I am writing as a…read morewitness to share how the front desk experience with receptionist Teresa, has been consistently unprofessional and inappropriate. On multiple occasions, Teresa ignored us at check-in and check-out because she was talking on her personal phone or sometimes because she is chatting with others. She always makes us wait without acknowledgment, and when we did approach the desk, she was visibly irritated and made rude facial expressions. Worse, Teresa is always spoking loudly about other clients and their children, mocking and making disrespectful comments where everyone could hear. She was even talking incredibly loud about her own personal matters, including how she's having a baby, getting tax money, and was being mad because her baby's father gives money to his other child's mother -- all conversations we can hear in the waiting room. The last incident was especially upsetting: she openly gossiped about my niece, and her parents by name to another staff member while we were sitting right there. This made us feel disrespected and humiliated in a place where families should feel supported and safe. I want to make it clear that this type of unprofessional conduct will cost you clients and money. Families will refuse to come to a place where they feel mocked, disrespected, and gossiped about. As Kaiser members, we have already filed formal complaints about this establishment, and we sincerely hope you take immediate action before more families choose to leave for good.

Her deep understanding of each child's unique needs is truly remarkable. She carefully chooses the appropriate standardized assessments for each student and takes the time to explain her results thoroughly. I am especially grateful for Ms. Kelly, who was absolutely wonderful with my older son. She took the time to get to know him personally and build a genuine rapport. Thank you so much, Ms. Kelly. When Ms. Kelly was replaced by Ms. Heather for my older son! She too is amazing. Ms Heather pours her time and effort to support our kids! If they see progress in their goals, they quickly update us so we can continue working on the areas that need mastery. I am leaving this review in hopes that the business owner and staff will use it as an opportunity to improve services for our community. Over the past three months, I made repeated attempts to connect with Learning Tree for an intake appointment. I left multiple voicemails and submitted the online intake form, and received no response at any point. After months of silence, I decided to stop by in person while running errands nearby. When I arrived, the front office was unstaffed. I could hear staff upstairs -- footsteps and conversation -- and called out several times hoping someone would come down to assist me. After waiting several minutes with no response, I called the office phone number. It rang through to voicemail, and still no one came downstairs to answer. When two receptionists eventually came to the front, I explained my three months of unanswered outreach. I was told that my intake form had likely been misrouted to the wrong location and that they had no record of my voicemails. I also noticed that the missed call I had placed while waiting in the lobby was visible on their phone -- yet neither receptionist made any attempt to return that call. I chose not to mention that it was me who had called, as I wanted to observe whether callbacks were part of their standard practice. It appears they are not. While I was being helped, the other receptionist took a phone call. Based on what I overheard, the caller on that line had also been waiting for a callback since November after submitting an interest form. The receptionist acknowledged this and said she would follow up -- though I was unable to confirm whether she did so before I left. I want to be clear: I am not writing this review out of frustration alone. I genuinely hope this feedback reaches the right people and leads to meaningful changes. Families and individuals seeking services from Learning Tree deserve timely communication and a welcoming, staffed front office. I encourage the owner to review intake routing, voicemail monitoring, callback procedures, and front desk coverage so that community members are not left waiting months for a response -- or standing unattended in the lobby.

Well they did the evaluation and assessment and they confirmed my son did need speech services however my son was put on a wait list and never called back to start services. Her receptive speech was in the normal range, but her expressive speech was delayed. At two years old, our daughter was saying only about 5 words. We discussed speech therapy with her pediatrician at her 18 month well check, then again at her 2 year well check. When we were told that she should have been saying at least 50 words by 24 months, we knew that speech therapy was necessary. I contacted Jessica to start the process, and during our first phone conversation, I knew she was the right choice for our daughter. Jessica was extremely patient. She took time with me explaining the process of speech therapy, going over options, and overall, easing my mind about everything. After the initial evaluation, Jessica was able to give us a diagnosis, an overall plan, and an estimated timetable for therapy. Our daughter had sessions with Jessica for about 5 months. Jessica was very flexible with our family's schedule. She came to our home, as well as my parents' home, as they took care of our daughter a few days a week. Jessica immediately bonded with our daughter. She would sit with her on the floor and interact with her in a very calm and patient manner. Our daughter always thought that she and Jessica were just playing. She loved the games they played and the activities they did together. She looked forward to her visits every week. Jessica involved all family members in the therapy process, giving us tools to be able to work with our daughter on skills in our everyday life. She provided us with strategies to be able to reinforce what she had been working on with our daughter. All the tactics and routines that were part of her therapy plan were made known to everyone, and this approach, we truly believe, hastened her development of speech. We saw improvements in our daughter's expressive speech very quickly. Not only was she saying new words, her overall demeanor changed. Before she started speech therapy, she would get easily frustrated, as it was difficult for her to communicate with us. As her speech developed and she was able to express herself more to the people in her life, she became more content and calm. We are so grateful for Jessica and highly recommend her if you are looking for a speech therapist!
