I had to update my initial review with CWC (where I had them install a water softening system) after my recent experience with them servicing my R/O system. In a nutshell, it did not feel much like the old company I had a positive experience with a few years ago. There seems to have been a lot of turnover of people, the tech was a trainee being supervised which was fine by me. There was non stop upselling, on how "old" my system was and difficult to service but it was still working and had no leaks so I didn't see a reason to change it and they coincidentally had a replacement system in the truck "just in case" I wanted it. And in contradiction to what the scheduler told me, they refused to even look at the water softener while they were there, but again whatever. The issue began on day 2 after service when the R/O had no pressure and there was a "water running down the drain sound" all day and all night. When I called the next day for them to come back a look at it they said it would be a service visit that would need to be paid for which was incredulous to me. It wasn't worth aggravation for me so I just decided to move on to a company that would place more value on service after the sale read more

So far the products installed have been working great! I appreciate the owner following up with me and providing me detailed information about his products without me having to chase after him. The competitor company, never even returned my voicemail. They emailed me a breakdown of cost but not what any of their stuff is. Clear water concepts has detailed flyers that give a first timer like me basic information I need to move forward with a water softener. His technician was very kind. My only complaint is that I wish they would've given a disclaimer that they have to turn the water off at certain points of installation because I had my cleaning crew over and it was a bit of chaos. Had the Olympus Water Softener, 32,000, installed by this great company. I had received a quote from Stevens Plumbing, Inc. for the identical system for $2380. Clear Water Concepts did it for $1362.98. This was the price they listed on their Web site. They gave me a quote one day and installed the next. The installer Taylor was very professional and the work done was the best. Being a very good handyman myself I feel very qualified to judge the work as excellent, or worth a Five star. My house has been a customer of Clear Water Concepts since well before I bought the home over 12 years ago. Until recently, they have been very trustworthy, conscientious, and responsive. Especially Matt Ulrich. Approximately two months ago, however, an in-line "big blue" filter split vertically and spewed water in my absence throughout the garage. We secured water to the premises. When called, they came out the same day and replaced the filter and the housing. Now, just over two months later, they refused to respond on a similar issue. The filter housing again failed--just after a couple of months, again spewing water everywhere throughout the garage, out onto the driveway, and into the street until we could shut the water off. Their website says they are open from 9am until 1pm on Saturdays. And this website also promises a one hour response time. Both of these statements are sadly untrue. I respectfully waited until after 0900 to call despite the mess. When my call to the business was first made, I was told my call was important, and I would get help. Little did I know that my call went to an answering service, but I was told that someone would get back to me. Five (5) phone calls later and after promises from an answering service that my messages that I had NO water at my house were being delivered , I finally received a late afternoon text that basically said, "not my problem. Call a plumber." After a couple thousand dollars invested with Clear Water Concepts, including two water softeners and several in-line filters, housings, etc., it is now clear to me that this company does not stand behind the quality of their products, installation, and workmanship. read more

I had Clear Water reverso osmosis and water softener installed in my big house sometime around 2009. It was still going strong when we sold in 2020. So when it was time for RO in our new condo, I didn't even research other companies; just hired Matt again. Best service, best tasting water, best value! Especially for the tight space under the sink of my new condo, the installation was perfect. He placed the unit flush against the back wall so I had as much room as possible for my other stuff. He cleaned everything up meticulously. We explored retrofitting to the fridge, going thru new cabinets etc, and the installer was honest enough to recommend against it. Means I fill my fridge's auto-fill jug by hand, but it's worth it. My recent service May 2023: I called because the water stopped running. Art found the problem: my leaky sink pipes dripped into the RO filter pan and popped the sensor. So he fixed the leak! Not even his product! No charge! Flawless quick thorough service, always.
