booked them and gave them square footage and bedrooms/living room/bathroom count for the day we were moving out. 3 women came and didn't speak English - someone that doesn't work for the company called me translating saying it would be 6.5 hours to mop/vacuum/clean bathrooms... we have 1 cleaning lady that comes every other week it takes her 3 hours max and she charges $100 our original quote for 2.5 (they say 2.5 minimum) for $350+ then I said too expensive they gave me $30 off then 10% off so clearly their upfront rates are inflated. after the women just left without saying anything I got a call saying they won't be able to clean and they're sorry but the ladies had a different job. how can you quote me 6.5 hours then have a job? terrible customer service + so unprofessional. left us hanging the day we moved out and got us fined with our landlord. wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

The cleaners did a good job, the house had two prong outlets and the carpet cleaner needed a 3 prong. I had to leave what I was doing and take an adapter to them. I gave it to them to keep for future reference, but feel that should already have been in their possession. Also hard to know how much that wait added on to my total bill. I'm currently requesting a full refund for the terrible service. TLDR of it is my wife and I wanted a clean home for our newborn. He's coming in 4 days. Hired two maids to clean the house for his arrival. I told them I wanted two maids for about three hours, for a total of six labor hours. 600 bucks and 6 hours (12 labor hours) later they had barely touched the downstairs and did a bad job upstairs. Bathroom wasn't cleaned behind the toilet, trash bag left on the floor and all sorts of other areas missed. I have the pics to back it up which I submitted. They were working in the same room together for most of the time and showed no sense of urgency. My wife and I can completely clean our entire house in less than four hours. As of 06/02, they have not called me back to discuss the claim, they only sent an email acknowledging receipt of the pictures. Thanks to My Maid Day, we are out over $600 (that's a lot of groceries) and still have to clean the house for the arrival of our newborn. read more

My Maid Day is so much more than services I have and I've used several maid services. 2 people were sent out to my home, they were on time, and did a walk threw with me as I explained what was most important to me. Like most , my bathrooms the kitchen and the dusting! The bathrooms were scrubbed and the light fixtures were dusted even the light bulbs! My kitchen was cleaned so well, and the floor cleaned and coffee stains scrubbed up and my refrigerator shine like new! My electronic were dusted and not one of them were unplugged and nothing was broken! I waited until the last minute to schedule both times, thinking I would be feeling up to cleaning myself after moving (lol). They were very accommodating and able to schedule me ASAP. The first time I used them, my studio hadn't had a professional cleaning in almost 3 years and the lady had it spotless in 2 hours. Kitchen, cabinets, bathroom, everything. I had forgotten some stuff in a drawer when I moved and she even bagged it up for me. I moved again recently and had another positive experience. It took longer than expected, so it cost a little more, but she cleaned the carpets and even took the time to tape my broken blinds that my dog damaged back together so I would not be charged by my complex. DO NOT USE "My Maid Day!" They made us alright -- made our day horrible‼ We requested My Maid Day for Saturday January 20, 2024 for a make-ready home with no furniture and minimal things to trash. We requested cleaning for 4-bedroom, 3 bathroom home. I must emphasize that WE COMMUNICATED Precisely to Ester, (who took our order) that this would be AN EASY JOB because the oven was already clean, bathrooms were clean etc., but needed to be deep-cleaned. We requested to have the carpet cleaned in 2 of the bedroom. $110 dollars and hour and $50 for the carpet cleaning for both rooms. A two hour minimum was required. 2 ladies arrived, they acted very surprised that it was a house, 1796 square feet. There was definitely a language barrier. One of the ladies was on a cell phone and handed the phone to me. A man I spoke to said, he thought it was an apartment! I told him that I gave ver EXPLICIT details so what is going on⁉ He was very rude & belligerent! He said it would take 8 hours, and there was no guarantee! Needless to say, we declined their service! Thank God we prayed before we left the house! We later found someone to do everything requested for a $300 flat rate! They did such a good job, we gave an extra $100 bucks for the tip! My wife  was quoted a price of $160 for a TWO HOUR deep clean. The crew did a  half-ass job and took advantage of my wife, who has a disability. Just as an FYI to future customers, they do have a 2.5 hr minimum. So be prepared for that if you have a small house like we do. There was no reason to contact Lori just because she had hired you before. This was a new request by a different person. I made more than one call to the company and was very clear that I was not only making the reservation but paying for it too when we talked about the cost. So there was no need to contact anyone else for any reason. Of course I got a discount. Your company messed up and did what was right. And yes, the ladies were nice and did a good job, as expected. I have used my maid day twice now. I was introduced to them through my movers (AB Movers). I had hired a company to do A move out cleaning of my old apartment. The other company failed miserably, so I tried my maid day. They were awesome! Did a great job and I was able to get my full deposit back from my apartment. I also use them a second time for fall cleaning of my new apartment. Again an awesome job. Both times they sent Maria and I cannot complement her enough for the great job that she did. I highly recommend asking for Maria when you schedule an appointment. She quickly and efficiently removed stains that the previous cleaning company said could not be cleaned. My maid day was unprofessional and did not provide great customer service. I hired them for a move out clean of my one bedroom apartment. They finished it in 2 hours & when I returned the did not clean inside/outside of cabinets, drawers, or the dishwasher. In their move-out clean service it states these items will be cleaned. When I notified my maid day and sent pictures. They did send the maid service back however I had to go back to the apartment & monitor as they cleaned. Even as a I monitored the service was unprofessional. One person stated "oh you want me to clean the inside of the drawer?" Also they used my vacuum because they said "there's suck." I had to then unpack my vacuum. I do not recommend the service and thought the customer service was very poor. I requested a refund and was told only 20%. I still have yet to get a reply back to or refund. I have yet to be contacted still about a 20% refund read more
