Good evening, I want to share my heartfelt appreciation for Ms. Natalie and her team of SLPA's. She is an incredible Speech teacher, Coach, and Proctor. Her deep understanding of each child's unique needs is truly remarkable. She carefully chooses the appropriate standardized assessments for each student and takes the time to explain her results thoroughly. I am especially grateful for Ms. Kelly, who was absolutely wonderful with my older son. She took the time to get to know him personally and build a genuine rapport. Thank you so much, Ms. Kelly. When Ms. Kelly was replaced by Ms. Heather for my older son! She too is amazing. Ms Heather pours her time and effort to support our kids! If they see progress in their goals, they quickly update us so we can continue working on the areas that need mastery. I also want to thank Ms. Taryn, whose kind demeanor and patience have made a meaningful difference in my younger son's journey. I absolutely love ChattyKiddo. I was recommended to this place by a friend who was currently working here and I am grateful to her. My daughter is nonverbal and autistic, so the goal for this year was communication in any shape or form. We started with ChattyKiddo in February with one session and now 6 months later with 2 sessions per week my daughter is making more sounds and communicating a little more. I rarely write any reviews, but I hope this one finds people who are in need for a GREAT speech and feeding therapist. Natalie helped my one year old to work through some feeding issues via video coaching (we had a hard time finding a feeding specialist in our area for parent coaching and the girl who was sent through early intervention did not seem too well versed in feeding). Anyhow, so my son had issues with eating solids and it was really stressful for us at every meal time. I mean with crying and all. So a friend recommended Natalie (she used to live in NYC and so the community still knows her pretty well!). I reached out. Natalie guided me on helping my son accept new textures / consistencies through play based therapy. So forceful feeding. All play and fun!! It was so empowering to become a therapist so to speak! And it's best you as parent know what to do at mealtime since you are the one feeding our child daily. In 5 short sessions Natalie walked me step by step through her feeding hierarchy to taught me the basic tools (ways to present new food, reward) I can use every time! She emphasized how important it is to make meal time a positive experience for a LO and how to be patient and persistent with therapy process. She is truly caring and will still follow up on our progress to make sure we stay on the right track. My son now eats bananas and avocado! It's such a relief. We are working toward accepting other veggies and fruits that are mushy. Highly recommended Natalie for in person or video coaching, if you live too far like it was in our special case! read more

A very import factor for us in choosing a speech therapist was that Natalie has a great knowledge and experience with the kids with autism. Which was very much needed for us. Also it's important to mention that our household is bilingual. We speak both English and Russian at home 50/50. So we needed a bilingual therapist. And my ideal candidate was: bilingual speech therapist experienced with kids with autism- not an easy catch as you can imagine! Since the first time we met Natalie for an a evaluation I felt she is the right therapist for my son. And I am so grateful we found her! Natalie helped a lot my 3 y.o. with the speech delay. Natalie was always professional, patient, confident, engaging, friendly and fun. My son loved his session with her. When he says something she would encourage him by making eye contact and smiling. Every time Natalie would come up with a variety of activities: painting, reading, singing, blowing bubbles and playing different games etc. Natalie uses a wide range of therapy techniques. Natalie gave us homework sheet and exercises to practice at home what we did at the session. She was very responsive when I needed support in motivating my child to speak at home. For me, as a mom of a child with autism, was extremely important that Natalie sees a big picture. She asked me for the medical reports from our neurologists to get the details of my son's diagnosis. Also she encouraged me to check my son's hearing. She is goal oriented and studies all aspects of your kid to reach that goal. My son not only improved his speech but also gained confidence and improved his communication skills. Natalie is a very professional and talented speech therapist. I highly recommend her! read more

My 6 year old has been with Natalie for almost 2 years and the progress he has made has been tremendous. Natalie is definitely passionate about teaching, always thinking about the next thing or concept that he needs to learn, using many different games and techniques to keep him focused and interested. (It is not easy for him to stay focused and interested.) Speech with Natalie has helped him progress from about a 50-word vocabulary with difficulties in pronouncing many different letters and sounds to now speaking, and gradually understanding, hundreds of words and trying to use phrases and short sentences. I brought in my three year old for a FREE screening this week and this is one of the few places that offers free screenings in Orange County so we were pretty happy! Natalie played a variety of games with my son and screened his speech sounds through fun games (that involved a mirror and a puppet that my son loved). There were no red flags noted developmentally so we were pretty relieved. Will be back for another one in 6 months. Highly recommend this place. Natalie knows what she is doing! As a bilingual speech therapist, proficient both in English and Russian, Natalie helped us tremendously by providing services in my sons mother tongue, Russian, while slowly introducing English. We were seeking a feeding evaluation in Fullerton and found Natalie with Chattykiddo through yelp. It turns out our friend's daughter also was evaluated here and we heard nothing but great things about this family owned clinic from them too. Natalie was phenomenal with our son Daniel and we walked away with specific recommendations and detailed report. The other clinic we went too did very little for us. Daniel has been seeing Natalie for 6 months now and he is eating more vegetables than ever. His day care teacher reports fewer meltdowns too, which is a relief.
