands by his work, and values our business and the investment we made in our pool. I really enjoyed collaborating with Ivan on our project as we discussed usability, functionality and practicality. We added 2 benches, reduced the depth of the deep end and opted for a radiant (glass beads and abalone shells) finish pebble. It's gorgeous! Our prior remodel done 10 years ago was by one of the local businesses who might stop by from time to time during construction but never would communicate directly. If there was an issue, it was too much trouble to bother asking for a resolution. It was the exact opposite of this experience with iPools. Ivan went above and beyond during all phases of the remodel--most notably when he made sure the slope of our existing pool was corrected during the shotcrete stage. That wasn't a request that we would have even known to make. Additionally, Ivan has a great working relationship with the construction crews involved in building a pool. This makes such a difference as, again, the dynamic was so different this time around being a much more pleasant and respectful environment for all involved. I'm very grateful to have had this positive experience as I truthfully dreaded the construction phase. It's quite nice to have an ongoing business relationship as I know once the original pump or heater goes out, that Ivan will get it handled asap. There's never been an upsell of any equipment that we don't need or want. It's like we have a pool consultant now as part of our pool service. Our pool is the focal point of our yard and deserved this major upgrade!! read more

We had I-pools remodel our swimming pool this summer. New plumbing, plaster, gas line and all new equipment. They did a great job and the pool looks fantastic. Ivan was very helpful even with his busy schedule. They did such a good job on the remodel we decided to have his company service the pool on a weekly basis, something I did religiously for over 22 years. Thanks again Ivan for a job well done! read more

We used to have another pool service taking care of our pool. Changing to iPools has made a big difference. Ivan and his employees are first rate. Being in charge of a 200 unit complex in Rancho Palos Verdes with 3 swimming pools and 3 spas, it's important that the swimming pool company we work with exceeds our expectations for service or else we will have many upset tenants. iPools has been great to work with. The quality of their weekly pool service and knowledge of Health Department compliance regulations is far superior than other companies we've worked with in the past. They are very fast to respond to any questions we have and upon hiring them, they produced all of the legal paperwork needed for commercial pool service to us such as their Los Angeles County Health Dept license, proof of liability insurance, contractors license and chemical logs that are kept on a clipboard in the pool pump room. I would highly recommend iPools. read more

Ivan saved me probably $400 and we'd never even met before. My heater wasn't working and I got a quote from my normal guy for $250 for inspection plus the fix. Obviously that wasn't gonna happen so I searched around and sent a note to iPools. Ivan got back to me and told me the exact issue after a brief convo. And then he told me how to fix it. Simple as that. Straightforward, honest and knowledgeable. It was a super easy fix. I'm truly thankful. I'll be calling Ivan again next time! read more

We were getting pool "service" for a few months. The tech was here for about five minutes each time. Leaving a filthy pool bottom that I had to clean myself the day after they came. See pic. They got cancelled. Just to be clear, the owners response about the cancellations is true. We did postpone a number of appointments; however there were two service visits after the completion of our yard work. The pic I took was ONE day after they came the on the last visit ( and we didn't have workers after their last visit contaminate the pool). They simply did an incomplete job. They did not brush the bottom of the pool that has sediment. They just did a quick vacuum and goodbye. It's so hard for business owners to take accountability these days. read more

My experience with iPools was 5 stars. I reached out to inquire about building a pool in my backyard and for hiring a new pool service company for my mom's home. Within 10 minutes of messaging them on Yelp, Ivan Flores, the owner of the company reached out to me and we set up an appointment for the following day. Ivan showed up on time, in a branded company truck, wearing his company's uniform, which definitely makes him look professional as first impressions are important. Upon meeting Ivan he hands me a business card and we began discussing ideas with my pool build. He then followed me to my mom's home and gave me a price for the weekly service. Like me, my mother liked Ivan and we hired his company for weekly service. A tech arrived the following day in uniform to begin the service of my mom's pool. Ivan was very knowledgeable in regards to what can and can't be done with a new pool build in my backyard. He mentioned he does all the design work and permitting himself before they begin digging which is great as I'd like my design to be perfect. I am looking forward to working with Ivan on my pool build, finalizing a design and having a new swimming pool installed in my backyard! read more

Very impressed with the service! We recently have been having issues with the water quality of our pool and maintaining the pool chemicals. I called iPools and the owner, Ivan, came out to inspect our pool and equipment within a couple of days. He was very generous with the amount of time he spent with me explaining what was going on and giving comprehensive recommendations of how to remediate the situation. I truly felt that Ivan cared about our pool and didn't minimize my concerns. I asked on the spot if iPools could take over the maintenance of our pool! read more

We would give 10 stars if we could!!! we want to share our excitement about our restoration of our pool done by Ipools! Ivan and his crew are amazing! Ivan came recommended highly to us and now we know why! we called Ivan and the next morning he was here!! we discussed what we wanted to do which was to replaster with pebble tec and new tile. our pool was in dire need of it! Ivan said the process would take about 3 weeks given they didn't run into any issues! his crews were amazing. they are such hard workers! they were friendly and courteous! Ivan and Albert always checked on their crew and if we had any questions or concerns! Ivan always answered all my endless question with a smile! We could not be happier about the process and ending results. do not hesitate to hire this company for any of your pool needs as Ivan is very knowledgeable! If you have any pool needs, I definitely would go to Ivan and iPools. Not only is he very knowledgeable but he is fair and upfront. I had a leak in the auction side of the system and called several pool repair companies this morning. One could not come out for a week with no return calls from the others EXCEPT for Ivan. He called me back within the hour and told me they he is tied up but spent time with me on the phone diagnosing the problem and gave me a referral as well. I found the leaking part of the system and the pump is working fine now. Ivan did not have to give me advice on the phone without knowing if he will have the job but he did. That speaks volume about his character. Paying it forward, thanks Ivan! read more

My wife and I had several problems with our previous pool service company. We hired iPools 7 months ago for a rental property we own in Rancho Palos Verdes and our renters could not be happier. Living in the San Francisco area and having a rental home in RPV creates challenges for us as we cannot oversee all the people working on the home but working with iPools has been a blessing. They show up, do the work, address any issues that come up and most importantly, they keep my picky renters happy. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a good reliable for pool service company. read more

My pool heater had not been working for a few months, showing an error that my regular pool guy couldn't diagnose. I reached out to iPools and got an immediate response. IPools delivers quality service! We were considering a full pool remodel and several pool companies discouraged us because of our complicated multi level yard. Well, Ivan at IPools came in with the best ideas & when he proposed the work, his rates were fair. Ivan is more than a pool master. He's a designer too! During the construction process, Ivan explained every step clearly and did not proceed or push any ideas until we fully understood the work involved. He was very patient and waited on when we were working on other construction factors, unrelated to the pool. Building a pool is a lengthy process, but Ivan pushed through and delivered! Thank you Ivan. We are so grateful for your expertise and we love our pool! Everyone compliments the classic, timeless pool that fits our space just right. read more

I reached out to this company 2 months ago. The owner was quick to respond and very professional in person. Ivan is amazing! We moved into a new place with a pool and spa. At closer inspection, the pool and spa didn't seem quite right. The prior owner had weekly pool service so it seemed strange the system looked so dirty. Turns out whole thing wasn't being properly serviced. The filter was for a different kind of pool. The levels were off and it didn't have conditioner. Ivan came in and assessed the problems and got started fixing it right away. He had us up and running. When we, through our own mistake, couldn't figure out how to turn something, Ivan came out the next morning to make sure everything worked and to teach us how to properly work the various systems. The pool was in less than ideal condition. They were great to work with, fairly priced, always showed up on time and there was great communication throughout the entire job. We had a pool built about 8 years ago. The builder recommended a pool maintenance company. It wasn't a great experience. I felt like I knew more than the guy they sent (and I knew almost nothing). We then found Ivan and have never looked back. He is amazingly responsive by text or email (like within seconds or minutes), extremely knowledgeable, and super responsible. I have never had a pool before, and I did not realize how complex pool chemistry is, nor how many things can go wrong with your pump, chlorinator, vacuum, etc. Every time something comes up, Ivan earns his keep with his ability to address it right away and to communicate clearly. We're really happy with his company. And, he's nice! Highly recommend. read more
