I called Home Depot's "Need help fast?" number because I had water under my heater, assumed that meant I needed a new water heater, and needed urgent help. That number goes straight to Delta Mechanical, presented as Home Depot's installer and "100% backed." Delta's own paperwork, and what all legitimate licensed contractors are required by law to do, says they will inspect the area, install the equipment, and test the unit before leaving. Th[[HIGHLIGHT]]ey did not. The wall behind the heater was soaked, they mounted an expansion tank into that wet wall (it fell out the next day), never came inside to run water or clear the lines, did not actually test anything, and left. Soon after, there was water under the new[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]heater again. I repeatedly called and texted Delta asking what to do. They never helped me, and the visit they finally scheduled was a no-show. I had no choice but to hire another licensed plumbing company to protect my home. They even brought another water heater in case the [[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]n[[HIGHLIGHT]]ew one had failed, but after inspecting everything they found and repaired a leak in the wall and told me the water heater itself didn't need [[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]to be replaced, which is what any reputable vendor would do. In total, I paid about $1,100 for the original installation with Delta/Home Depot and another $788 to the second plumber just to end up with one proper installation. Home Depot then told me my labor warranty was void because I had called someone else. Now Home Depot and Delta are trying to spin this as "just a wall leak" instead of admitting the installer never did the required inspection or testing. Home Depot's response was an insulting $500 offer tied to a legal agreement telling me not to talk about this or leave bad reviews, which I refused so I could warn other customers. With several hundred bad reviews (263 on Yelp alone) and BBB complaints about Delta, it is reckless and irresponsible for Home Depot to keep sending customers to this repeat offender.

Placed a rag as their solution for the hole left in the wall

Worst company. Installed a tankless water heater and sprayed a filler all over the walls, ceiling, and stucco. Removed the existing vent for the gas and placed rags in the hole. When the plumber left I said you are not leaving it like that right, he said no because it wouldn't pass inspection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had to call a dozen times with no resolution to come back and fix the mess they created.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is two weeks since it was installed and still they haven't fixed anything. Had to get Home Depot since it was their contractor. Really wish I had looked at their reviews before we decided to use them, not sure why Home Depot is using such a horrible company for their customers because they just lost our business.

Quoted me $1900 to do a kitchen sink installation. My dad and I did it ourselves in 3 hours for $40 in parts.

We had Samuel install a new toilet. He was on time, friendly, and professional. We're very happy with his work and would use him again.

They detected the leak quickly and charged me $88. Great experience, nice people, speedy service.

I am really disappointed with the quality of service I received from Delta Plumbing…read more My first interaction with Delta was when they uninstalled my toilets. I understand that plumbers often have long days and multiple jobs to complete, but that should not be an excuse to place my toilet seats in front of my front door out of frustration, leaving residue on my patio. My second interaction was for the installation of the new toilets. The plumber arrived at my house and immediately attempted to give every excuse as to why he couldn't install them. After speaking with his boss, he came back and said he would install them, but not before explaining that there was new staff working at their call center who didn't know what they were doing and that the details of the job had been explained incorrectly to me. At that point, I honestly just wanted the toilets installed, so I offered to show him my work order. He responded by saying, "I'm not here to argue," and walked away. He then installed the toilets, and when he was finished, he asked me to inspect them. He still appeared frustrated as I walked through the house to look at the work. The brand-new toilets and my floors had a significant amount of residue on them from the installation, but that was not my main concern. One of the toilets was installed at an obvious angle. I am not being picky--it was clearly crooked. I asked if he could straighten it out. Frustrated, he told me the toilet flange was off and that if I wanted it fixed, it would cost $4,500. He then told me to sign off on the job. I also asked him to take the sink that I had paid for him to remove from the house. He refused, stating that it would be a "liability." He said they would simply refund me instead. He then left, leaving behind both the sink and the trash. I admit that I knowingly signed the paperwork because I did not trust the company to properly correct the issue. I later had another plumber come out to inspect and fix the work. He told me there was nothing wrong with the flange and that the crooked installation was most likely the result of laziness. Over the years, I have had many positive experiences with tradesmen and have great respect for the hard work and effort they put into their jobs. Unfortunately, this company did not reflect that level of professionalism or workmanship, and I am truly shocked by the experience I had.

It was a call in the evening not too late around 8 PM and a technician came out and she quickly diagnosed that one of my systems was the outdoor fan and the other one was the compressor. I did not agree with her diagnosis and so I had another company come out and they diagnosed it differently and I told the American home and water what the diagnosis was and had them come out and do a second opinion and they said you're right it is the control board. Please keep in mind that this unit is under warranty and it has been almost a full month and I've had one call made to me about the status of the warranty claim and the replacement part and in the meantime, I went with another company to have this repaired under warranty. Two reasons I'm writing this review; number one the technician that diagnose my systems was completely wrong originally and I was able to get it fixed quickly using another company and while I'm still waiting for this company to be in contact with me about the replacement part under warranty. I hate writing this because they've had great service early on and it's a disappointment that their customer service is now what's making me write this. I had to call three times originally to get an update.
