Disclaimer: This review is about 3 weeks overdue...meant to review them after my work was done on 2/4, but I've been busy busy busy. Moving right along....Had occasion to use Cleaning Mavericks to do a moveout cleaning on my rental property, to prepare for an incoming tenant. I called shortly after they opened for the day, and got a VM requesting a message be left, and the call would be returned within an hour. Since I was pressing to get this done at the last minute, I was clock watching, and called a little after an hour had passed, leaving another message. Yes, impatient I know...but I was kind of in a bind. I received a call back from one of the office personnel (later found that she was one of the owners), to give my info & schedule. She told me that they had a cleaning in Dallas, but could fit me in immediately afterwards, for 2 man hours of cleaning. Fast forward to their visit....great service! Kurt (the other owner), and one of his staff came in & got right to work, after identifying what I wanted done. I only wanted a light cleaning done, since the house was pretty empty, but wished afterwards that I'd gone with the 4 hour service, because I underestimated the amount of cleaning needed. Will be calling Kurt back to do another moveout clean after these tenants leave, and will recommend them via Yelp & word of mouth to anyone who'll listen. The work's great, the prices are dirt cheap compared to other cleaning services, and the team doing the work is genuinely friendly....what's not to like. read more

I am not a homemaker. Never have been. Actually, to be perfectly clear on this... the thought of touching something grimy or dirty-looking, sends me into convulsions. After buying my house two years ago, and only doing "surface" cleaning for said two years, I've accumulated enough dust bunnies to start a pet shop. When one of them finally decided to attack me, I figured HEY. Maybe it's time to bring in a professional.... Enter: Cleaning Mavericks. After pricing the markets for a day or two and realizing that I'm seriously about to pay out the ass for a cleaning, I happened upon a coupon from Living Social. $64 for 4 man hours of cleaning (less than half of what others were going for). Time to shine! I had the good fortune of having the two owners come to service me. They were on time, super friendly, efficient, and most importantly, they cleaned underneath my bathroom vanity that had become the bain of my existence. We just moved in to a new house and the sellers left it a total mess. I had Cleaning Mavericks come out today to help clean and I was very impressed with the work that was done. The owner, I'm pretty sure her name was Catherine, was the one who came and she did a great job. I would definitely recommend this company and would be willing to use them again and again. read more

They are hit or miss...if Eric comes they do a good job, if not, you dont know what you're going to get.

They were mean, and late. Wouldn't recommend them at all! They had an attitude like it wasn't their job.. smh disappointed

I really wanted to give them 5 stars since the customer service was so great but couldn't due to some spots that weren't cleaned in my apartment and they didn't have a chance to come back that same moment to clean the spots they missed. I am willing to use them again though because the owner Eric called me and apologized and offered to make it a better clean the next time around. read more

Lesson learned..NEVER buy housecleaning by the hour. Thankfully, I had bought a coupon, so the cleaning was half off. But for $75 I've had a much cleaner house. 2 1/4 hours for 2 people, they only had time to do my downstairs which = MBR, Kitchen, LR, Office and 2 baths. Maybe since I was home and witnessed the cleaning, I saw how much better it could have be done. Floors were not swept or vacuumed. They were only mopped with a wet Swiffer type mop w/ water. I don't really consider a Swiffer pushed around things (long drapes, dogs pillows, area rugs, chairs) in the major traffic areas as cleaning the floors. As I was walking them out, noticed dust on a tables that was missed. Ugh! On the plus side, they were very friendly and politely asked for a drink. They did clean the base boards and wipe off the light fixtures. But, I would have much rather had completely clean floors and not just a wet Swiffer in the traffic areas. IMO, waste of my $$ and my time. read more

We got off to a bad start when they couldn't make my original appointment because they were stuck in traffic across town. Then, they told me they would call me later that evening to rebook, but they didn't. Finally, another appointment was made with the promise of an extra half hour of cleaning because of my inconvenience. At last, the cleaning has taken place. The two people that came were friendly and used good products. Compared to other cleaning companies I've used, the Cleaning Mavericks were not as organized or worked as quickly. The house was semi cleaned when they left. Some areas were cleaner than others. I will say that I've learned something from this experience. It's difficult to buy cleaning jobs by the number of hours worked and be totally satisfied because by nature we want to get it done in the lowest amount of hours. read more

We hired Cleaning Mavericks to do a move-out clean of my brother's apartment. He was a smoker and didn't clean much, so the apartment really needed some good deep cleaning. Eric and Catherine did a great job and made the place look and smell so much better. The best thing was that it didn't smell like harsh cleaning products... it just smelled good! Their price was reasonable, they were on time, and they actually answered their phones, unlike some companies. They also have a good website. Very happy with their service. read more

I've had a few things done for me by Cleaning Mavericks. They visited, analyzed my house space and recommended different ways that we can create more space in our 1 bedroom apartment. Eric was amazing and walked me through every step of the way and even made sure I purchased the correct storage accessories. He went above and beyond for an affordable price. On top of that, the cleaning crew comes every two weeks and cleans well. I provide feedback on the things that I would like my way, and they adjust on the next visit. Great company and great people. Pros - were great about rescheduling and showed up on time Cons- It was a move out cleaning and the house was pretty clean to begin with...they had 2 people for 4 hrs (i.e I paid for 8 hrs of cleaning). They missed several base boards and window ledges, did not clean the kitchen floor properly, nor the kitchen sink, didn't clean the toilet seats nor one of the showers. I could have done the whole thing in less time and done a better job. When I called to complain they said they could come out the following day which was too late as we were selling the house. Their work was surface cleaning at best and we had to clean the floor scuff marks, all the toilet seats, shower floor etc on our own. I hired them because I didn't have the time to do it myself. Horrible customer service... Were an hour late had to cancel and book with someone else

They do a good job with the cleaning itself, most of the time. That being said, they will promise you at initial hire that it will always be the same people coming to your home, it won't be. One of them was different almost every single time. Also, be prepared to have to constantly follow up with them on incorrect invoices or some of your trash cans not being emptied or food stains still on your floor that you hadn't properly cleaned (and neither did they) or not being able to find your bath matts because they were left bundled up hidden behind the closet door etc... I was billed incorrectly the first time, 35 dollars over normal rate. This was corrected and applied to my next visit. Then, I was told the 5th cleaning would be free... I was billed a full amount and had to follow up with them again... read more

Cleaning Mavericks went above and beyond to fit me in for a last minute appointment. They did a great job for a great price. You could also tell this was a local company, not just a chain. They truly cared about the job they did. I will be signing up for reaccuring services. read more

Wow! I wish I could give this team more stars!! They have been my cleaners for a while and they are super flexible because I travel a lot and I own multiple homes in 3 states. They always make it beautiful and they are so smart in how they use their time, resources and MY money-- sometimes when they clean during a holiday or event, there will have been 7 people in residence, other times just me and my husband. I can tell them I am coming home after being gone for months and they make it seem like we were never gone. The most important aspect of this service is the intelligence of every team member. If you tell them the goal or objective, they will deliver. YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL THEM HOW!!! read more

The Cleaning Mavericks did an AMAZING job on my house! I am such a neat freak, that it is really hard to please me. We have a large family (Baby #7 on the way) and have a home-based business, along with home schooling...to say our house is 'full' is an understatement! The Cleaning Mavericks came in and got our place SPIC and SPAN top to bottom...they were SO detail oriented...even hand wiped chandeliers, tops of shower tiles, you name it...all the places our other cleaning company had neglected for the last 3 years. We were VERY impressed not only with their integrity, but with their work ethic...and the price could not be beat! I called many companies before going with them, and am SO happy that I chose Cleaning Mavericks. I called Cleaning Mavericks on a Friday afternoon around 4 and told them I needed my apartment cleaned by Sunday and the owner responded with " I will be more than happy to come out and take care of that" he himself came out Saturday night taking away time from his family to clean and did an excellent job.
