However the price is ridiculous. They go up every year and just charge way too much for this economy. It doesn't even allow access 24/7. The management was great (5 stars). The prices get (2 stars). I recommend dealing with Vanessa if you already have a unit there

The website was easy to navigate, the facility was pristine, the prices competitive and the service that Janey provided at the Blue Island location was impeccable. Janey was filling in at this location but knew the facility and its offerings as if it were her regular store. She went out of her way to make it a positive experience and was a great brand ambassador. It was my first experience with Cube Smart but won't be my last. I highly recommend CubeSmart and the Blue Island, IL location.

I've been a customer of this Public Storage location for over a year, and overall the facility is…read moreclean and the staff are professional. However, my experience has been negatively affected by repeated and significant rent increases on my unit. When I started in January 2025, my monthly rent was $382.50. In October 2025 it increased to $428.70, and again in January 2026 to $474.90. These increases came in a relatively short time frame. What's most frustrating is that new customers are being offered materially lower rates for comparable units at the same property, according to current advertised pricing. When I raised this concern with on-site management, I did not receive a satisfactory explanation or adjustment. I understand market changes and periodic rate adjustments, but ongoing increases without transparent justification -- especially when newer customers are paying less -- feels unfair and has left me disappointed. I hope Public Storage can improve pricing transparency and ensure existing customers are treated fairly in line with advertised rates.

The price is out of control and they keep raising it all the time. It's completely unaffordable.read more
