After reading other reviews, it's clear this isn't new behavior. Instead of troubleshooting or processing the replacement, which the store is supposed to handle, he told me to call 611. When I called, the employees started arguing among themselves and still managed to place an order for the wrong phone within minutes, even though they kept insisting the store "doesn't do that." They were arguing back and forth about their Verizon experience on my phone. Not liking your job doesn't excuse treating customers this way. Unprofessional, unhelpful, and downright ghetto behavior. Go to any other Verizon store for service, and if you don't already have Verizon, don't even bother signing a contract with them.

Value was great and frankly he is likely under-pricing himself. Highly recommend if you have problems with your home network.

We were told Oncor ownsthe pole and they would to do the trimming but Spectrum rents space on the pole and they will have to pay for the trimming job. Back-and-forth back-and-forth. OK we'll do it, no we don't do it, well they'll do that, no they don't do that-back and forth. So we went to the City of Arlington and got the plans for our lot and it showed a 7 1/2 foot utility easement behind our house and that's the reason our backyard fence has to take a big zigzag. So the trees behind our property are not ours. They either belong to the city or the utility company because it's their easement. Nobody will help us we are being bullied into cutting the trees are self which is gonna cost $800-$1000. I went on the site locally in my neighborhood called NEXTDOOR and a very lovely lady gave me information on who to contact. We emailed Tammy Dubbeke at State Representative Chris Turner's ofc. at NNO. SO to those that helped us through our emails ... 'If you were at all responsible for the Spectrum supervisor coming out today, I thank you a thousand times over. Supervisor Greg Allen and technician Nate came out and climbed the pole without any problem and ran a new line from the pole to my house. Instant cable. Their fix was so good it even woke up one of our old cable boxes that was frozen. Also a spike in billing today but they are going to give me credit for the days the cable was off. It is a good day!' Thanks again everyone for all your help.

Very disappointing experience with Spectrum…read more I signed up after the sales representative told me the service would be symmetrical, meaning the upload speed would match the download speed. That turned out not to be true. After installation, my wired speed test showed around 875 Mbps download but only about 30 Mbps upload, while my current AT&T fiber connection gets around 619 Mbps download and 559 Mbps upload with much lower latency. The sales representative also told me that if I did not want the service, I could simply give the equipment back to the installer. When the installer arrived, he said that was not true and told me he would not get paid if I refused the install, so I would need to return the equipment later myself. This felt misleading from the beginning. I was sold on upload speeds and an easy cancellation/return process that did not match reality. The installer was professional, but the sales side gave me incorrect information. I will be canceling during the trial period and keeping my AT&T fiber service.

Drops, slow downs, etc. They sent someone out who made it better but not great. ATT fiber recently came to my neighborhood and I swapped over. I canceled Spectrum but they are going to charge me for another month even after I canceled and returned all the equipment. "It's in our Terms that we can charge another month. Also we don't prorate any billing". I had turned off my auto pay about a week ago but for some reason they have no record of it. Funny. When I log in to look at my account there is no information in the autopay section. So mediocre service and continuing to bill after service cancellation. If you like that kind of stuff, Spectrum is your company.

Recently I noticed intermittent throughput issues since a large wind storm came through a few months ago. I reached out to them and felt it might be good to have someone come and look at the antenna and confirm it wasn't loose. The technician, via email, told me that they had determined there was a cross signal between me and the tower where my radio connected. They suggested we have a technician come out and replace the radio with a different model using a different technology, which should alleviate the cross chatter that was giving me fits. Despite their busy schedule due to the storms in the area, they were able to accommodate my availability. They determined a technician would arrive between 1:00 and 5:00 pm and sure enough around 1:30 pm, I received a call from Josh, who was 10 or 15 minutes away from me. He arrived around 1:45 p.m. and had a second installer in tow, I believe his name was Corey or Cody, who was in training. Despite the sweltering heat and the height of the roof, about 25 ft, they climbed on up and determined the new radio would be the best option. They told me it would take approximately an hour and that was okay with me, as I was currently using my phone hotspot to prevent any disconnection while I worked remote. Sure enough, within a little over an hour, they knocked on the door, came inside and replaced the POE adapter and started confirming my connection. The throughput exceeded my expectation, as did the professionalism and attention to detail they exhibited. The two installer/technician's action, attitude androfesionalism spoke volumes about the quality of individuals they employ. Good job, Nextlink. Keep up the good work. Signed, a raving fan!

Total Bait-and-Switch: Deceptive Pricing & Incomplete Install…read more Avoid AT&T Internet. A door-to-door salesperson promised me a flat rate of $65/month with installation and equipment fully included. Instead, my app dashboard immediately showed a price $10 higher. I linked my checking account for AutoPay exactly as instructed, but they still refuse to honor the advertised price. Worse, the salesperson explicitly promised the technician would perform a multi-story home signal test for dead zones. The technician completely skipped this step. Now, I have poor service and severe weak spots across my entire second floor, and AT&T's "solution" is to force me into paying an extra $12/month for a Wi-Fi extender to fix an issue caused by their own technician's laziness. I wasted over three hours on the phone with unhelpful agents passing the buck before finally giving up and filing a formal corporate dispute. Reliability to meet commitments is not something Frontier understands. We were trying to establish new service in an area of town where new lines needed to be installed by their 3rd party contractor. After placing the order several weeks ago and calling twice the pervious week to make sure that work would be completed....the day on stall nothing...no update no information about when service will be connected. When I contacted Frontier on the install day to get a more exact time for the installation I was told the work had not yet been even assigned to a tech because the external work was not completed. No call to update me that the service install would fall off schedule and that we didn't need to have someone take leave from work to be available. Customer Service can't provide the name of the 3rd party or a number to seek an update. The worst part of the customer service experience is the utter lack of accountability and consideration for their customer's time. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told it is impossible to be I could connected to a supervisor. They would need to call me back in 24-28 hours. When I asked who their agent's supervisor was they didn't know. The customer service agent has no way to transfer the call to a supervisor in the call center? Really? I'm sharing my experience not just to warn potential customers in my area but also with the hope that this review makes its way to CEO Nick Jeffery or Charlon McIntosh, Chief Customer Operations Officer. The answer is simple, meet your commitments or have the decency to not blame the failure on your 3rd party sub. Communicate you will not delivery as promised, say your sorry and reset expectations so your customer can make other arrangements.
