Since September 6 when Spectrum cable had their own outage we have had no cable. We have called…read morecountless times and were told they could not climb the pole because of tree limbs in the way and it was dangerous. We were told Oncor ownsthe pole and they would to do the trimming but Spectrum rents space on the pole and they will have to pay for the trimming job. Back-and-forth back-and-forth. OK we'll do it, no we don't do it, well they'll do that, no they don't do that-back and forth. So we went to the City of Arlington and got the plans for our lot and it showed a 7 1/2 foot utility easement behind our house and that's the reason our backyard fence has to take a big zigzag. So the trees behind our property are not ours. They either belong to the city or the utility company because it's their easement. Nobody will help us we are being bullied into cutting the trees are self which is gonna cost $800-$1000. I went on the site locally in my neighborhood called NEXTDOOR and a very lovely lady gave me information on who to contact. We emailed Tammy Dubbeke at State Representative Chris Turner's ofc. at NNO. SO to those that helped us through our emails ... 'If you were at all responsible for the Spectrum supervisor coming out today, I thank you a thousand times over. Supervisor Greg Allen and technician Nate came out and climbed the pole without any problem and ran a new line from the pole to my house. Instant cable. Their fix was so good it even woke up one of our old cable boxes that was frozen. Also a spike in billing today but they are going to give me credit for the days the cable was off. It is a good day!' Thanks again everyone for all your help.

Also, the price steadily increased until we were paying over $90.00 a month for sub-par internet. When we finally had more options open up for internet in our area, it was a no-brainer to get better quality service for cheaper with a different company. When I called to cancel, the representative repeatedly tried to sell me other services like cell phone service and offered to upgrade our internet speed. I had to tell him five or six times that we didn't want any of that because we had already set up internet service with another company. He wouldn't take no for an answer and was extremely pushy and rude. Finally, he set a date for the service to cancel. I was also informed that we would have to pay for service for almost another month since Spectrum doesn't pro-rate for the number of days left in a billing cycle, so we were forced to pay for internet from two companies at the same time. I then tried to find a phone number for my local Spectrum store to inquire about dropping off my modem, but no phone number exists. I went in to encounter an hour-long wait time. I was then told that I could just leave my modem and that I would get an email confirming that it had been processed within a couple of days. A couple of weeks passed, and I received no email. I called to make sure that the equipment had been returned and spoke to another rude representative who treated me like I was an idiot, and according to her, getting a confirmation email about equipment return is not a thing. Every single person I dealt with treated me with disrespect and apathy, and I can only say that I'm grateful to be done with this horrible company and its absurdly bad customer service. I will never patronize this company ever again.

The guy on the line convinces me to stay and do the promotion with a zumo device. He told me my monthly bill would never go past $95 bucks. I cancel it for good this time in December, and the lady on the phone promises me I would not be charged this month (January), but here I am getting charged. Spectrum reps are liars and I am done with this service forever.

Date of Incident: October 24 - 27, 2025 Location:…read moreWeatherford, TX (Hudson Oaks Office) If I could give Netlink a negative rating, I absolutely would. On Friday, October 24th, 2025, storms rolled through Weatherford, and my parents' internet service went out. My parents are retired, and everything they do depends on their internet connection. We called Netlink immediately. Their phone system said "call volume is higher than normal" and offered a callback option. We selected it -- no one ever called back. We tried again on Saturday. Still no callback. By Monday, I finally reached someone in "IT support." The representative, who introduced himself as Jet, had a very strong Indian accent. I asked where he was located -- he admitted he was outside the U.S. and was not allowed to say where. After researching, I found out that Netlink contracts all their customer service and IT support out to India (Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh) because it's cheaper for them than hiring qualified support here in the United States. In other words, Netlink cares more about saving a dollar than serving their customers. I spent over an hour (1 hr 4 min) on the phone with Jet, and he still couldn't fix my parents' issue. He couldn't even schedule a technician. I eventually called the main 800 number and pressed the "Sales" option just to reach someone local. When I finally reached a rep in Hudson Oaks, I asked for a supervisor in the U.S. -- and was transferred right back to another person in India! I even called 682-257-4414 and spoke to a dispatcher who told me the earliest technician visit was Wednesday afternoon -- nearly five days after the service went down. That's completely unacceptable. I used to be a Netlink customer myself, but I switched to Starlink, and I'm so glad I did. Starlink has been reliable, fast, and their support actually cares about their customers. When storms roll through, Starlink keeps working -- Netlink doesn't. Netlink is the perfect example of a company that has lost touch with its community. They outsource American jobs overseas, provide terrible customer service, and fail to deliver reliable internet when it matters most. Save yourself the headache. Don't get Netlink -- go with Starlink instead. It's well worth the investment. To make matters worse, Netlink is an American company on paper -- headquartered in Madison Heights, Michigan -- but nearly all of their customer service and IT support is outsourced to India, specifically Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The U.S. office handles sales and contracts, while the actual tech support and customer service you deal with are based overseas. They do this because it's far cheaper to pay employees in India ($8,000-$15,000 a year) than to pay qualified Americans ($50,000-$65,000 a year). In the end, Netlink chooses to save money instead of investing in reliable U.S.-based service and customer satisfaction. That's why their support is so slow, frustrating, and disconnected from their customers. In comparison, Starlink has been the complete opposite experience. Their service is reliable, consistent, and built for real people, not call-center scripts. When storms roll through, Starlink keeps working -- unlike Netlink, which seems to go down every time the weather changes. Starlink's customer support is responsive, professional, and most importantly, based in the United States, where representatives actually understand your needs and care about resolving problems quickly. It might cost a little more up front, but it's worth every penny for the reliability, speed, and peace of mind. Starlink proves that when a company invests in its customers and its country, everyone wins.

Most annoying, AT&T's so-called "Virtual Assistant" schedules stuff and dialogs with customers, but it's an outright liar. I waited for a tech one day during the 8 - 12 window Virtual Assistant gave me. Virtual Assistant kept texting me "we're late but we're on the way" for over FOUR HOURS. When it was obvious the tech did not show up, I texted "When are you coming?" Virtual Assistant answered, "We can help you with that." The next day, Virtual Assistant texted "Your repair is complete." I replied, "I don't believe you." Virtual Assistant replied (again) "We can help you with that." Total incompetence. I switched to Spectrum. After I terminated AT&T, they emailed me a "How did we do?" inquiry. I answered it, and a couple of weeks later I received the same inquiry. AT&T's downfall is its stupid automated communications. The nice thing about Spectrum is that they have live people there to answer the phone and their answers are helpful.

Actually getting thru the mindless questions from an AI generated app, to speak with a human is quite the challenge! And when you finally Do get a person, they are in India I believe, and sometimes difficult to understand and impossible to get your questions asked because the conversations are scripted and if you don't follow their script, you get nothing. Today my service was cut off because I had an outstanding balance. Paid it via phone and was told service back on in 15 minutes. Four hours later I turn on the TV and nothing. Restarted the whole system, but still no picture or sound. After being on the phone for an hour, I finally got a signal but no Guide to see what's on! Tech had me plugging and unplugging everything, and generally trouble shooting for an hour! All in all, I would say Dish Network is definitely not the company it once was. their prices are high and go up continuously, the customer service needs to be completely revamped, and moved back to the US, and if they want to stay in business, they had better take a hard look at exactly what they are providing for $130 per month, that we can't get somewhere else!!

Reliability to meet commitments is not something Frontier understands. We were trying to establish new service in an area of town where new lines needed to be installed by their 3rd party contractor. After placing the order several weeks ago and calling twice the pervious week to make sure that work would be completed....the day on stall nothing...no update no information about when service will be connected. When I contacted Frontier on the install day to get a more exact time for the installation I was told the work had not yet been even assigned to a tech because the external work was not completed. No call to update me that the service install would fall off schedule and that we didn't need to have someone take leave from work to be available. Customer Service can't provide the name of the 3rd party or a number to seek an update. The worst part of the customer service experience is the utter lack of accountability and consideration for their customer's time. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told it is impossible to be I could connected to a supervisor. They would need to call me back in 24-28 hours. When I asked who their agent's supervisor was they didn't know. The customer service agent has no way to transfer the call to a supervisor in the call center? Really? I'm sharing my experience not just to warn potential customers in my area but also with the hope that this review makes its way to CEO Nick Jeffery or Charlon McIntosh, Chief Customer Operations Officer. The answer is simple, meet your commitments or have the decency to not blame the failure on your 3rd party sub. Communicate you will not delivery as promised, say your sorry and reset expectations so your customer can make other arrangements.
