The roof was caving in and particles kept falling on my items, mold was atrocious. Obviously, if I store it, it is important to me. However, not to them. The mice were also entering and eating any bags or boxes. It was very upsetting. Thank goodness for new owners. I was going to move the next hike in price when I decided to voice my concerns with new owner. Right away, Pricilla, property manager reached out and immediately moved me to a better, clean and close by unit. As difficult as it is to move, I immediately started to move before my belongings completely got destroyed. This new owner is awesome. Really know what customer service is. Comforting because customer service has long been gone and non-existent. Thank you, Priscilla. I was definitely on my way out to a new storage facility, however, having heard my concerns definitely made me stay here. Would definitely recommend, now.

Bs They don't take care of property i have videos of climate control in summer 80 90 100 degrees while office 65 freezing. Winter 50s 30 40 50 degree temperature swings raised mine massively last year this year again parking lots a nightmare nothing has been improved here since 2008 ​Terrible storage &horrible treatment customers If this site have a 0 star,I personal will give this public storage 0 star,they not even deserve to get 1 star...I rent a storage from them 3 years ago,the Unit D44 at veterans memorial Dr ,Houston Texas location, in first month they charge me $175 /per month, then couple months later their price automatic jump up higher and higher, from$175/month to 200 then $285/per month..They're go up their renting price very fast and high when they saw customers in need their storage,like me,I stay with them 3 years,paid a lot of money for that storage in 3 years..but not just that,whenever you have late payments, they charge you $45 bucks for late fee,much more than you be charged for car payments late fee(Car payments late fee just 30-35 bucks)..and that's not the real problem..The biggest problem is I'm in sick, I was out of town to take care for my health problems, then i got late payments, then they send me an email tell me they'll sell my storage items in auction if I don't make payments ,then i had to call the storage office but nobody answered my phone,I leaved them a voice-mail message to let tgem know I'm out of towm,will be back in couple days and be there to make payments right away when I back home.but right after that,they send me another email tell me that they sold my storage items on auction with only $130.00 dollars, and tell me i must pay them the amount still in my balance is over $700.00..(my storage is a big storage, I put the whole my home items in there,including 2 my king and queen beds like brand new, dining beautiful wood table, family full set dinner table, brand new cabinets and a lot more,it's full the storage)but they said they sold it in auction just only $130.00 dollars?Does anybody can believe that?are they stupid or cheating to tell me they sold all my full big storage items with that price,and require me must pay them more for the less of my balance?look like they thought I'm stupid man so they can fool me to tell me they sold my items in that very cheap price just like give it fo free...If my items too cheap,am I need to paid their storage almost $300 dollars per month in three years to store and keep my items in there? The facility and units were clean and well lit. They have great hours. 6am to 10pm everyday is a great time to allow all your customers access to their units. I've been in this facility since April 2016 and when I first went to see the space, I was concerned…read moreabout the security of the building. Well my husband told me I was just being paranoid (I work for a security company, so I suppose I have higher standards). The people that work here are always very nice - yes, but I think everyone who stores here should know what we experienced last weekend. October 2016 on a Sunday AM, we were at the unit, maybe around 8-830am. We have 2 units here and we were consolidating to one unit. We parked our truck outside our main unit and of course had the windows down. I noticed a lady walking around the property and didn't think much of it at first, until she started getting EXTREMELY close to our vehicle, looking in our windows. Walking in between our truck and our storage unit and kept looking into our space. She continued to do this for a while and we opted not to say anything to her - maybe she'd just leave us alone. (She looked like she was high on something). The next thing we notice, is she started to jump the fence in the back corner where the barbed wire is bent, and left the unit. A few minutes later, she was back in the unit (she went through the fence (literally walked through) on the other gate further down). Now she is back to walking around, staring at us... watching our every move. She kept sitting on the ground and watching us. She disappeared for a bit again and then a little while later, she climbed the front gate (that you enter through) and just sat on there for a while. She eventually got down, and came back to our unit and at that point my Husband asked her if she had a problem and she mumbled that she was looking for someone. She was walking in and out of our belongings and staring in our unit again. So we opted to tell her to leave us alone or else we'd call the cops. The cops showed up - and right when they showed up someone opened a unit from the inside and she went in to their unit. With the hour and half we were there, not once did we see someone's vehicle, etc. there except for another person at his unit that we talked to, to make sure he locked his vehicle b/c of her. My personal thought... I can't say whether or not the guy was there before us that morning, or if he stayed in his unit overnight. It's just very odd that someone from the inside of their unit after 1 - 1 1/2 hours just opens up like it's nothing. I called the management on Sunday - talked to a girl there, and said the manager was off until Tuesday AM. I haven't heard from anyone, and I had to call the property manager today. He told me they have warned the individual at the unit she went into that she isn't allowed back there or she will be arrested. I expressed my concerns about the unsecure parts of the building and they mentioned they reinforced those spots a few weeks ago. I suggested they check them again. Unfortunately, we will be leaving this place as soon as possible b/c with all the crazy stuff that happens these days that you see on the news, if we don't feel safe at a place, how can we continue to pay them. I wish we had a better experience as this place was very close to us. **ALSO I'd like to note - they asked me not to put a review on here b/c it would be unfair b/c it was a one-time experience and this has never happened before. Everyone has the right to believe what they want, but I also have the right to express my concerns and to share my experience.

They have a great location well off the beaten path so not much traffic goes by the location wich helps with peace of mind for security. They also have a gate that is open hours of operation and then locked when they are closed.
