Then Sam, the repair manager, was awesome in dealing with the warranty company and getting the claim to go through after hours of being on the phone. Finally Ryan came out and completed all the work and got everything working again. Even the people who pick up the phone when you call them are pleasant and helpful. He had specific testing equipment to accurately measure different aspects of our pool's chemistry, and then to see exactly how to treat it to bring it into safer ranges. This was not being done with our previous service, so our chems were way off. Over the next 24-36 hours, he executed a plan to remediate the chemistry of our pool. And it worked! He spent another hour here cleaning and assessing hardware so we have an idea what will be done moving forward. Now I have peace of mind. Bob himself is knowledgeable and courteous. We did not like the expectation of the company that we would leave a side gate open for them on service days or provide a key. There was little to no communication about the work being done or what would be necessary for the pool. They were very communicative and timely around asking for payment at the end of the month. They wrote all over our system in sharpie, and regularly failed to communicate between technicians, so we were answering the same questions over and over. Rates were competitive, but the value did not equate to the provided service or lack of communication--around service times, maintenance, and the services themselves. The technicians changed frequently, and we were often left feeling like we were added to a schedule as opposed to a regular weekly customer. Given everything, we will be seeking alternative options for this season.

At the beginning I thought most of the service provider will be off on the weekend and I have to left a voicemail. Guess what? Mr Walt picked up the phone and went over all the issues we have during the conversation. Surprisingly he took immediate action and came to our house on the same day! He checked the existing equipment and texted me all the details including all the parts we need to replace plus the labor associate with each item. He is very knowledgeable on what he is doing and he came to our house again on the next day to replaced all the broken parts. He took pictures and videos to send over to my cellphone so that I can confirm the pool is working perfectly after his service. Most important part is the price was very reasonable and I didn't even negotiate the invoice. Moreover, he addressed all the potential issues that our pool may have and provide the options to me. Since I will sell the property soon I don't want to spend that much money on "remodel" or "rebuild" the pool as long as it works properly. At the last, this is my first Yelp review I have ever wrote for any type of business in the past 9 years (I came to US in 2007 as FOB) and I feel grateful to share my story and experience with Walt Conklin Pool and Spa service with all other users. The whole team is knowledgeable, hard working and the best part on time to take care of your pool. I went from one pool service to Blue Pacific, and I can honestly say that the pool has never looked better.
